Because of the storm in late August/Sept I was unable to receive my book in time for class however they did let me know the date of arrival. It may have been the courier companies fault. I bought an additional one at the school store and when I received my book from Valore's contracted store I returned my school purchased book for full price.

Scammer site AVOID

This site is terrible, customer service is a joke that just dance around the issue. They dont care about you or your problem. Seller has 48 hours to accept order then 24 hours to ship it. I contacted the seller at 120 hours to cancel my order since my class started a week ago and thats how behind i was. Seller reads my message ignores that i want it canceled and creates a shipping label at 144 hours. At this point Valor books says the order is shipped (even though it isnt! Tracking number shows that only a label was created which can be done online) my book is still sitting at the sellers location and i am now screwed out of my money and probably the book(not that i need it anymore) because i called them all exactly what they are scumbags. Its not that hard to look at the evidence and agree with me but they refused to do that.so in short this site is terrible and i wouldn't in a million years recommend it to anyone.

Ripoff!

I rented a book for 1 semester and my son needed it for the next, I was told by the seller that it wouldnt be a problem and to contact Valore. Valore told me to send the book back but did not provide the shipping label. I contacted them on a Thursday and by Friday they had taken the cost of the book out of my account and would not refund it to me. They then told me to sell the book back to the company, I tried to only for them to tell me the book isnt worth anything at this point. So within 4 days the book went from being worth $140.00 to $0.00.

STAY AWAY

I tried renting a book from their site and it kept telling me my card couldn't be processed. The companu charged my card 6 times! I tried calling the number listed and every time get "congratulations you've won..." It's a total scam site & should be taken down ASAP

I rented two Campbell essential biology books from this thief, only for them to ship ONE of the books. I contacted this con-man through the "contact the seller" button 6 times with no response. I called directly to the main office only to receive help from a man that had absolutely no social skills what-so-ever. This man was stupid beyond belief and could not help me at all. It took 5 weeks to receive an e-mail from some associate in their "help" department, only to see a copy and paste response from her e-mail sent to the seller claiming they "thought" they sent both books, but only sent one. Now I am stuck paying for TWO books at full price over this disgustingly scamming seller that this website is harboring. This was my one and only time ever doing business with this website, never again. BE WARNED!

I ordered an anatomy book. I was sent an e-mail saying it was shipped. I waited the suggested 15 days to check on it. I was then told it was out of stock. I went weeks without a book and ended up ordering it from a reputable company.

It has been some time but I sold some books to them worth almost 500 dollars and they claimed they never received them and I go the run around for weeks before I got something. 100 dollars for my troubles. I really needed that money and that set me back. I am still upset about it.

Awful customer service. Talked to the rudest woman yesterday who would not help me at all. Refuses to help with a seller issue with a book that was never received and gave a bogus tracking number. Sellers don't respond. RUN! Better sites out there. Won't hesitate to spend a couple dollars more next time with a better website bookseller. No stars. Had a picture of one book and sent me another book and said it is a alternative book. To the one i need after sending the book back they do not want to pay for it to be sent back. All they will say is sorry and they will not do anything else. Avoid this site!

A fraudulent purchase was made on our bank card and I can get no help from Valore Books. All I get is a run around - 3 times I've called and 3 times been told a different story. I am past frustrated. That someone could use our card and charge $476.10 on it and Valore Books not assist us is the worst kind of customer service. I am beyond frustrated. I had never even heard of this company until it showed up on our bank statement. Obviously they do not care about fraud.

The customer service is atrocious. The exact description of my rental was "Fundamentals of Investing Plus NEW MyFinanceLab with Pearson eText --- Access Card Package (12th Edition)," yet no MyFinanceLab was included. The agent argued with me that it was not required to include it and refused to contact the seller. They don't list a phone number or any other way to contact them. It is like they are intending to mislead their customers, but they do not realize they will never get any continued business from all their angry customers.

This is due to the fact that many access codes are only valid for a one-time use. Although the title of the book may state that the supplemental material is included, due to copyright laws we as a company cannot legally change the title to say that the supplemental materials are not included. Don't waste your time

I ordered a book for my Spanish class on January 19th. I got an e-mail saying it shipped on the 19th as well. It is February 3rd and I have yet to receive the book. I never received a tracking number but when I logged into my account, there is a link for tracking which takes me to the ups tracking site and tells me that the number isn't found. I messaged the seller on Monday 2/1 and received no response. I contacted customer support for Valore 2/2 and stated I wanted a refund because it has been over 2 weeks, I'm failing a class because I'm unable to do my work and that I could ordered the book elsewhere and have it overnighted. The woman I talked to told me she messaged the seller and to wait to for a response. It is now 2/3 and still no response. I again contacted Valore and told them at this point I want a refund because I don't have the time to continue waiting on a book that may or may not come. Again, they avoided my request for a refund and randomly pulled a tracking number out of nowhere saying the book will be here on 2/5. I will never buy from this website again. I find them extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. I've spent $150 for a book that I don't have and am falling behind in a class I need to graduate because they are too incompetent to do their simple job of mailing out a book.

I ordered a textbook for my Maths class for over three weeks I am yet to get this book I made my first call to the call center and was told my wait time was still within the 14days per their policy.
So at about the 10th day after confirmation of the order which was like the 14th day after i made the purchase i requested a call again and was told by a disinterested agent that oh well its a third party book and they do not have control over third party sellers that put books on their portal to sell that i needed to contact the seller.
I was like OMG what kind of scam is this as this is my first time on their portal and payment was made on their portal anyway since i was given the analogy that they were like amazon i went ahead and contacted the seller via Valore books "contact seller page" the seller did not respond to my first request after 48hrs i sent another he responded with the " oh well book got missing and we will send another" i responded back saying i want my money back this is going to the 16th day i callled Valore again and a lady took all my details and said she i was gonna get a response if i dont i should call back in 24hrs the seller did not respond back i called again asking for the contact number, address or website of this seller and was told they do cant give it to me by a

Essentially, UPS will ship the book between large cities or across state. The package is then delivered to USPS for local delivery. After accidentally ordering a book I didn't need, I promptly contacted customer service (within 15 minutes of placing my order) to which they told me I couldn't cancel the purchase for a refund, but rather I'd have to wait for it to be delivered then pay for shipping back to them on the item. I received nothing but rude and patronizing answers upon contacting them about this. Order from literally ANYwhere else.
