Messed up a package
July 21, 2023

Shipped over a PC to a friend, specifically asked them to write FRAGILE or put a FRAGILE sticker on it. They told me they'd deliver it in a weekend but it took two weeks to arrive and when it arrived to her, the PC's GPU was dangling and she has to fix up everything again. Were the people handling the package playing basketball with the package? They need to learn to be more careful with any package. Unreliable service.

LAZY! Non existent customer service. Typical government agency that has absolutely no care or concerns for the public that they are supposed to be serving. Service is getting slower and slower and more unreliable while prices just keep going up!

Delivery diversions
July 21, 2023

Ordered a ZT mower starter from California. Shipped from Ohio to Des Moines. I'm twenty miles from local P.O. In Iowa. Said in tracking it was running late. Next day it's was in L.A. California. WTF. Two months ago I had a package completely dissappear in the Des Moines terminal. There's a problem there.

Terrible service

I have ordered 4 different times and every single time i have purchased something they send it back to the sender, i have called them before about it and just as i thought they would help no, instead, the customer service is rude. Absolutely terrible service. The worst carrier you could possibly ask for.

This company is the most irresponsible company so far. I ordered a package from one of the retailers and they sent it through UPS and UPS handed over the package to USPS. And I tracked USPS using my tracking number and it says my package has been delivered on 21st June,2023 but not has arrived yet / haven't got on my hands. I guess they might have delivered it to somewhere else at wrong address or somewhere. When i complained about it, they said its been delivered and they cannot do anything as it says its delivered like what the hell. First of all they lost the package or may have delivered on the wrong address and they say its not their fault. If its not their fault, then whose fault is it. I tried to file a claim and they say that the address is invalid and the information is not in the system. And they also said that I haven't done my insurance so they cannot claim like what the hell.

Postage due

I was waiting for over a week for a first class package. I felt that it might be postage due so I waited by the door for it in the living room. I looked in my box there was a notice that there was postage due and no one home,. No one ran the door bell or knocked or tried to see if I was home.; I remember when first class was three now it is over a week.

I ordered a package off a website and USPS was responsible for delivery, however, instead of shipping it to my local post office they sent it to one 40 minutes away. They then sent me a forwarding notice and said due to an "incorrect address or zip code" on my label, the package had to be sent to a different office for processing. I called their customer service line and thank god for the wonderful lady I spoke to there. She was able to confirm that the correct address was on my label and informed me USPS had just sent it to the wrong post office and is working on processing the parcel to be delivered to my local post office. The only problem is the fact I need the package in 4 days for an event and I won't have it before then. I ordered this 2 weeks ago. They are terrible at keeping track of mail and won't allow me to intercept the package since it came from overseas.

Key broke

We have a neighborhood box/boxes. Anytime I order something from usps I know there's going to be issues. Never fails on failing. This time a key legit broke off in the lock. Package is there, can't access because the key broke off. I mean besides sending or dropping at the wrong address, what the $#*! else can you do to your customer? They have become the $#*!tiest delivery service, and they're government funded. That tells you something doesn't it?

I had an issue with an employee at a specific location. I put in a formal complaint on the website and get a phone call today from lo and behold… The person that I was complaining about. They told me they didn't appreciate me putting in a complaint about them. Wow, this is disturbing on so many levels.

Forwarding
July 12, 2023

I paid for premium forwarding and the PO failed to forward. I received a prompt call in response to my complaint and was told it would be corrected. It was not. I tried to send another e-mail and their forms are horrible. The USG is supposedly attempting to simplify paper work and they should start with the USPS.

I had to rate a one star because it wouldn't let me give it no stars. I sent a simple birthday card in an envelope with a regular postage stamp to my sister who only lives in the next town east of me, and she didn't get it. Called the USPS and since there is no tracking on it, they said they could be of no assistance. So the birthday card AND the $50 gift card are just GONE… Thanks a lot USPS. Never sending ANYTHING via USPS again.

I have had to deal with my packages and my sons packages being returned to sender and marked Addressee Unknown or Moved- No Forwarding Address even though we have lived at our apartment complex for over 7 years now. People who are hired to only deliver parcels are the ones scanning my packages this way. My postal carrier is awesome and will go and find my package and personally bring it to my door whenever this occurs. But I first have to call the 800 # and speak with an agent to make a complaint which then gets sent to my local post office. You cannot call the local post office anymore, since DeJoy was appointed. When you call it says you are being transferred to an operator but the phone just rings and rings, no one ever picks up. I once stayed on the line for 30 minutes to see if anyone would pick up and no one ever did.

Also, even though they have a chat line on informed delivery, know one has ever actually joined the chat when I have tried to connect this way. Usually the chat line is unavailable for the majority of the time. So, getting an issued solved rapidly is often a joke. I have been having issues like this for over years and it still keeps happening. The FBI is supposedly dealing with an issue involving my Informed Delivery account as well because someone has tried to redirect our packages elsewhere. Yet, I have not been contacted by them as to what is going on with the case. Uber frustrating and I am over it!

The postal service sucks now. Lost packages, late packages etc. It's frequent too, not just once in a while. How about you hire people with service skills! Not people who are rude and don't give a $#*!. A package we sent took a month to get to its destination because it was sitting for 2 - 3 weeks all beat up. The old fart at our local post office wouldn't do a thing to help us figure it out. We were able to have an online person open a case and it finally got found. Our money was being held by ebay because the post office wasn't doing their job. Way to go. There are no values left anymore. Pretty pathetic set up now.

My package arrived in Bensenville, IL (1hour away from my place) since 6/23 then went to NY & back to Chicago and now (7/1 expected) it's delayed. Please Hire a hard working staff not the lazy one!
USPS is giving a decent compensation and benefits. You will probably look for much better staffs than you lazy ones.

When the postal service goes under no one should be surprised. They abuse their loyal employees and let others spend their days on smoke breaks. Our local post office is only open during the middle of the day when hard working Americans are at work. We have no delivery option.

Rude clerk who is unaware of how to post customer packages with postage already on them. Even more idiotic postmaster who advises business clients to insecurely mail parcels in clear violation of postal regulations.
