I ordered blue dress, need it for today. Received yesterday... and. O. my. Instead of dress there was wrong item shipped - cheap and ugly top, of course I ran to the UPS and returned package immediately. But. No dress for today and I still don't understand why Venus don't fix they own mistakes and why in this particular case I have to pay for return shipping and I paid for other shipping too. Other companies at least return money for shipping if they make mistakes... And customer service is terrible also... they don't care!
Buyers beware if you buy any items from Venus you have to pay for shipping but if you do a return for a refund You will not get back the tax and shipping you paid for the item just the amount of the item plus they charge you 6.95 for using their label to send their item back to them. So they take more then enough of their share of money, venus is greedy and will never buy from them and I will be letting all those who I know that buy from them to not even use them, their clothes are way to big and loss anyways, Ill just go to the malls and get better fitting and quality clothes.

I ordered three items from venus. I was not satisfied with any of them. My swim suit top was too big and the bottoms were too small. I used their size chart and it was not correct. I also ordered a tank top and the design in the catalogue was not what I received. I returned the merchandise right away; however, I was out the $15 in shipping they charged me for the junk they said was suppose to be clothes Do not buy from this store it is a scam!

As a first time buyer I purchased 3 clothing items from Venus. Sizes aren't accurate at all. I sent back items requesting a refund on 2 items and an exchange on the third for a larger size. It took 2 weeks to receive an email stating their apologies for not having my requested item in stock. A subsequent email stated they were processing my refund but I was responsible for the shipping, and they charged me $6.95. To add insult to injury, they deducted another $4.95 for a shipping adjustment because my charges no longer were in excess of $100. Worst policy ever which they bury in their fine print. So if you want to gamble $11.90 or more of your money for nothing (not even a credit towards a future purchase), you've been warned.

I bought a dress and some shirts back in 2015 and they all didn't fit right but because I was busy at work I didn't bother to return them. This month I decided to buy 3 items from them of course the sizes are not right either too small or too big I made the mistake of mailing them back using the package label that was sent with the items and now I have been waiting 10 days with nothing showing on my account as a return and I just got off the phone with customer service who I called for the second time and they are so NOT helpful and have an attitude for absolutely no reason. I'm a very patient person because I'm a nurse and I never have problems communicating with anyone but today I felt like I'm not allowed to finish a sentence without the customer service lady interrupting me! Hope my items get processed soon but never ever again!

Getting the correct swimsuit has been a huge hassle with this company. They offer swimsuits sized to match your bra instead the standard S/M/L sizes which I thought was great! I went ahead and ordered a 32DDD top since that's my bra size. What I received was a monster bra. Seriously, their sizing is totally bogus. Whoever sized these swimsuits has no idea how bras work. Like they saw "DDD" and thought "let's make it huge, DDD means huge right?!" I attached a photo for reference of my black 32DDD bra against the 32DDD swim top they sent me. Seriously? That is not even REMOTELY the same size. So I filled out the form to exchange the item. You have to pay to ship the item back to them, which is pretty bogus in my opinion. Your swim sizing is totally wrong and I'm supposed to pay to ship it back when it doesn't even remotely fit right? Yeah... cool. Listen, when your sizing is this bad, you need to reimburse customers for the return shipping. There is no way anyone can order a swimsuit off this website and get the correct size on the first try...
So I filled out the form and tried to exchange the 32DDD for a 32DD. I got my package today and opened it up to find... a 32DDD. So to top it all off they managed to also mess up my exchange and send me the exact item I was trying to return. So I talked to customer service and HOPEFULLY they are sending out the 32DD this time. However their sizing chart is so messed up, I'm not even sure the 32DD will fit right! I will update with how the 32DD fits!

God forbid that you have to return anything or somehow a statement is incorrect because it was issued between the time of the return and generation of the statement. Venus / commenity bank still expects you to pay the shipping and then you have to contact two separate customer services department to resolve your issue. One blames the other, it's terrible - don't buy from them and avoid the hassle. You've been warned.

I ordered a dress and earrings and they sent me a 2 piece bathing suit instead. When I called their customer service center they informed me that the dress I ordered was no longer in stock. REALLY! What I don't understand is why they sent something that I did not order, instead of refunding my money. They promised that I will have my money in my account within 3 business days. Hopefully they refund my money, because I will not hesitate to take this matter to the courts.

Venus used to be my go to for dresses and bathing suits. Now, however, the quality is crap! The sizes are not true and the materials seem super cheap. Will never order from them again.

Clothes used to be of good quality but now are cheaply made. I even received a used swim suit cover up. They put my email address as my shipping address on not one but TWO of my orders! Just terrible

I love this website, I usually read all the reviews to figure out what size I should buy. I am a medium but I also buy small and large. You can figure out also by the look of their models, if it seems big on them, I always go small, if it's tight I buy large. Also pay attention at the description, see the content of spandex etc. I know how to sew, so I will tailor whatever is not perfect. I love their clothes, they are different. I buy lately only from them, the quality is good towards great. I shop online exclusively, I rarely return something. You have to take your time and research an item, figure out if you will truly love it and if the style fits you. You can figure out the quality of a product from small details. Awesome experience, I get only compliments for their clothes.

I've ordered several items from Venus.com; usually during the summer while preparing for vacation. This time I ordered a maxi dress and a 4th of July outfit for my daughter. When it arrived I pulled the items out one by one and was very disgusted by what I held in my hand. Attached to the packaging of the dress was what appeared to be a used tampon. Upon further examination I chalked it up to be a used bandage perhaps from someone who may have cut and wrapped their finger. Either way it was very nasty, unsanitary, and disturbing. When I called to complain the representative simply offered a $25 gift card which definitely did not compensate for me having to touch the blood of one of their careless employees. Hopefully the matter will be discussed and resolved.

This will be my last time ordering from Venus. Both times I ordered I got the wrong things first then I have to redo everything again and Im paying for return. I ordered a swimsuit, dress and a bra and they today I received some xtra large pants. Entirely different things. Very very disappointed. Never again

Ordered a bathing suit tankini waist, ordered my size according to the measurement chart. It arrived quick, but when tried it on, fit improperly! Too big in bust, tight around band ( and itchy due to cheap material), but fit in the waist. Want to return it, but wont be refunded original shipping fee of 4.95. Can understand that. Plus charge 6.95 to return it! ($2 dollars more than original shipping?) Very disappointed in product and company return policy when dissatisfied!

I have been purchasing from Venus off and on for a number of years, since I received my first catalog. I kept the catalogs in my studio for my customers to look at, and many of them have also become Venus customers. We all decided to stop ordering because there was always some mishap, late delivery, or extra charge. Much of the clothing was of poor quality and see-through and often it costs less to keep the items than to ship them back. The customer service people have no power to help with any problems. I have removed the catalogs from my studio and will suggest to anyone who asks that they not take the chance to order from Venus. I apologize to anyone who listened to my promotion of this company - I was mistaken!

I just received a Henley tank top, bust area was too small, top was $17.00 it would cost $6.95 to exchange it, totally ridiculous! When I called they advised me to go to the post office and maybe that would be cheaper, so that makes no sense to do catalog shopping! So if I exchange or return its not worth it! Time to find another catalog to order from!

I ordered two dresses from Venus and they arrived in good condition. They are as depicted in the catalog. One is super cute and the other Ill return, but I had an idea I wouldnt like the fit; its not flattering on me but its really pretty.

I was first introduced to Venus before my honeymoon (married 22 years now), when I ordered a couple of bikini bathing suits for the trip. I was hooked. I have never bought swimwear anywhere else since, and I buy most of my clothing there as well to this day. Their clothes are good quality, they're on point with the latest style trends, and their prices are very reasonable. They always have deals going too. The best thing about their swimwear is that for every color and pattern, there are several top and bottom styles to choose from, and you can mux and match to put together the bathing suit that you want. Their return process is easy, but I rarely need to use it because most of the clothes are true to size when it comes to fit. If you love wearing the hottest trends, but can't budget breaking the back for it, try Venus. You won't be disappointed. As I said, they have been my go-to place for clothes shopping for more than 20 years!

I never order clothes online because I am a curvy girl. I ordered 3 dresses from Venus and really like all of them. Before I chose the three dresses I read the reviews of people who had purchased the dresses. I also looked at the type of material and the size guide. After reading reviews on this site I was hesitant about my purchase but now that it arrived I am very happy.

I ordered one romper, and one dress from Venus. Both felt like I had picked them up at the local dollar store, and the dress even had a stain on it... as if someone had already worn it. I received it yesterday, and sent it back today. It seems the return shipping and whole process is gonna be a nightmare. What a waste of my time. The clothes look really cute in the magazine, but looks are definitely deceiving! Dont waste your time or money with this company. I even read reviews on the items I had purchased before buying, and they were good. Then when I received the cheap crap, I tried to go post a review on the actual site and it wont let me do it at all. I think their reviews are filtered, and fake because neither of the outfits I purchased were of any quality at all!

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens. Just because I am 53 does not mean I want to dress "old". LOVE Venus clothes. Their returns are fine too, I found them easy and friendly to work with. Hope this helps. Smiles, Joanne
