Me and boyfriend sent them all of our textbooks in excellent like new condition and they kept them all, said they were "rejected" with no explanation. They are keeping books and not sending any money! I am soooo upset. There is no phone number for them except a voicemail I found in another blog. DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR BOOKS! Does anyone know of anything we could can do to get our books or money back or shut down this company? This is not right and cannot be legal!

Not meet their standards and I get no money and they
Are going to keep my book to recycle! Scam...
They are going to sell my book and did not pay a
Dime for it. Never use these people!

Awful, use another book seller! My textbooks arrived about 1 month after placing my order so I was unable to do assignments, making me 3 weeks behind in all my class work. After the first 2 weeks waiting for the books, I contacted their customer service via email (since there was no phone number available) to find out when the books were coming and potentially cancel my order. However, no one got back to me so I didn't know what to do. Tracking information was inacurate as well. Eventually the books came but not having the textbooks left me falling behind in my work and struggling to catch up for the entire semester.
Velore books shipping is horrible and so is their customer service! I would advise using a different retailer, even if more expensive. It's not worth the stress!

They said they issued me three different checks on Oct 30th they were sent out, still have not received anything. I really wish I would have researched them more before I sent them all my text books! I am so disappointed. I should have realized when they weren't publishing a phone number that its a hoax. I plan on reporting them to the BBB!

I usually don't write reviews but I'm just so angry especially since I'm a broke college student. I rented a textbook from valorebooks.com, received it very quickly but the book came to me in poor condition. There was obvious damage to the binding, a page was ripped out and shoved back in and there was plenty of writing/highlighting. I didn't think much of it, I just assumed that they knew of the condition bc why else would they send me the book. I desperately needed it since the class was quickly approaching, and plus the class was only 6 weeks long (I'm in an accelerated program). I returned it before the due date and received an email from them a week later stating that they were going to charge me FULL PRICE ($85)! They blamed me for the poor condition the book was in even though I returned it exactly as I received it. This goes to show that they do not keep track of the condition of their textbooks they are sending out and are blaming their customers for it! I wrote to them and they did nothing about, they could care less. I will never use this site again. Some advice: if you rent a book from them and it is in any condition but new then make sure you take pictures with dates so you have proof if ever needed.

DO NOT USE!
October 31, 2013

DO NOT USE! I was tracking my delivery online and was notified that my address was non-deliverable, which is odd because I live in a house and receive packages all the time. I tried contacting the shipping company and they said that Valore Books has it set up where they cannot provide me with that information, I have to contact Valore Books. After doing so they sent me on a wild goose chase to locate my 'correctly sent' package, having me call 30+ USPS stores to locate my package. When that didn't work, Valore Books told me to go to the USPS stores to locate my package. The USPS manager looked it up in the system and said that Valore Books never put my address on the package and they already sent it back to them, and that Valore Books was aware of this the whole time. Contacting Customer Service only got me a non-apology, blamed it on USPS and then refused to provide me with another book - I had to go back in and buy a new one and pay for a better shipping service myself if I wanted it. Do not be tricked - it is not worth it! Use Amazon or Textbooks.com

Valorebooks.com is the worse excuse for a middle man. Their shipping speeds barely equal that of the early American pony express. You pay the same cost of standard shipping and receive it weeks later than standard speeds. They're customer service matches that of a socially frightened robot. First they ask you to contact the seller for questions before contacting them. Once the seller never responds and you do contact valorebooks, they send you a response thats copied and pasted from their FAQ section on the topic of your concern and soes not address your particular problem or question. Never use this site. Chegg.com is a much better service oriented provider for book purchases and rentals.
