Thankfully I had a good experience unlike other reviewers. My dress arrived within 5 days and was good quality! The only thing I will say is that the color looks nothing like pictured. Looks blue but does SAY mint which it actually is! I was fine with either so didnt matter to me but the color definitely was deceiving. Id shop here again!
Don't order from here ever. It has been such a NIGHTMARE. I ordered a package three weeks ago and was really excited to receive it the other night. When I opened it I discovered that inside was none of the products I had ordered and actually contained someone else's name and order form! Yet my name and address were on the outside of the package. How does that even happen? I called customer service and they were super understanding or so I thought. The man told me had upgraded my package to overnight shipping for free so that I would get it the next day... two days go by and nothing. I call again and the woman says that despite what that man said he never submitted for another package to be sent and that she could send one out to me and have it there a week later. Furious I said no I was told it can be upgraded to overnight shipping for free and she responded oh yes I can do that as well. Three days later and I still have not received my package. Cute suits for good prices but it is not worth all of this I will never order from here again. Here's to hoping I receive my package at some point!

The clothing isn't half bad, but in the event of returning something, they do not pay for the return shipping. I tried exchanging something, they didn't have my item in stock so gave me a partial refund... I won't shop with them again. I'll shop elsewhere!

I ordered some dresses then several swimsuits. The dresses were not impressive. I also had a very hard time finding. A bikini top that fit me. I ordered my bra size and they were huge. I combined the 2 orders into one package to return. I kept each order separate and sent paperwork with each. I used their return postage and expected the deduction from the returns. Although I was hoping they would only deduct from one order, no such luck. But what was unexpected was they ADDED shipping charges for shipping the items to me in the first place! I used a free shipping promo and they made me pay shipping when I returned. That is a deal breaker for me. They sell overpriced, ill fitting polyester, add deceiving practices and I am gone.

ORDERED A SHIRT 3 WEEKS AGO - HOPING FOR A MEMORIAL DAY PARTY ATTIRE. WHEN I CALLED SUNDAY 5/27 THEY SAID OOPS ITS ON BACK ORDER - MAYBE MID JUNE - VENUS NEEDS TO UP THE CUSTOMER SERVICE EARLIER RATHER THAN ME CALLING TO FIND OUT THEY SCREWED UP
We apologize for the confusion. Our system has different order numbers for backorders and the original orders. When your original order was placed, it had a standard order number. When it is converted to the backorder, the system "resolves" the original order number by marking it as "shipped". As a result, the actual order has not shipped; the system just converted your reservation of the item on backorder to its own order number.

Paid express shipping - 15 days later no parcel goes into trace. Between account specialist who pick up the phone and answers email and the tracing department - no one has any idea what is going on there. Arguing with me that I did not pay for express shipping when it is on the invoice.
Order has now been deemed lost - waiting to go through the nightmare of getting a refund! - Very bad service - waste of time!

Horrible shipping practices and customer service is clueless. I'm still waiting for a dress i ordered for a wedding that never arrived. Customer service said "the order shipped on the 21st, but it's still in Jacksonville..." That's not quite shipped is it now?
Either way, the items I ordered are now useless and I now anticipate a refund request nightmare. What happened Venus?... I've ordered from you guys a few years ago and orders were received in the time frame expected, and in Canada too! I see this company going out of business soon because you can't keep their commitments to their customers. I definitely won't be falling for this trap ever again. Make it right Venus!

Everything about my experiences was horrible! I even gave them 3 chances. Wrong items, clothes falling apart after wearing it once, items never showing up and customer service that is non existent! Please do not put yourself in a horrible position.
I ordered 3 items back in January for a trip in Feb. My three items arrived however one was wrong and a size 3x (Im a size 10). I called and the really nice man said keep the item and donate it to charity and they would ship me the correct item immediately within 3 business days in time for my trip at no charge. That same day I had to pay $17 in duty fees as I live in Canada before the item would be shipped. Well lo and behold nothing ever arrived. So numerous emails later they refunded my duty fees but not the refund for the dress. So I emailed again and again. They are prompt in returning emails Ill give them that but terrible at issuing refunds. I felt like they were hoping I would just go away and let them keep my $36 US dollars. In any event after hounding them I finally got my refund. This was my first experience with Venus and although I loved the two correct items they shipped me I dont have the patience to ever go through this again. Ill keep shopping Canadian!

I ordered a large order and had to send everything back. Poor quality. I refused to pay their ridiculous shipping (return) fees and am now put with one of their shark creditors who call me 10 times a day to have me pay the high shipping fees. NEVER! They are crooks!

I have ordered a few things now. Some for my daughter and some for me. We both love the quality of the clothing and it fits true to size. I also have a friend ordering from this site. Some stuff can be back ordered but they make sure you know before you place your order. Highly recommend this site and I will definitely be ordering more as well as telling other people! I bought the blue long sleeve hooded sweater. I'm about 5'4" and 122 pounds. The sleeves on the small are so long I have to roll them up. It looks like an old sweater that has been stretched out. I wanted to leave a review on the site but couldn't figure out how. I also bought white capris and shorts that I do like. The sweater is awful. Can't believe the positive reviews on the site for this.

I purchase clothes online and have for years. This is the first time Ive had so much trouble! Ive been waiting for my refund since May 4 th and they still respond with this 3-5 days bs! Its May 17th and Venus owes me 156$ which I doubt Ill ever get back. Their customer service reps sound awful. I asked her if my refunded was processed she said uhhuh. No consideration no manners just awful. So I asked to speak with a supervisor and the supervisor told me on May 11th that the refund had been processed to wait 3 business days. That was Friday and its now Thursday. When I emailed customer support just now they told me to wait 72 hours... I can tell time but can they? Just an awful experience.
After writing this they asked for my customer number and replied with the number..., still waiting.,.
I emailed them again and still the same bs... they must have prewtitten rebuttles because its literally the same thing.
Its friday the 18th now and still no refund... STAY AWAY!

I have been ordering from Venus.com since 2014. Everything I've bought is of good quality and fits true to size. I returned a dress that I did not like once with no issues. However, I have to admit that I always read the reviews of a specific piece before ordering.

Ordered something for my wife and paid for expedited shipping to arrive by mother's day. 2-day shipping, which has turned into 5 day shipping because they delayed shipping my order. I paid for 2nd day air, and tracking clearly shows it's being shipped via ground. Should arrive today so I can't review the product, but don't be in a hurry to get your order. Also, customer service has been less than accommodating in getting at least a credit back for the expedited shipping.

It's been a month, and I did not get my refund on my return. When I contacted customer service through the online chat system, the agent simply just copied and pasted a generic answer, and said "We have not received your return, sorry for the inconvenience. Is there anything else I can help you." I know she copied and pasted because she pasted it twice.
Well, she did not even try to help. I know I typed in my name and email before the chat started, with which she probably could have looked up my order, but she did not ask about anything, and simply pasted her answer. Her answer made me feel like she just wanted me to go away. I guess I am just going to pretend it's lost money. Do ever shop here.

HORRIBLE COMPANY, THEY DON'T CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS OR THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL. THEY HAVE SENT ME WRONG ITEM, INSTEAD THE ONE I HAVE ORDERED, BY THE TIME IT GOT TO ME, THE ITEM I WANTED WAS SOLD OUT IN MY SIZE, ALL THEY SAID "SORRY" AND I HAD TO SEND THE WRONG ITEM BAC AND WAIT FOR TWO MONTHS FOR THEM TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK FOR THE MISTAKE THEY'VE MADE. THIS HAPPENED TO ME A FEW TIMES WITH VENUS. SO I SWITCHED THE STORES AND DON'T SHO[P THERE ANYMORE. THE CLOTHES 50%50 QUILITY SOMETIMES YOU GET LOW QUALITY JUNK AND THEIR REFUND POLICY IS HORRIBLE. Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens. Just because I am 53 does not mean I want to dress "old". LOVE Venus clothes. Their returns are fine too, I found them easy and friendly to work with. Hope this helps. Smiles, Joanne
