Hey, what could go wrong when a quota guy with corn rolls, listening to rap, places my mail in the wrong apartment number (1 of 16), and then it gets lost for endless tracing and reissuing weeks later? God forbid he'd recognize my last name on the other mail and make the connection there is only "one of me" in the complex. Our Standards are getting lower and lower. Sure unemployment number is "impressive". Ya need 5 people these days to do the work of 1 smart/conscientious person of yesteryear.

I went to the post office location at 1915 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY ******* today at around 1:40pm and a employee at the front door told me that the office was closed for one hour due to being understaffed. Previous to going to the location I checked their google to make sure they were opened. I had a heavy package which I walked several blocks with to mail. The package had a prepaid label and just needed to be dropped of. I asked the employee if she can take the package. She refused and said she could not because she could not leave the door. The previous week the same situation took place. Me and other individuals came to the location and were told by a employee at the door that the office would be closed for 30 minutes. This is completely unacceptable, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. During both visits people complained that they wasted gas, their lunch breaks, their time, to come to come to this location. This location is obviously being poorly managed and the employees and manager are free to open and close the post office whenever they feel like it without any consequences. If they are understaffed they know ahead of time. Just like every other organization they have a roster of employees that will be working each day, and should post ahead of time on google, the post office front door, and voicemail the times they will be closed so customers do not waste their time coming to the location. Also if they are understaffed they should have the employee the front door helping customers instead of standing around. The manager and employees at this location are obviously doing whatever they want and not holding to USPS standards because there is no oversight for this location. There is a reason the location has a one star review on google and several other other review websites. Customers complain and nothing has changed. That is why those working at this location continue to do whatever they want and still get paid. This post office is useless to customers and needs to be closed down!

Waiting for 3 weeks (paid to be received in 3 days) and still nothing. In the past they did similar (2 weeks waiting) for something that was paid to be in 3days.

Haven't received water bill in months & they lost my State medical card. Wish they'd lose the local junk that can't be opted out of. I have Informed Delivery, so it will show when my water bill should arrive & I never have received it. The person that delivers my street ran a stop sign & almost hit my pregnant daughter too. I know with Covid things got wacky, but it has gotten worse in the last few months (Jan-Aug 2022).

I just wanted to congratulate USPS for their new TV advert featuring the song "I've Been Everywhere" by Johnny Cash which pretty much sums up what happens to your mail if you use them!

I wish Amazon and it's sellers would stop using USPS. Over the past few months out of 10 parcels not one arrived on time. Recently a parcel from Brazil took 14 weeks to arrive after arriving in the USA and passing through customs ( 4 weeks) the parcel was lost. It took two requests from me and one from the seller in Brazil before anyone bothered to check on its whereabouts(10 weeks). Jars of garlic/ginger paste well packed from Amazon arrived smashed and leaking from the packing. (Still trying to get the smell out of my mailbox.) Small items that fit inside padded envelopes take weeks to arrive having seen more of America than I have.
What prompted this review was USPS most recent advertisement which I just viewed on CNN, the song playing was "I've Been Everywhere" by Johnny Cash which pretty much sums up what happens to your mail if you use USPS!

My package has traveled more than I have

My package has been everywhere in Colorado except where it was supposed to go, Denver to Grand Junction, takes 4 hours to drive but my package has been touring the state with USPS for the last 6 days. What a joke.

I posted a package to Florida to my sister. The postman handed the package to someone who was not my sister and did not even record the name of the person. The Coral Springs post office does not answer their phone and does not respond to correspondence. I have been trying to get them to at least speak to the postman who signed for the delivery, handed the parcel to someone who wasn't supposed to receive it without getting the person's name, which I would think is procedure. USPS seems to be nothing but a big joke!

Unfair payment

I recently was trying to put in an application through the post office in my area when you fill out the profile it makes you pay money to continue to look for jobs this inconvenience people that don't have extra $89 to throw away when there's no jobs available in their area to apply for the refund should still apply for that reason not just if the post office doesn't hire you or if you fail all four level entries make sure you have extra money to give to them when you can't find a job through them cuz they won't refund it for that reason for not being able to find a job I do not recommend this unless you want to be a postal carrier lots of jobs for those though

$#*!ing terrible...

I had two packages "delivered". As soon as I recieved the message that they were "delivered" I ran downstairs to grab them. Neither were there... this was happening while the truck was pulling away. I immediately called USPS and all they did was repeatedly tell me that it was stolen and refused to hear any other possibility. And I was like "yeah... stolen by your driver". It is possible within the 5 seconds it took them to drop off the package and me to run downstairs that it was taken by someone else but highly doubtful. I went in circles to file a claim and everything but NEVER heard back. I lost over $200 in that situation. Months pass and just recently I was waiting for an order. I recieved a message saying the package was "delivered" and once again... nothing there. I honest to God wish I didn't need to deal with USPS but unfortunately I need to. If I could give no stars at all, I would.

Lost Mail

I sent a birthday card to my daughter in tehachapi, ca from las vegas, nv. On july 2.2022 and its 07/23/22 and counting and she still has not received it. I had 165 dollars inside the card. Because my phone would not work i could not transfer it, the bank said i must have a cell phone so they could send a code. So i sent her birthday money in a card. I had the right address and a stamp on the card, now it looks like me and my daughter are out of 165 dollars. Nowadays u cant even rely on your mail to arrive or just disappear, this is how our Government has become, unreliable cant be trusted. I called and sent they post office in Vegas an email but you all no how that goes. Dont trust the Post Office Folks.

This is the worst employer on earth. Inhumane! Nobody should apply to work for USPS. You are better off working for UPS and agreed! Better benefits too! It is a heat wave out in NYC this week and the manager and postmaster have the audacity to say go work overtime for free. Meaning you finish your own route and then do another route for free. The salary is already low enough. Now these greedy devils who gets bonuses for forcing people to complete work in 8 hours are treating them like animals. Rushing them and don't give them OT. Now with the summer heat wave they want to dump more work and not want to pay! What in the world is this. Work someone to death in this heat! This is slavery!

The package says it was delivered. We were home and sitting outside during the time it says it was delivered so that's a huge lie. They are always late and some packages just disappear. Use any other mailing service because this one is atrocious. Also, when I called about the package not arriving, the person at USPS hung up on me. I have nothing but horrible experiences lately with USPS. Seriously. Don't trust them to deliver your package. They will deny your insurance claim as well. It's sad because they used to be wonderful. They are not wonderful anymore they are difficult and a headache to deal with, and it's a gamble whether your package gets delivered or disappears through USPS. Shameful.

Worst Government Agency ever

I resent a package back for a refund through usps back in May 2022, it is now July of 2022 and the package has yet to be delivered. It says the package is in Pine Brook, NJ since the 20th of May. I have called every week since June and no one seems to understand my frustration. I will never, as long as God sees fit to keep me here use USPS. I have been trying to establish an online account on USPS.com but it doesn't accept my registration. I had a personal account with them and used their suggested password and the site eventually didn't recognize the password it assigned me. Then I tried to open a business account using my business info and even though I filled the registration form out correctly, it would not accept my registration. The website is awful.

About ninety percent of the mail I receive from the postal service has been semi destroyed, I've lived in my house for 17 years, the house next door has been vacant for bout 8, the caretaker brought a pile of my mail down the other day, I received a package yesterday, as you can see it was just stepped on it was stomped on several times, nobody more lazy and stupid than a government employee in a union- I reckon
