I had no problems with USPS until last year, they stopped delivering any packages to my apartment anymore even ones I receive from the Veterans Affairs, I have talked to them and they said that USPS as a whole doesn't deliver to apartments anymore, is this right? No, it's not because myself and tons of others depend on deliveries to even live. Why not just let them go out of business or shut them down p[ermanately since UPS and FedEx does a way better job, plus now all the mail carriers are fat or literally out of high school so pure laziness.

Due to the COVID pandemic, many of us have had to seek employment other than what we had prior to the outbreak. Many have tried opening small businesses to supplement their incomes and in doing so require shipping services to get their products to customers. We decided to go this route as well, but have found that we cannot get our items out to our customers on time. Our shipments are arriving on time only 25% of the time regardless of shipping method and have even had priority deliveries that should take 2-3 days take weeks to arrive at their destination. Add to that the amount of "LOST" or damaged packages and the USPS is effectively destroying our business. We are now switching our shipping to couriers at a much larger cost as we have lost all faith in the USPS and its ability to effectively get our products to our customers. We would rate the USPS a 0 star business if the rating was available.

Always had great service with USPS shipping and receiving packages from them has been a good experience for me. Ebay and Amazon orders show up on time.

The USPS sucks

They might be one click better than fedex, but they are still horrible. Paid for priority shipping on an item, came 3 days later than it was supposed to! What's the point of paying for priority shipping if it's not a priority?

USPS lost my package and said I had to file a claim which is a long and complicated process only to not get approved for the insurance I paid for. I guess they just hope people will get discouraged over everything you have to do to get compensated for the stuff they lost which was way more valuable then $50 I would recommend tying your package to pigeons before trusting them

Missing package

I get daily info on mail and packages to be delivered everyday. Package said delivered and left on front porch... NO IT WAS NOT! This has happened 2x in the last week. Customer service SUCKS!

Sent two day priority from Wisconsin to Georgia. Sent on December 13th, 2021. Arrived on December 22nd, 2021. Checked tracking and said it was delivered on time, December 15th, 2021.
Not sure how they can do that when indeed it was not delivered.
I asked for an explanation. Here's what they said. Was probably delivered, but to the wrong house. They probably gave it back to the carrier to be delivered to the correct house. Either way, not their problem, no refund as their system said it was delivered. In other wards, doesn't matter if it goes to the correct recipient, they just have to deliver to somewhere!
One may think this was a fluke. No way. My son sent his two day priority on December 13th from Indiana to same address in Georgia. His arrived on January 5th, 2022.
At least the USPS is consistent. They should be embarrassed.

What a runaround. USPS

Loosing package twice!

USPS is the worse currier company then any other couriers. How can they lose a package twice in a row? There's something suspicious about this company. On December 20th I've ordered a book from Amazon and they sent it USPS and suppose to arrive January 4th. Never received it. I called Amazon to have another book sent. They sent it USPS suppose to receive it January 14. Never received it. I tracked it and says package in transit which I assume it's lost again. I called Amazon again to have them send me another book because stupid USPS lost the book again, but use another currier like Fed Ex or DHL, not USPS. I recommend anyone it to deal with USPS. I think they're crooked and liars and they don't deliver on time

I live at the Y. W. C. A Downtown Columbus Ohio. I tracked a Gift card that was sent to me for Christmas. It was sent to the correct address but I never received the gift card. Meaning the mail man/woman put it in the wrong mail box or took it for themselves. The Gift Card was spent. I am beyond livid! Then again maybe someone needed it more than I. I pray that the Lord's Will be done concerning this matter.

Worst delivery service

Worst customer service, no one helps
Stupid automated machine
No luck in getting you package that was nor delivered
Delivery people do not deliver it to the right address and you have to find your package on your own while these people add work for you
Customer service doesn't help and you can't even connect to them
Ridiculous!

I'd go postal too!

The USPS lost 50% of the packages I shipped in the past years. They are a horrible company and their process for filing claims DOES NOT WORK.

The USPS has nosedived down to one of the least reliable companies in business today. It's no wonder there are phrases like 'gone postal'. If I worked for such an abominable company, I'd go postal too! Stick to letters, USPS. Leave the parcels to Fedex and UPS. You can't handle that business.

Biggest loser Fair Haven mail carrier hangs on to your mail and lies about it saying, 'you were on vacation'... for 2 and 1/2 MONTHS. Who takes vacation that long all I can say is, DO YOUR JOB! YOU HAVE ONE JOB... JUST ONE... DELIVER THE MAIL!

People wonder why we don't use USPS anymore, but if the service they are providing is so poor, why would we want to use that service? I had a box scheduled for pick up on a certain time and date. WHen I called USPS to inquire about why it was not picked up, I was transferred to 15 people, and one sent me to a USPS office that was closed. The customer service response was, "Read the fine print, cancel the order, and ask for a refund." THat was their help. They themselves don't want to do the work.
Next, the box dimensions and weight was listed on the information. They said they do not lift heavy boxes and would want my elderly parents with back problems to lift the boxes in the truck.
Thirdly, my mother weight 2 hours in AM on the scheduled time, then three hours in the evening outside during the time the office provided us in the cold weather, and now is at very high risk of getting a cold, and possibly pneumonia.
I do not understand why a business offers services when they do not want to do the work. This is why no one wants to use unprofessional, rude, and lazy services. If I could give a negative review, I would give negative points for USPS.

Staff damaged package, zero compensation

I ordered a couple of items totaling $80. The box arrived looking like it had been stamped on or thrown by staff, the items inside completely destroyed beyond repair. Six months of attempts to speak with staff or claim compensation got me nowhere as they make their claims process as complex and un-user friendly as conceivably possible. $80 down the drain, no apology, no accountability, no replacement from this absolutely horrendous company. Avoid at all costs.

Stolen mail, no recourse

My daughter mailed my irreplaceable bow which I purchased 17 years ago and is no longer made. She packaged it at the facility in view of the clerks which was obviously a big mistake, and when it arrived to me the box was empty. All that was in the box was the cloth sleeve it was wrapped in and someone had put a pink sticker on the box saying "received without contents". As you can imagine, I was devastated as there is no way to replace the bow and nobody at USPS cares that this packaged was obviously tampered with. The tear in the box is not large enough for the bow to pass through. How does a 25 inch 3 lb. 12 oz piece of beautifully machined aluminum just "dissappear". To make matters worse when my daughter went back to ask if anybody had seen or found it, she was called all kinds of names by the clerk who also immediately, without reason, accused my daughter of accusing them of stealing which was absolutely false. Why was this person so defensive? How does a bow get out of a taped package through a tear smaller than the object? How is it that just the sleeve the bow was wrapped in remain in the still taped box? Why would anybody "retape" an empty box? None of it makes sense. Something isn't right and USPS has only offered a fraction of what it was insured for. I couldn't even pay for shipping from Italy to US for my Italian bow for what they offered. Fedex scans every package as it goes on and off each truck. It scans every package it receives as it comes in and leaves. Couriers empty their trucks and anything left like this would be given to the proper person to ensure anybody looking for it would get it back. It seems to me that this facility and USPS is woefully lacking proper security and they just don't care who they hurt. Judging by the other reviews of this facility, I am not the only one questioning the integrity of what might be happening to "missing contents" at this facility. Isn't it time the USPS Postmaster General inspector listen to people whose package contents have mysteriously "gone missing" at this facility to find out why? Beware. Isn't "tampering" with US mail a felony?
