I have made two purchases with utsav. The first was a cotton sari in 2014. I was very pleased with that purchase. However, I ordered a choli from them in 2015. When the choli arrived it was different from the one I had seen in person at an Utsav show and online. Different color, different brocade pattern, etc. I noticed the discrepancy upon opening the package, and contacted Utsav immediately. I asked for a return shipping slip, and a quick resolution to this seemingly simple problem. But instead of them handling this like any other normal company, I received an email telling me that the matter is being escalated to a manager who could help and to expect a response in 48-72 hours. Of course I never heard from anyone in that time frame, and so I would email re-detailing the problem, with the same reply... 48-72 hours. This went one for one month! Finally I opened a dispute in PayPal to get their attention, and to get a resolution. PayPal sorted it, but only after my failed attempts to reach anyone with balls at Utsav who was interested in solving the problem. Bottom line: I had a better online experience with Indus Diva, and will never shop with Utsav again because their lack of professionalism shows their interest in your money alone without quality or service to back it up. They will take your money, give you something you did not order (without consulting you), and leave you to clean up their mess. You are better off shopping somewhere else.

I ordered and paid for a lehnga choli and gave size specifications that was within range of the maximum measurements provided by utsav for the item. It was for a wedding and I placed order two months ahead think it gave me enough time should utsav have delays.

After 6 weeks utsav told me they did not have enough material (even though after a week the same item became available for sale on utsav website again). It ruined my wedding plans... A refund from utsav did not compensate for the inconvenience caused looking for an outfit within days of the event.

An earlier notice (within at least two weeks of receiving the order) from utsav would have been much appreciated.

This online company is incompetent and deceptive and really does not understand customer service/care.

I would not recommend shopping with Utsav. There are plenty other online shops selling Indian/Indo-western item with better quality and at reasonable price, such as indianroots.

I ordered a sari and they gave me a paper bag (paper bag is down)

They are INSANE! I ordered a men's kurta pajama on Utsav, and they sent me some random fabric in another color (very obviously the wrong thing). It took them many many email back and forth --they asked for pictures in one email, a description of discrepancies (!) in another email, and the order number (which I had already given them) in yet another email. Finally, they "figured it out." Their courier service had given me someone else's order and my order to this other person. They then had the nerve to ask me to ship what I received to their other customer and told me that they asked her to do the same. In other words they shared my personal information with a COMPLETELY RANDOM STRANGER without ever asking me if this was okay. This is entirely illegal. At no point did they offer to refund my order, despite the ridiculous mistakes they made. This is without a doubt the most unprofessional service I have ever received in my life. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY (if they can even be called that).

This site is really $#*! India's worst business hub. People should not buy from them. I bought two times lehanga and choil from them and honestly I should be said to all guys $#*!ing this $#*!s making bull$#*! business. This big $#*!heads, $#*! sucker and mother $#*!er. If they really want use my money then they should tell to me before purchased. This all staff is worlds $#*! staff they cant take any call from us any whatever we send email to them they never answer quick. After all I just suggested to all guys dont waste your time this UTSAV FASHION SERVICE thats worst. Waste of time and only waste of time

I order a Indian dress from utsav for a wedding and I was so upset when I opened the package. The dress was horrible. The quality is sooo cheap. The person who made the dress should get a new job, they can't sew. I spent so much money on the dress that I had no other choice but to wear it. Felt so ugly and cheap with the dress on. I will never wear it again. The dress was a far cheaper version of what was on the site. I don't know why they are fooling us with those pictures on their site. The clothing looks nothing like what is on the site. I will never buy Indian clothes online again. Trust me if you want nice quality Indian clothing but if from the store. These people are rip offs. I'm so upset.

This business is horrible. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Firstly purchased an item and arm and leg was mismatched... and it was not supposed to be customized just a regular 40 size. When I contacted them they said they would get back to me within 12 hours. Did not contact me and so i filed dispute with PAYPAL. As soon as a filed a fraud they said they would refund me a whole 5 dollars for by 80 dollar purchase which was 2 kummeez. 1 kummeez distroyed and 1 yet to be received after 2 months of waiting and keep geting phone calls from them. I said I would take legal action then they were so persistant on helping me get what I wanted during working hours. When I taked to them they wanted to charge me more money to ship second kumeez 3 months later. Still calling me so I had to block their number.

Dear Utsav, I ordered two anarkali suits and they were just amazing. They were not expensive at all and the quality seems to be good too. With online purchases, obviously, the items will not be exactly as you see on the screen but mine were and I absolutely love them! I am a big fan and have already awaiting for another suit soon! With all the negative reviews, I am sure the Utsav team has made some drastic changes to better themselves. I have had a great experience with them and will encourage others too order too. They are cheap and worth every penny when you are on a budget!

I had a really bad experience.The material is not as described and they put up pictures of clothes are made with what they state and send you similar products that are replicated on cheaper materials... also craftmanship is horrrible and so is customer service... never again... NEVER... buy from some other establised website.If you have friends tell you they had a good experience they are lying because they do not want you to know...

One and only one advise, do not buy anything from Utsav.

I have ordered two items. They sent me one and then telling me the other item is not available. I had to get the refund.

Second time, I have ordered two items and again they send me one and telling me the other one is not available. I told them to replace that with an equivalent item, they agreed but force me to pay shipping charge again which I already paid for the original order.

Not happy at all. I will never buy again from them

The order took too long to be shipped. We were charged extra despite paying for shipping up-front. The fabric looked much better online. And instead of making a blouse off the sari, they just added a ready-made blouse to the order that doesn't even match the sari, which makes you wonder why it took long to ship the order in the first place. Thanks, Utsav, for being so terrible to your first-time customer. I can assure you that I will never order from you again, and trust me, I will make it a point to tell every single person I know who needs to buy traditional clothes to not ever buy from you. You should have known how important it is to serve your customers with care, but since you so obviously don't care, we won't give a rat's hoot either.

Beware of fraud for shopping with UTSAVFASHION.COM. Once you place an order and even though ask to cancel right away they don't give you credit back and will force to keep the order. Or give you gift card. Don't trust them even after they promise you to credit back over phone they will issue gift card.

These are are a terrible business run on the basis of fraud and general disregard for customer's need. We have a wedding coming up in a couple of months and these guys are set to ruin it by sending a defective lehenga in the first place AND now informing us that our second choice cannot be made after agreeing to make it to customized measurements. We have no choice but to pursue legal recourse against them.
