I wish I could leave zero stars. I hate that all my mail comes through usps only because it never works out. They can't even deliver a package of stickers correctly. I have had 7 issues with USPS and their employees are never helpful and usually never know what's going on. When they supposedly can't deliver packages to my apartment and I go and get them, they almost gave me someone else's package! HOW DO YOU GUYS MESS UP EVERY SINGLE TIME?! Now my package says delivered and it's no where to be found. This mailing service is TERRIBLE!(:
USPS has become horrible in the last couple of years. Slow to completely losing mail. Employees don't seem to care! Last year I sent a package to San Francisco, it was showing out for delivery but never showed delivered! Theft or poor handling? I only hope ups will lower their rates enough to make it affordable to sell packages and let USPS handle letters and junk mail. Never seem to lose the junk mail!
Was supposed to receive a package today, and it's nowhere in sight. Why give me the expected day of delivery if you fail to deliver. Was supposed to be here hours ago, and nothing. Out for delivery my $#*!. I regularly receive mail before noon. But whenever I'm expecting a package, they show up at 4pm or after, or not even at all that day. What a waste of time and horrible service.
Sent payment via USPS Priority Mail for a car I bought from a gentleman on Facebook. I'm in Kansas and he's in Mississippi. Should take 2-3 days, right? Parcel gets misdirected and 4 days later the envelope is in Pennsylvania and now they say it will be delivered sometime next week, but who really knows where it will end up, or where it will get bounced to next. Label was computer generated, not hand printed. Now I have to call a man that I've never met and explain to him why he won't be receiving the check I promised him in 3-4 days. Nothing but insolence and incompetence from people at the 1-800 #. Every time they raise their prices the service gets worse. $8.95 for this and no refund. The only reason I gave them one star is because there wasn't an option for no star.
My family does quite a bit of shopping online, 99.9% of the time our packages arrive on time, that is when it is delivered by DHL, UPS, FedEx and Amazon, on the other hand items sent to us via USPS have a dismal record.
Seems like they are always late, and in some cases, we would get an email from the vendor shipping the item claiming that it had been delivered that day, when in fact it had not been delivered on that day, it ended up getting here two or even 4 days later, but way after I communicated to the seller that we had not received the item. This is really stressful to the seller, and my family too as we both get worried that perhaps the package might have been stolen. Lots of unnecessary stress and worry simply because, some post office worker decided that he or she was going to look good and preserve the bonus program by showing deliveries to be on time when they are in fact not yet delivered.
I am fed up with the fact that they lie about expected delivery dates. More times than I can count, I am told a certain day my package will be delivered, and then when it doesn't arrive, they lie and say the "actual delivery day is expected for tomorrow, not today." Today I got 7 updated times a package would be delivered. All 7 times, it never arrived. I called customer service and was lied to again, and was told the "actual day" is tomorrow... not today. So in other words... you will get your package... whenever.
I mailed a large box from GA to CO on 5/7/22. Three weeks later it still hasn't been delivered or found! I shipped it ground $108 & unfortunately without insurance but none of that would have matter, it still would have been lost! I've gotten emails & phone calls pretty much saying they're "looking" for it. It has only one scan in the system & it says it's still near my local post office! Why wouldn't they scan a box sotting around waiting for a space on the rented Fed Ex planes just to let everyone know it's still alive? Probably because that makes too much sense. How can a package get lost from the post office to the distribution center a few miles away? I'd like to say this is my first nightmare experience with USPS but it's probably #10! Stupid me keeps going back to this incompetent organization! But I can guarantee you it will be my last! I don't care if it cost twice as much shipping it with someone else, I will NEVER SHIP A PACKAGE WITH USPS! After 250 yrs being in business they STILL SUCK! Give the government control of ANYTHING & they will DESTROY it! STAY AWAY, spend the extra money for peace of mind!
I was home by chance on my work day.
I observed the mail person triple check a package and see to it they put it in the correct spot.
My area can be very confusing, house in front, apartments behind, many conflicting addresses.
Yet the mail person walked back and forth 3 times to confirm the packages address! Amazing.

Hello, I would like to recomend don't use US post office service anymore. It's not reliable, it's awful. I sent registered certified letter from nY to Vilnius Lithuania on March 28 at 10 am, when I tracked a letter it showed that letter departed on April 1 from USPSfacility. When I signed for SMS and email tracking the letter, the same time letter arrived to Jamaica NY International distribution center. Customer service can't tell what happened and even can't give a estimated arriving date. I need to
Wait and pray, because it's important document inside of this letter and even I can't get it back!
I do not understand USPS. I only have problems with them no other delivery service. I've had my package return to sender not 1 not twice not three but 4 times because they "couldn't find my address." Mind you my address is completely correct so is my name. I don't understand how I have problems only with them they are a horrible service. DO BETTER USPS……HORRIBLE SERVICE.
I paid $76 to send 2 notarized pages to Europe. Was delivered 13 days later instead of 3-5 days. That is a big scam which messed up all our legal process. A regular mail will take the same time to reach the destination.My mail from Woodbridge Nj to JFK airport took 6 days. Really? 6 days?
I would never ever use their Express International service!
Where do I start? Ok, consistent wrong mail in our box, regular letter takes 8+ days from Illinois to NY?, office branch taking lunch hour and closing post office in the middle of the day?
Stop with the excuses! You're govt run! Figure out what needs to be done to rectify your shortcomings.

My package is 3weeks late I filed a claim and they just said "package case closed" no information or anything I need this and they have done nothing but drag is on I swear I'm about to get my lawyer involved this is a huge waste of money and time pay for fedex or ups!
Needed help on a busy "Amazon Sunday" in Norwich Ct. Needed my packages because I was leaving town. Supervisor Christian was a wonderful help. She got the job done. An additional supervisor J. J. stopped in on his day off to help get things done. These two are to be praised. I'm sorry I don't have their last names but they are from the Norwich, Ct. Hub. Thanks so very much for help. This was a must get it done by today and it did.
I have been going through issues with the postal service for years. The last time I called and drove to the Monroe NC post office reported to them that my package was left in the rain on my driveway to the road. They put me through some loops and they told me to return the package back to the post office. The supervisor took my package gave me a receipt, filed a claim, and never got my refund from them. They can keep this money. But I know they have lost my business. I feel sorry for them.
I ordered a beautiful ring because it was my mother's birthstone, my mother passed away in January, kinda a daily reminder of her.
When I received the ring it had been damaged so bad I could not even wear it. So after waiting a month for this reminder of my loving mother, I was shattered to see that it could not even be worn.
I'm in tears writing this because no one could take an extra minute or two with a package instead you would rather deliver a package with an unsealed sticker, a hole in the package, and a damaged product.
With both my parents gone I don't have much to look forward to anyway so thanks for taking this from me too, because a replacement wasn't an option, all I could do was get a refund, that I have to wait 7 to 10 more days for. Then I can attempt to find another one that I have to wait another month for. Completely heartbreaking.
USPS has the most incompetent costumer service I have experience anywhere. It is worst than calling RMV which is been a benchmark for a long time. But certainty USPS has the title for incompetency and unreliability. Kdos to you guys. Cannot wait for the moment you get sold/privatized so your agent's rears can be properly and merciless kicked.
Went in to pick up my fathers mail and was told by the postmaster Elizabeth and window clerk that the power of attorney just had his mail forwarded via a phone conversation. Police called and they contacted the person who stated over the phone that they where the power of attorney for my father. The admitted that it was untrue. The postmaster Elizabeth knowingly and willingly forwarded his mail to her house. Identity theft? Very rude and unprofessional. Her boss Corey is also unprofessional and lacks people skills.
I have had my second incident with Rehoboth postal annex. Today I was expecting a package it says it would be delivered. I checked status and now it says postman tried to deliver and then took it to Lewes post office as I requested. This was a lie.We live across from mailbox and we were home all family members are disabled. I lost 100.00 dollars a fewmonts ago. I got an empty package. Called Rehoboth postal annex item was a bag of coins I was told it was found but was sent to lost and found and they would get it for me. Another lie never called me back. I called 3 times everyperson had a nasty attitude. One smart mouth said it was sent to Georgia for resale.No apologies, rude etc.
Horrible doesn't begin to describe their service. Was given a "expected delivery date" for 3 days after dropping off at the local usps. That day came and went. I tried tracking it and it said it was going to N Carolina? It was mailed in Howard County Md going to Carroll county Md- a total of 18 miles. How do you get something that wrong. Don't use this option unless you don't care whether your item arrives or not.
Answer: It's probably USPS, they are garbage. They have some of the worst delivery rates and fees.

Answer: I totally understand what you are dealing with. That's a really good question that I wish would get answered.
Answer: They sell them! Seriously! Packages or bundles of multiple packages are typically auctioned off when they have been labeled as "Undeliverable" for a certain amount of time, 30-60 days I presume. Personally, I believe they sabotage any and all items they can so they won't have to deal with it & packages are intentionally marked "undeliverable" when the mail carrier is either too stupid or too lazy to get it in the recipient hands. That is my opinion that I formed from too much pointless research on USPS. BUT, The packages are really auctioned off! That is a fact, not my personal opinion.
