Ok, so either FedEx or USPS employee is enjoying my missing Swiss Colony cookies and candy. I am so mad that no one is held responsible for a missing package. Really, did it just vanish! Someone at FedEx or the USPS are enjoying my goodies.
Update: Day three and still can't get any customer service. To get a live person on the phone means sitting on hold forever, they don't respond to emails, and the chat bot is a total waste of time.
They are still telling me my address isn't the correct address!

I tried to get a package redelivered. They won't let me sign the pink notice as I have always done. I found this out after spending half an hour on their automated phone system that can't understand anything I say, and just keeps sending me around in circles, and after going on the website for 15 minutes, where it says that the address where they hung the pink notice on the door isn't the correct address, even though it automatically put the number in the box when I entered my address! I finally told them to send the freaking package back and explain it to the seller why they have to refund my money!
USPS should be dismantled. I refuse to use them because they are so laughably unreliable...,...
In the last two weeks, a package wasn't delivered to me, and eventually lost, a utility bill was delivered to one of my neighbors, and my meds were also misdelivered. It takes about 10 seconds to verify you have the right address. Please do better!
I hope you all loose your jobs starting with that peace of crap that got nomanated by Biden.He is absolutely useless.I filled out a change of address,8 days later got a letter with a code,send that to usps,now I got a letter stating there was a problem. I took the letter to the post office,the agent tried to scan and that did not work.Filled out another change of address.Now I have to wait another 8-10 days for a letter with a code.I will send my bills to that SOB in the big chair collecting a big paycheck for being a blooming IDIOT
I got a message saying I my shipping address was incomplete? I know that's a lie, I just orders 4 other things from Amazon and got all of them! Please I'd like my blanket which is for a little kids Xmas
I sent my tax to IRS with registered mail and they lost it. IRS made me pay penalty for late payment and I sent the payment again with USPS registered mail and they lost it again. I was expecting a package and usps said they delivered but they did not. I have video recording of my house front door to prove that. So, I went to our post office to inquire. Not only they didn't help me, they were rude and acting like it was all my fault. These people are disgusting and just wasting people's money. They are a joke.
If my packages aren't sitting in Baton Rouge for days, they are shuttling across the country after sitting at a facility 30 minutes away! It's a constant nightmare when dealing with USPS!

If I could leave a negative million I would these people guarantee 1 day. And I have legal documents late to its destination due to their inconvenience! I'm in a custody battle and had one day for my papers to reach its destination and it's late because of these people
I recently had an interaction regarding a package I sent to family in Europe. We send each other gifts every other year, so this was far from the 1st time I sent them a package. As usual I hand wrote their address on the package. I have clear handwriting. The Postal employee miss read a #9 as lower case g and two letters in the street address were also misinterpreted. This resulted in the package being returned as undeliverable. When I went to pick up this package, I noticed this discrepancy in my written address and the postal employee's interpretation of the address. I was polite and asked for the Postmaster. He was unavailable so I got a supervisor who basically told me to go pound sand and if I wanted to pay to re-send the package I could pay another ($79.62) otherwise I could pick-up the package and leave. I asked when the Postmaster would be available and left my name and number for him to call me two different times. His name is Postmaster(James) at the Riverton, Utah and West Jordan, Utah post office. He never returned my request to call so I finally had to go in and was able to discuss this matter in person with P.M. James. He told me it was my responsibility to insure the employee transfered the address correctlyand that i had signed to accept all information was correct. I didn't recall being asked to verify or having signed that it was correct. He also told me the only way to re-send was to pay the ($79.62) again or to basically piss off. I took my package to the Midvale, Utah post office where I did pay again and was clear to the employee to re read the address to me to insure there was no confusion. He did and it was clear. He entered the information, I paid and there was no further verification of the address information. I believe the Postmaster James was not only rude, and condescending, but he also lied to me about the address verification. I believe Postmaster James needs to be demoted from Postmaster due to his lack of professionalism and accountability with the public.
Absolutely god awful. If I could leave no stars, I would. A full organization of incompetence. Anytime I ask questions, no one ever has answers for me regarding my package.
Rude. Didn't help at all. Told me to stop talking when I was asking questions. Got annoyed with me. Unreliable. Horrible. If they wanted people to use them more maybe get people with customer service skills.
The Chicago international center is a disaster. Shame on the USA! The world laughs when they see the Chicago USPS center! Scandalous slowness!
On 11/15/23, I received a text at exactly 1:17 stating a package was delivered at my front door. The problem is that the post office did not deliver my package. I have surveillance cameras, and after checking them, I see where the carrier delivered my mail earlier that morning at exactly 11:39 AM, and he didn't deliver a package. At the time the text said the package was delivered 1:17 PM, there was no activity at my house at all; therefore, they lied about delivering my package. I called to file a complaint on the 16th, and I spoke to Kiara. While we were on the phone, she sent me an email telling me to fill it out. A couple of days later, I pulled up the email to fill it out only to realize she had closed the complaint, stating they searched for my package and couldn't find it. I had to call back for her to reopen it. This issue has happened to me several times where I get a text say my package was delivered as soon as I get the text I go right outside and there is no package, there isn't even a usps truck out there. I have spoken to the sup Bonny who never does anything about it, she upholds their bad behavior which makes her part of the problem. I need to speak to someone who cares about this issue along with other issues I've had that fell on deaf ears. My neighbor 2 doors down and said she experiences the same issue about getting a text that her package was delivered and will come right outside and there is no package. Please know that we go outside right after receiving the text, and there will be no package on the porch,or no truck in the vicinity. I have proof of everything I'm saying on my cameras, and it shows the date and time.
We only receive our mail twice a week! The Pony Express would be more dependable. Postal service does not leave packages on our porch - they try to jam it into our mailbox.
I ordered something on ebay, and been tracking it via USPS. It first ended up in Chicago, then St. Paul. Apparently somebody messed up because it got sent back to Chicago, then St. Paul, then Minneapolis, and back at St. Paul again. Seriously, those idiots better start getting their *$ together and start earning their keep! What the *&^% are we even paying them for?!
We mail out weekly 40 or more envelopes and they are not getting to the intended addressee. Some are returned saying attempted not know when that is not the case. They are not attempting a second delivery they just send it back.
I sent a large Priority Mail package on Thursday 11/16/23. I paid $22.80 for Priority delivery service and printed right on my receipt it said 2-day expected delivery on Saturday 11/18/23. I used Priority Mail and paid Priority prices because I needed the package to reach its destination quickly. On Saturday afternoon I looked up the tracking number and saw that the expected delivery date was still on track for that day, 11/18 by 8pm. Great! Saturday came and went...no package was delivered. Throughout the day on Sunday I checked again and no expected delivery date was listed --the only info available was that my package was "moving through" and "arriving and departing regional facilities". So the day BEFORE it is arriving and departing regional facilities...my package was listed as "out for delivery"...then it magically disappears from the radar is bouncing from arriving and departing "facilities". So finally today, Monday, 11/20/23 --- TWO DAYS PAST the expected delivery date that I paid for with supposed "Priority shipping" and now my package is listed as "Out for Delivery"... I will believe it when my daughter calls and says she has the package in her hands. Priority Mail prices have gone UP...but the service has gone WAYYYY DOWN. You pay premium "priority prices" for substandard, delayed service with inaccurate tracking information. Not to mention the beat up condition of the packages when they arrive. Unless the package is delayed for weeks or doesn't show up at all the Post Office won't do anything to compensate you for your inconvenience. It's ridiculous.
USPS insurance is a scam. You can purchase insurance but when they damage your package they refuse to pay. I would rate them at 0 stars if it was possible. If you need something to arrive undamaged or with reputable insurance, DO NOT USE THE USPS.

Answer: They sell them! Seriously! Packages or bundles of multiple packages are typically auctioned off when they have been labeled as "Undeliverable" for a certain amount of time, 30-60 days I presume. Personally, I believe they sabotage any and all items they can so they won't have to deal with it & packages are intentionally marked "undeliverable" when the mail carrier is either too stupid or too lazy to get it in the recipient hands. That is my opinion that I formed from too much pointless research on USPS. BUT, The packages are really auctioned off! That is a fact, not my personal opinion.
