Twice I have ordered clothes from Venus. Waited 2 weeks for it to arrive only to receive and email saying out of stock. Second time received confirmation that item posted and on its way. 2 weeks later receive email unavailable. Why advertise items that are not in stock. Will not use again
The first order I made, I was very happy with. Cute, quality clothing, got a lot of compliments. The orders after that were not so great. Clothing was cheaply made, didn't fit at all like it appeared in pictures, even though I ordered the right sizes. The final straw for me was when I put in an order and they sent me the wrong blouse. I sent them 2 emails to notify them and asked for them to send the right blouse and size that I ordered and never got a response back. I'm done with them.

I was Leary at first and I admit I've bought a couple of real doozies but once you find your size, and the key is knowing your fabric... this is a great kept fashion secret! You find unusual fashionable clothing! I buy every month and the prices are great! I don't want to wear what everyone else is wearing, they're ahead of the times on some fashion. Bottom line... get to know your fabric and size and service as far as delivery... 5-10 days but you can pay and get sooner! I love this virtual store!

I wear a normal size American size 8 top and never have issues with sizing. I am 5'9,135 lbs. I was undecided what size to order so I ordered an 8 and a 10 as the top said it does not stretch, thinking I can always take it in at the waist if it is too big. The 8 was so ridiculously cut short and tiny and the ten was so short in length, and the bust sizing/seams were so high on my chest it was humorous. Clearly not American cut. The quality was very cheap as the fabric was a noticeably rough and raw. Beware! Picture not as appeared.

I will say Venus sizing is very consistent just follow the size chart. However the quality of the clothing is not what you would expect from the pictures. Sweaters are itchy, and most items are tee shirt material. If you live in Canada shopping here is a waste of money you will pay way more than mall prices. I would rather roll the dice on Wish.

Made a purchase of 22.00 which is far below the maximum allowed for duty free into Canada. Venus charged duties based on what? I asked for a refund they refused and stated that l should contact border services for refund. Ridiculous why would border services refund me when Venus pocketed the money. This is corrupt!

I ordered stripped bodycon mini dress but did not wear it immediately. I went to an occasion and I wore the dress and it was beautiful. There was no washing directions on the dress, I washed it in cold water in the wash machine.
When I went to put it on it was two sizes too small a week later when I called them up they said it's not returnable because it's after 90 days. Meanwhile they had to know the dress was poor quality and it shrinks and they would do nothing about it so my suggestion would be if you order clothes from them wash them immediately even if your not wearing..

The clothing looks incredibly tacky in the catalogue, and one can only hope it can't possibly be that bad when they order it. However, it is. Appalling and cheap clothing-choose to spend your money elsewhere.

I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!

Never received my order. First time I tracked the order it indicated delivered, but I never received it. Next time I checked it said my item was returned to sender. Looks like I'll never get my money back and/or I'll never get the dress I ordered... Learned my lesson.

I came upon these reviews as I pulled up the site to look at the winter clothes, and I was shocked. I've shopped here 10 years and love their stuff. Beware with this company. Their design and pictures look great in their catalog, but in reality, the quality of the overwhelming majority of the items I purchase was well below expectations. I purchased 5 tops and 3 dresses. I returned all but one dress. Unfortunately, my refund was much less than what I paid since they deduct shipping when you use their return label.
I will never buy from Venus again.

I've used the site for several years and found it to have good selection. Quality is not "top notch" but ok for the price. I have had incorrect items sent and found it too much of a hassle to send back. However my last experience with Venus will be... well my last experience with Venus.
Their processing makes no sense. My order showed as sent yet the fact my shipping address did not match my cc addresses meant they could not process. The notification came from "credit card services" and my computer thought that was scammy. I called and even though I still had 9 days before my vacation there was no way they could get the order to me - no expedited shipping to Canada possible.
Happily I found many other sites that seemed to care about customer services and offer fast shipping (at a price which is fine). As for addresses matching even though both are entered into the purchase information separately and indicated as such... well can't say I've come across that before in spite of this having been the case in respect of hundreds of purchases... including past purchases from Venus.
Neither the person taking my call nor the supervisor I asked to speak to had any sincere interest in the issues with their policies or of course my failed purchase.
There are lots of great on-line sellers out there - my recommendation is to find these and avoid Venus

Generally, when orders are held by Credit Card Services, this just means that the billing address provided does not match or that your ship to address needs to be verified by the card holder for your security. Unfortunately, we only have one shipping courier to Canada, BorderGuru. This shipping courier is generally able to deliver packages within 3-5 business days. Since, our only location is in Jacksonville, Florida, we do not have other method to have packages delivered to Canada in a quicker timeframe. We would love to make this right. If I could I would give them zero stars. They suck. I never received my order but they certainly received my money. This company is nothing but a scam! Don't buy from them. This will teach me to order anything I see on Facebook. Lesson learned.

Shocked to receive this gaudy cheap clothing. A yellow coat made of some type of fabric which would catch on fire if near a flame. A dress with buttons so obnoxious i cannot image wearing.
