I ordered 3 items for the first time from them and maybe I just got lucky, but all of them fit great. The material is a breathable and stretchy fabric. What I saw on the website is exactly what I got. Only complaint I have is 2 of the 3 items I bought have clasps on the peice that goes around your neck, and they are pretty difficult to work with.
In a world where online shopping has become a norm, Venus is so behind the times in their return policies. They offer free shipping on orders over 100, and if you return any items they deduct the cost of the free shipping' from your credit in addition to the cost you incur to return. Just not worth it as bathing suits often require multiple iterations to find the correct fit and their suits are very pricey so it's easy to spend over 100 on an order. This subtracting the original free shipping is sneaky and absurd for business given the many other online options that offer free shipping and free returns. I was a long time customer but no longer since they started this sneaky free shipping/ not free business. Too many other online choices with free shipping that is actually free even if you return items. Their customer service does not seem to care about dissatisfied customers either.
I saw a review/haul video on YouTube and the clothing they sell really caught my eye.
I ordered $200 worth of items and waited about a month for them. I live in Canada. I chose my usual sizes, and checked the sizing charts in the event of any discrepancies. To my disappointment, the sizing is way off. The quality is cheap. For a plus sized t-shirt, I was surprised that it sat at my bellybutton. The romper I purchased was way too big, as were the pants and tank top. Everything says it was made in China and the material and quality is what you'd likely find purchasing clothing from a dollar store. I won't worry about the hassle of returning them, I will give them away but lesson learned. Read all the reviews before you order.

Had a horrible experience after dealing with them for years and then this happened. I placed an order for my wife. The sale went through but then somehow did not complete on their end. Order never arrives, I ask my wife if it got here yet and she says no. Check the account, no order, call customer service and the college girl on the other end says well that is your responsibility. I said my wife is leaving for vacation without her order, items are not in stock now and after years of buying from you your answer is oh well so sorry. I said in my company if my website was not reliable I would be doing everything I could to save that customer and firing my IT director.
Blew me off and said oh well. Worst customer service ever. Wont go back to them again... AWFUL!

Booties I purchased were a bit too big, so I saw that a smaller size was available on the site and placed the order over the phone. I didn't want to mail in and use the exchange form because I was afraid they would sell out of my new size. After I received the email that my new order was processed, I shipped the too-big shoes back. Two days later, I noticed my smaller size order got 'cancelled' when I looked at my order history! They were out of stock, but hadn't updated their website. So it showed the smaller size was there but it really wasn't. I would have *never* mailed back the larger size had I known I would not get the smaller size. The customer service manager gave me a $10 store credit, and said he would try and intercept the return once received, and mail them back to me. ***UPDATE*** I got the bootie I wanted today! Their customer service has been spectacular. They Answer the phone promptly, are friendly, and do what they say they are going to do! Thanks to the customer service manager for making this happen. I am so happy.

Venus clothes are so Lovely I'm very statuesque amd Venus clothes show off my physique in a very complimentary way. I always get complements from men amd women. I have never had a problem with a return the customer always get a 5 which is the highest rating I have spent thousands of dollars with Venu. Love there clothes

I have been a loyal customer for many years. In Oct 2019 I was out of town on business and did not receive my bill. I was a week late paying and they turned me into the credit bureau WITHOUT WARNING or NOTIFICATION. It dropped my score by 90 pts. I will not be a part of this type of behavior toward loyal customers.

I wanted to purchase the Cold shoulder ribbed top size L color mint. It showed that it would be available for purchase as of the 17th of April. But it already sold out way before. This was 2 1/2 weeks ago. I called customer service and they said it was no longer in stock. And that they don't know when It will be back in stock. They said to keep checking online to see when it was available. Still says it's no longer available. Very disappointing.

I just bought 2 bathing suits and spent around $120 because my past Venus swim suits were of good quality. But these new ones are not. I bought 2 skirted bottoms and waist of TAHITI FLORALS(THF) is sewn inside out not like the web photos at all, horrible. And the other BLOSSOMING BRIGHTS(BMB) has good waistline but white bottoms underneath looks like cheat diaper, I have 20 skirted bottom and non are white or totally different than outer pattern. I love the top patterns though. The tops are great but with the bottoms so bad not sure what to do, non returnable. So Sad

I ordered a medium. I am 5'6 and 145 and the fir was big but I like larger loungewear. The quality is not the same as shown on the picture. The lining was sort of see-thru ish. Ok for home wear but I would not wear this outside the house

Their sizing is way off. I am a true to size medium. Even when looking at the sizing charts on the venus website
I would be considered a medium. I ordered clothing for my mother (3 dresses and a romper) all in size smalls. THE SIZE SMALLS WERE WAY TO BIG ON ME. Which means that I would need extra small to fit my medium frame!? I live in Canada and shipping back is ridiculous. Do NOT buy from them unless you want clothes that do NOT fit.

There swimsuits are decent for the most part... I have a hard time finding suits that fit my bottom correctly. There clothing on the other hand... I ordered a size 10 pant that fit perfectly in the thighs, which is where I'm largest, and the high waist band was meant for someone who is a size 4. I couldn't breathe and couldn't sit down without severe discomfort. I am not a "fat" person. I'm a little heavier but I workout regular and have a nice hour glass shape. There's no reason why a size 10 shouldn't have fit when every other pair of pants I have that size fit well or on the larger side. Pissed that I have to waste more shipping fees THIS IS MY THIRD EXCHANGE. I think I'm done with Venus.

Never buy from this company! They say they accept "free" returns, but they don't honor/accept returns from Canada. I found this out AFTER a HUGE run-around. They didn't include a return label with my invoice (which apparently was supposed to be included), so I had to email them for the return label. They gave me one and I sent my sweater back TWICE and BOTH TIMES they sent it back stating "no invoice" when there was an invoice. The second time, someone (whether it be them, or the carrier - they claim the carrier) had the audacity to take the receipt out of the bag, re-tape the bag and stick it on the outside and mailed it back to me! I tried to contact Venus by phone and email multiple times and nobody got back to me. Not until I posted this review (the first bad review I have ever posted in my life, I might add). They emailed me (again, after blaming the carrier. But why was my package ACCEPTED by the carrier twice, after scanning? It was apparently a valid label?) and said they don't accept free returns from Canada. That is fine. No problem. But why the fiasco then? Why give me a label to begin with (when they knew I was from Canada), if they don't ship to Canada? Why make the excuse that it was because I didn't include the invoice when I did? And why blame the carrier and advertise on their site "free returns"? After posting this review, they did contact me to apologize for the inconvenience and offered me a $10 coupon, because they don't offer free returns from Canada. After driving 80 minutes per trip to the carrier and the "run around" story about why my sweater was returned, etc. I decided to gift the sweater, as I will never be a return customer again. Had they handled the situation professionally and honestly, I would, as after all, mistakes do happen and they do have beautiful clothing.

I've ordered once before from Venus. Dress came quickly and no issues. Today I felt I was a victim of bait and switch. Long story short - received an email for 30% off one item. Dropped 2 items in my cart -a jumpsuit and a dress. The sale price of the jumpsuit was listed as 24.99 / 17.49 with the 30% off; dress 29. First problem why not take the discount off the more expensive item. Clicked back because I wanted to look at another item. When I went back to the cart. The jumpsuit was 39.00 and the discount would not apply to either item. Opened a chat. No help. She offered to order at the higher prices, I said no thanks and expressed my concerns about the higher prices being returned. Something very odd!

I ordered the Y*******-12-OLMUCOLOR CAPRI JEANS in camo last week. They just came today and I am LIVID! In the picture the capris on the model are skinny fit with the waist coming right below the bellybutton and the legs of the capris being tight around the calves, which is what I wanted. Why do you post such false pictures of your products? I am a Curvy woman and ordered a size 12 under the impression that these were Skinny fit. I try them on and they look like board shorts my husband would wear at the beach. Baggy in the legs and the waist is over my bellybutton and I HAVE a LONG torso. These are the ugliest capris I have ever seen. It has happened 3x this year with ALL of your bottoms that I have purchased and have now returned. I follow the size chart and have stupidly relied on what I believe NOW are FAKE reviews because I haven't been able to review any of your products on the ACTUAL website. Consumer Beware of Venus.com they use False Advertising to get women to buy their cheap clothing. You would have better luck on Amazon.

Love this set wish you had more colors also like high waisted leggings capri perfect never disappointed
1. Clothes are very thin and made with cheaper materials
2. If you buy and return you will be charged $6+ for your return label AND $5 shipping for the original package that may have been free at the time of the purchase. I ended up paying $12 extra dollars bc of this.
3. Never buying from here again.
After a month of waiting for my order I contacted customer service. I was told 2 of my items were out of stock entirely and would I like the other item sent still or refund all the items. I of course wanted everything refunded because A. It was a month after me being charged and not receiving my items and B. You didn't have my items in stock and still charged me AND didn't even notify me of the items being out of stock. I have consistently had to contact them asking to issue my refund dating back to February 19th. I was told it was issued yet does not show in my bank account 2 weeks later. WILL NEVER PURCHASE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND
I placed an order for two swimsuits a month ago and the order is still showing as order received but it has not been processed. I emailed them to ask about this last week and haven't heard anything back. I emailed again today to attempt to cancel my order and get a full refund so we'll see how this goes. In general it seems fishy. I would not recommend ordering from this company.

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
