This is my first bad review but I am emotionally exhausted. I spent 5 hours on the phone with Verizon and could not get my issue resolved. Someone turned off my line when they activated a different line. I feel like everyone I spoke to was inept, though nice. I tried to be kind but after 5 hours I was in tears and had to hang up. My bill is also extremely high every month and phone is still not working.if I did not want to keep my number I would change carriers.
If I could give them a 0 I sure would they don't care about their customers all they want is the money I am not happy with them I pay my bill every month early and they can't help me I will be going to some other phone company
Mark at russel wireless in Danville pa ******* told us the bill would be 160. A month or 3 lines we'll my first bill 362 ok new contract what ever my second bill 558. My third bill 260 tried to return my phones he won't take them wish I would have stayed with att better service cheaper bill I have it in writing what our bill would be from Mark still nothing
Verizon constantly has a "Bait & Switch" tactic! I am on the phone with them every month, about hidden charges, that keep popping up on our account. We have been with them since 2008. Back then, it seemed to be a good company. Now (especially in the last 2 years), there have been a lot of hidden charges that they keep adding to our account. We have been in Florida for 5 years, & purchased all 4 phones here in Florida. However, they have 2 of our phones billed at our old Chicago address. They said it's because we didn't change the "SERVICE ADDRESS". When we purchased the phones here in Florida, shouldn't that have been done then? That was an additional $15 per month. They added a "PLAY MORE PREMIUM" on our account. That's an additional $30 per month. We have NEVER used Disney, HULU, or ESPN, through them. I have that thru my cable service. We also have NEVER used APPLE PAY. They couldn't let us know who signed us up for that, but says that it has been on there for years. I couldn't tell that it was on there, because it is under the same name of the previous plan that we have always had, but they added it as "PREMIUM", so that we couldn't catch it. Furthermore, we already had the Military Discount on our plan. They keep removing it. That's an additional $40 that they keep adding to our bill. Once you are a Military Veteran, you can't "UN-VET" yourself. Every month. I am on the phone with them for over an hour, discussing new charges. I didn't think that I would be switching my phone service. However, this may be the time to do it. This is terrible. They need to refund my money for this "PREMIUM" plan, & the out-of-state service address that they have been billing me for.
Don't get this company worse customer services ever and they lie to you when they said you will get a free phone id you trade your phone...
I have been a Verizon customer for about 4 years now and things have steadily gone down hill, if that's even possible. This doesn't just apply to their wireless service either, their home internet service is even worse. If their own site doesn't work how much do you think your service will? Something to think about. The Technicians dont show up or will call at the 11th hour with a late call (they eat up your entire day), Service is intermittent, calls drop my cell phone resets itself constantly while Im actually on a call! I can go on and on about how horrible the service, products etc suck but I don't have enough hours in the day. I would probably fair better with styrofoam cups and string.

I started with Verizon in January 2023. I have never regretted a decision more. They say customer service can make or break a company.well Verizon is a "broken" company! Verizon customer service will lie over and over again just to get you off the phone. I returned my brand new phone in for a refurbished phone listening to their lies, and the refurbished phone had the "EXACT" same problems! So now I'm paying almost $1000 for a used phone! For "FOUR" month's I have been lied to by Verizon's customer service, and have been in and out of their stores trying to get satisfaction on my "EXPENSIVE" investment, to no avail! I want to just give up and keep my junkie phone, because I am exhausted with them, but that is what this company hopes for! No Way! I will file reviews and tell everyone I know that "Verizon Wireless Is CRAP"!
Please let me preface this letter by stating I have tried to be as accurate as possible with facts, date and discussions conducted. ON March 25,2023 I chatted online with Verizon representative on Verizon website (pic attached).
I was very much interested in transferring service from another provider T-Mobile to Verizon. I had two phone lines. I was offered $80.00 plus tax plus $70 transfer free for two lines in writing.
On March 25 I went to the Verizon store at 4948 Big Island store Jacksonville FL. *******
I spoke with Caleb, he acknowledges that we have the deal and he set me up and made the transfer, at the end of the transactions, he gave the SIM card and told me to insert to my phone the next day, he stated that the phone will work in 24-48 hrs on Verizon network. Since the second phone is locate in New York, I will have someone take the phone to the Verizon store in NY and get the SIM card.
After 2 hrs I logged in to my Verizon portal, I reviewed the bill posted on the website for $150 plus tax plus $70 transfer fee.
I went back to the store and spoke with the lady( I don't know her name), she was a store manager, she told me that Caleb made a mistake and the monthly fee would be $150 plus the $70 transfer fee. I requested to cancel the deal, since it was a fraud. She could not reversed the transaction that was misleading and fraudulent.
She send me back to T-Mobile to transfer the service from Verizon to T mobile. She gave me a pin for transfer and additional number to complete the transaction by T-Mobile.
T-Mobile complete the transaction. I had to pay again the $70 transfer fee.
To say I am disgusted at every aspect of the way Verizon does business is a massive understatement. They lie, deceive and pass the buck with every transaction. They promise things have, or will, be done and they brush them under the carpet. They make following up with representatives nigh on impossible and they paint themselves as the nation's sweethearts of the cellular industry. I sincerely urge everyone reading this to be extremely careful with your dealings with this company. And if you are a potential customer, I would urge you to carefully read this story, and the hundreds of others littered around the internet before making an informed decision as to who you want to trust your heard earned dollars to. I know for me I will never go near this company again and will make every effort to make sure my friends, family and colleagues avoid a similar fate.

Went Verizon franchise today in Taylor Az. Had questions about my pictures and cloud storage. They might be able to help if we paid them $29.00. Been with them over 25 years. WOW
I had a Verizon rep come to my door talking about if I switch to Verizon from Xfinity and I have the ACP program that the bill is free he said lies so I switched worst mistake I have ever done now I got this big bill and they say they won't fix it or anything seen how they lied and faults advertisement to get a sale I had internet for 10 dollars a month why would I switch for more when I been with mine over 5years i went back to Xfinity but Verizon scammed me so bad seen how there rep lied to my face and faults advertisement they don't care that's what they work I have a screen shot of them advertising free internet with ACP program but when u get there service they say oh no it's nothing like that stay clear of Verizon they are horrible not good at all horrible customer service please if you have been scammed and lied to by Verizon everyone make a complaint.
Verizon is the worst cell phone company I ever used I thought T Mobile was bad but let me tell don't use Verizon, I did a contract in August / 2022 in which they promised a $200 gift card a lie supposedly a free iPhone 12 a lie, now I'm locked in a 3 year contract with a raggedly phone locked in a phone plan that tells me I'm out of something, I'm 72 years and explained I didn't really know how to use the agents at Castelton on 82 nd street wouldn't help me
Verizon is the worst phone company out there I would not recommend Verizon to anyone that wants a real phone service they are a rip off and a crook they don't care for their phone service it is garbage complete garbage
I contracted with Verizon to change my business phones from Comcast 3 months ago. Received the phones and was supposed to get someone to program them.NEVER HAPPENED It took 3 months for them to port our numbers over to them. Now that they have the numbers, WE STILL HAVE PHONES BUT NO SERVICE We have forwarded our phones to our cell phones just to stay in business.
Over 50 calls to them and still nothing but promises and "we are sorry" Receiving bills for 10 lines that we do not have? I have been paying my bill for what I believe we owe. Getting turn off notices. Was expecting a call from a supervisor yesterday at 4pm Never happened.

Entire Verizon experience. The website chat support is a joke. No one ever has the correct answer to solve a problem. They just pass me from person to person where I have to describe the issue as many as 5 times. They often can't answer basic questions. Often I can't even understand the person because their English is so poor.
The email support is just as horrible. Endless back & forth with no results. Again asking me to repeat myself numerous times as I get passed from one useless customer service person to another. I spent a total of 8 hours trying to set up a business line. All the repetitive back and forth is exhausting. Your terrible service has worn me out.
As soon as I pay off my phones I'm immediately switching both to Consumer Cellular. The Consumer Cellular person I just spoke to already set up my new account and is sending the new SIM cards so I can finally say goodbye forever to Verizon. They understand what actual customer service is.
Verizon could learn a lot from their business model. I'll never use Verizon again.
Tried to get me to sign up for an $80 a month plan with a $35 connection fee plus a credit check to unlock a phone I bought on Amazon, only to find out the had no intent or ability (so they say) to unlock my phone. Don't trust them on their word
Verizon sales offices, especially their VECTRA stores in California are deceptive sales people who will get you into all addons and conveniently forget to use all the information they put into the computer on you to register your phone and get your credit - when it comes to service or warranties. They upsold me on a Pelican case and liquid screen cover - which I usually would do on my own, but wanted it done right - so then I let them do it in store - only to learn later that no warranties are registered for their addons and my addons have to all be opened and registered by me - though the salesperson had all the boxes and paperwork when the phone parts and accessories were opened and assembled. AVOID VERIZON - DO ALL YOURSELF THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO DO. GO CHECK OUT OTHER CARRIERS FIRST. Even when I called in with the receipts 5-6 months after buying the phone - the companies would not stand behind it and said that I had to register everything. I explained that the sales person did all the accessories - and they said it was on me to make the sales person get the paper work registered. :( Life lesson learned - avoid VERIZON LOCAL STORES - "IF" YOU have to use Verizon because of their monopolies of rural areas.
