I just started purchasing from Venus.com like a month ago, and so far I've had to return multiple orders. Their sizes are wrong, jumpsuits run too big on the top, but worst of all, the quality of the material they use for their clothing is really POOR. It's a shame, because the products look beautiful, but the material is the worst. Won't buy ever again from it.
I have been ordering from this site for a couple years. I find the quality to be just fine for the price point. The sizing in clothing has been spot on for me. On the occasion I don't like something returning is easy and it clearly states you will be charged $6.95 for shipping label. No biggie and worth the convenience in my opinion. On the off chance I have a question and dealt with customer service they were always cordial and helpful. My orders always arrive in a timely fashion and I am always immediately notified if there is a delay or backorder. I would highly recommend the clothing and swimwear from this company.

Their sizing inconsistent (even with the same jeans - but in differnt colors).
I went through 2 different exchanges with 1 pair of jeans - only to accept that their size 3 is really a size 1 and any size bigger is actually 2 sizes bigger. Plus, some of their stuff is so cheap & flimsey.
The worst part is that I signed up for the credit card (they practically throw it at you at check out). Don't be fooled by this. They use the credit card to deny you any credits (or will delay your credits), then charge you late fees and interest fees - even if you have a credit balance on your card.
I've already filed a complaint with the FTC consumer credit dept for fraudulent charges by them. I ended up just paying their fraudulent charges, than risk lowering my credit score (if I didn't pay).
I will NEVER BUY from this horrible company ever again - BE FOREWARNED - THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF!

Their clothes are nothing like the pictures on the website... they're different material and a very different fit, and I have pretty much the same body type as the models on the website. So I returned what I bought which had costed $22 and they only refunded me back $8. Like what type of scam...? How are you going to send clothes that are completely different from what you advertised and then keep over half of the money when I send it back? Absolute idiocy.

I have tried twice now to order. The first time I made the mistake of pushing 1 if I'm over 50. DO NOT do that. It comes on with a sales spiel for health insurance. Second time there is some other sales spiel. I am at work and not in the mood to sit on hold pushing 1 for this and 2 for that. Let me order my stuff and be done, so frustrating. Have emailed them and "live chatted" asking for them to call me. NO RESPONSE. I have ordered a LOT of stuff from them in the past but now it is saying my email is "not registerable" and I have no way to find my old customer number.

I bought 4 dresses, 2 different styles and 2 were the same style, different sizes. Only one dress looked good so I needed to return the 3. I was surprised to find out it cost $6.95 per dress to return even though they were being returned together. It cost me $21.00 to return dresses that cost $22.99 each. I would have never bought anything knowing this. My bad for not reading all the text on returns which is thoroughly buried on their web site.

I was very hesitate about buying a bathing suit on line, especially after reading some reviews. I am about 5'5 and average to petite build-my order fit me to a T. My order included 3 bathing suits and two cute dresses. Purchased everything in a size small. ( bikini tops 34B) The quality was decent and the product came exactly what was advertised. The only down side was the border fees which were about $30. Given all of my purchases were $20.00 or less, I didn't mind the additional fees.-I still got a good deal. If you are paying regular prices, it might not make sense to buy anything given the extra charges you will incur...

Clothing is made of cheap material: it looses shape and will pill quickly. Trust me; you will be annoyed at those fuzz balls and it's because Venus Swimwear clothing is made up of synthetic fibers that are cheaply/loosely woven. Walmart quality. You should either wash clothing by hand, turn them inside out to avoid friction or buy a razor and find yourself always de-pilling your pieces. Next, you'll battle with clothing that also loses its shape. Sorry but this brand of clothing just isn't worth it.
The bathing suits are a grade better, so you may just want to stick with swimwear.

I've purchased numerous items over the years and I had recently one bad experience. This was my first time buying shoes from them and it was cheaply made! There's absolutely no support for the sole of the shoes. When I received them the soles were completely detached from the shoes. After speaking to customer service they said they would replace the shoes. When I received the new package it was not the same shoes and it was the wrong size. I spoke to customer service again and asked for a refund after shipping the shoes back. I have an email saying that the shoes were received, however I still have not gotten my money back. I'm not too concerned with the money I'm just a little disappointed with the company because I've been a customer for years and some of my favorite dresses are from Venus.

I've only had to return items twice in the 3+ years I've been buying and that was for size. I love everything I have from them. My items come quickly and as described. I don't understand all the negative reviews. You just can't please everyone, I guess.

I bought worth $200 clothes from them, was fascinated by their style and price. When they arrived it appeared cheap and totally out of fit. I returned all of it. The good thing is that they shipped quickly and also refunded the money without any hassle. Not for me for sure.

I like to buy my wife cloths. I almost exclusively use venus. Cloths generally fit as described. Some things she did not like on her and we returned without issue. I generally buy about $1200 to $1500 of products each year.

Venus has some cute clothes if you can live with the so-so quality. But customer service and inventory control is generally lacking. Several times I've had backorders canceled by them, saying the items are no longer in stock. I then check the website and the items ARE in stock in the size/color I ordered. Pretty annoying. No excuse for this with computers to handle orders and inventory.

I paid for my dresses and they have never arrived. They told me that they were re-shipped and still nothing... this was over four months ago. They offer a tracking system that is a joke and will always say that the shipment is in the system ready to ship... This site is a complete scam and they draw you in with pretty designs with your definite order in mind and then nothing... stay away!

I paid addition money for faster shipping... to get the shoes by New Years... well guess what? Two weeks later today they came in! Not only did they come in but when I put them on they were the cheapest product with like an inch extra in back when I am a perfect 8.5! Ordered a sweater for my daughter Dec 12th, told it was back ordered. Received an email it's in! Waiting, nothing. Emailed Venus, told it was being shipped in 24 hours. Checked tracking, nothing. Emailed Venus today, Dec28th, this time I'm told it was going through quality inspection! Emailed Venus again, nothing but the run around. Maybe Sasha, the CEO should see how Venus deals with their customers! I also work in retail, let's be honest with our customers. If you don't have the merchandise, don't keep stringing along.

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
