BUYER BEWARE!. I've purchased two items and returned both. One was received by Venus on 11/18 and the other on 12/7 as indicated by UPS tracking numbers. Getting a refund is next to impossible. After multiple chats and emails, I still haven't gotten my refund. Venus said it was sent to paypal. Paypal shows no record. Venus indicated to contact my bank. My account still shows the credit for the amount $54.59! This is my experience. I will never purchase from Venus again. Not worth the headaches.

I have written an email to Venus to ask them to please reconsider their cookie policy. They State very clearly in their privacy policy that they will track my information and also share my information with other companies. I do not think this is fair nor is it a good business model. I spent a lot of money on clothing, gladly. I do not look upon uninvited spam emails fondly. If I want to contact another company for their service or product I will do so on my own. I think this is becoming more and more of an issue for many people and companies that cannot respect our privacy will lose our business.

Been having an ongoing issue since August. Venus sent me not 1, but 2 bathing suit tops in the wrong color. They then sent me another (not at a discount or anything). I had to return all 3 because 2 were wrong and 3rd didn't fit. They issued me a gift card and refused to credit back to my credit card, even though it was THEIR mistake about color. Now my account is on hold and I can't even order to spend my POS gift card. I've called 5 times in last 2 weeks and everyone promises to call back. I've done tons of business with them, but not anymore. My next step is BBB. The incompetence is amazing. It's not December and this has been going on since August!

Ordered in November for the holidays. Got an email on the 30th of November saying it has shipped. As of dec 12, there are no shipping updates when I try and track it. I've tried to contact customer service twice and they just tell me it is in transit. Leaving for a few days to spend the holidays out of town. Would never had ordered had I known it was going to take more than two weeks to arrive. Website says 5-7 days for Canadian shipping. I've ordered from here before with no issues. Will definitely not be ordering again as this is a huge inconvenience for me now that I'm going out of town and will be worried about my parcel arriving and nobody to receive it. Order elsewhere that has more reliable shipping.

Don't let the "positive" reviews fool you. They are fake. Not the company, but the reviews. However, the company is basically a SCAM. They send you inferior quality products that cost a fraction of what you paid. If you return, they find ways to charge you shipping plus stocking fees, to credit less than half of what you paid... in 1 or 2 months.
It needs to go out of business. They might technically be a company, but they're not legit. Scammers are what they are.

I have had the worst experience with my orders. When I call they say we have to get a supervisor. After placing me on hold employee named Katrese said it will be 24 hour's. I said ma'am I placed a order and my CHRISTMAS party is this year. She was very rude. I had a supervisor call me back. I told her I called on Sunday 12/6 and a employee talked to me like a dog. Instead of fixing the problem and shipping me what I ordered supervisor said she'll go listen to the calls and call me back one to two days when today's Tuesday my party's on Saturday. There are a few items I want to order however due to the inconsistency of the sizing I'm Leary of ordering again. Also I have received notification that my return was received however it's not reflected on my billing so I think I'll be holding off ordering from Venus any time soon. I have ordered a few times now. I am sitting here and reading all those reviews and wondering are we talking about the same website. Everything that I have ordered came in correct size (if you use size chart), I am M size, sometimes S, depends on style. Plus material shown in pictures is absolutely the same that was shipped to me. And I am ordering more. So sad that there is a lot of people complaining. I am happy and I have no bad experience with Venus.

Bought the tuxedo pants. I ordered my normal size and the pants came in huge.
The box came with a return label. I returned only to be told it would not be replaced with a smaller size and no credit would be given. So I basically gave them back the product they can now resell and I am out the money and the item.

Purchased items on 11/14. On 11/16 it still was not shipped. They said they would ship by 2 days delivery. Did not happen. Today is 11/22. I still don't have the items and UPS showing they have been in CA since 11/16. Called multiple times. Reached ut to CEO. NOTHING.
The quality of the items is usually not great. Shoes are safe to buy but clothes... made cheaply, quality is not there. 500% of the time i have to return. Prices are too high for this type of clothes and sevice

Venus clothes look great on pictures only, when the product arrives it's very cheap sometimes very thin see through material, I would understand this if the quality fitted with the price but it doesn't.
I have been buying from Venus for years and it took me some time to stop, too many clothes that went to garbage because I'm in Canada and it's not worth it to ship it back, so much money waisted but it finally stopped I found better companies to order from where most clothes are made in Canada and not China!

I been calling for 4 weeks for a refund. Customer service continues to say its processing & up to 30 days. I will never make another purchase from this site

I don't trust a lot of online websites, but I have to say that Venus is one of my favorites. They have clothes for all dress styles at fair prices, especially if you take advantage of the constant deals, I have two orders on the way. Most of the items I have ordered have been great, and the few returns I've had have been processed with no problem. I love Venus and I am a loyal, satisfied customer.

On occasion I get an item of clothing that doesn't look much like the photos take this sweater for example. In the photos in the magazine and on the website, when it's on the model it shows it being a very lush furry type of sweater. Unfortunately mine looks like a hairless dog with a few little straight fur things sticking out of it. I still love the sweater but I'm just pointing this out. Also I noticed I have to order three hole sizes bigger when I buy closed-toed shoes. I just ordered a pair of booties in size 10 when I'm an 8 and 1/2 and they're still too small. With all that being said this is still the only store besides etsy that I buy clothes from. I will continue.

I bought a sweater dress and another dress and returned the sweater dress due to poor quality of the item. I returned it, and was only given a refund for $41 (when I paid $54). When I called their customer service hotline, I was informed they charged me for SHIPPING the item back to them for a return. NOWHERE does it say that on their website or return policy. Incredibly dishonest company! Also, what kind of company does that?! Not many companies charge you for return shipping. Dishonest, cheap and horrible company.

I couldn't find anywhere on the site to leave a review. My first time ordering and the clothes look cute online and seem to have good reviews online. Two of the three dresses i ordered were super cheap fabric. One dress i could see through it, it was so thin. Definitely was not worth $39. Target has better quality for that price. I kept one dress ( i had to regardless since it was a final sale) but luckily it was the best of the bunch. Probably wouldn't order again. Based on reviews, now I'm afraid of my return. GUESS WHAT, AFTER 2 WEEKS I CONTACTED THEM TO SEE WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY CREDIT, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY REFUNDED ME. THE AMOUNT WAS LESS THAN WHAT I PAID FOR THE ITEMS. INSTEAD OF $74.31, I GOT BACK ONLY 65$. THEY SAID THE SHIPPING IS FREE, BUT THE RETURN NO. THIS IS FRUSTRATING, WHY TO WRITE ON INVOICE THAT THE RETURN IS FREE, WHEN ACTUALLY IS NOT FREE.
I OPENED A CLAIM WITH MY BANK, SEE HOW IT GOES.

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
