I bought an item that was sent from NY and I sold an item that I sent to NV and both disappeared on the way. Both packages were priority mail with tracking and just disappeared. I filed several reports and inquiries and get messages that the case was resolved/ closed with no explanation. I am closing my eBay account because those packages seem to be central to what appears to be a theft problem
I wish USPS would never lay fingers on any of my packages for the rest of my life. If it's in the slightest heavy they will send it back, They are always delayed on late on arrival times. If it's not able to be put in the mailbox they won't get out of the truck. I would pay another $25 on every package ever sent to me just to ensure USPS did not touch my stuff.
For threes years now packages and mail have not arrived, even though a lot of them are registered with numbers. It often says that the package has been delivered when it hasn't, then there is nothing you can do.
We even went to the local post office and that showed a gps satellite record that a folding table had been delivered. We found it two blocks from our house. They even managed to loose my passport. Birthday presents and cards are a things of the past. I live at 6090,SW 26 Street, Miami FL *******.
I've had weekly packages dropped off from USPS at this address with no problem. Today they marked it as inaccessible driveway/front door... When I called they gave an excuse saying they had truck issues. How does that relate to not being able to find a house on an average city block. I was also told the delivery would be reattempted today but they never showed up... Lies lies lies.
Dont bother getting insurance on you package. No one will talk to you about your claim. No one answers phones. One person actually hung up on me. You have to prove what you shipped. The value. How you paid for what you shipped. Receipts, pictures of what was shipped, the address label. I provided a receipt but it didnt indicate the form of payment so I was denied. The PO insisted they delivered the package but they couldnt prove it and the adressee never received the package.
I used USPS to send two packages, Priority envelopes including docs on 08/24/2003. That is the sham!
I have been home all day waiting for my parcel to come. I even took the day off just so I could wait. Next thing you know, I open my door for my mother's package and I notice there's a note that says they "attempted" delivery by USPS but they clearly didn't. No one rang the doorbell or even knocked! I was in the living room the whole day waiting so I would've noticed. Instead, they left a damn note that says to ask for a redelivery or pick up myself. TERRIBLE service! This is why I will always prefer FedEx and UPS. Horrible. Waited a week for this just so I could pick it up myself the next day? Do your jobs or just quit if you're not going to do it properly.
I've used USPS in the recent months to ship documents. The first packet was targeted to reach with in continental USA on 08/29/2023. This is a certified mail destined to reach Texas. Seems like the mail is having free ride on Texas state roads. The status says 'Moving Through Network' and never updated in the past 25+ days. I shipped a second document shipped international expected to reach in 6 days. Seems like the packet is sitting in a transit airport and collecting dust. Both the shipments were certified and paid extra premium. I fully regret using USPS and probably never go back again.
I have no idea how the United States Postal Service is still in business. They are HORRIBLE. My office pays thousands of dollars a year to send registered mail to other businesses. Upon trying to track the delivery of our letters, the USPS tracking system shows things like: mowing through the network, unable to deliver, no information about your delivery. On at least 30% of our letters. Only a bureaucracy like this survives in business. Thanks to the taxpayers who support this very inefficient and incompetent service. People go to FedEx or UPS.
I just did usps ground about 3 weeks ago some reason my mail is still here in Massachusetts I'm tracking everyday it says still here in Massachusetts this is unreliable, bad impression.
You can NOT speak with a real person without putting in numbers and letters that their system totally does not understand which is really saying that if you ever actually got to speak to a " real" person, they more than likely aren't capable of answering in the first place.
Like most other professions, they are definitely scraping the bottom of the barrell.
Sad what the world is having to settle for.
I have been waiting g on a package since the Sept 20th it has pasted threw Birmingham's alabama 5 times and still not sent out to be delivered to its destination to be delivered to my house there has been noting but issues from this post office there needs to be a inquiry into the main post office it been a main issue im hoping when the new post master comes in at the end of this month th that will start getting rid of people who are there just collecting a pay check here are picks to prove the truth
I swear, if you want to get frustrated, angry, lose TIME, MONEY AND YOUR PACKAGES, go ahead and uhire USPS services.
This has got to be the worst, mos unreliable and disgusting service in the world. I bet 3rd world countries have better mailing services than this piece OF SH...
I hope they go bankrupt, and the ones in charge end up poor in the streets. I'd do voodoo on them if I could.
Once more no letter was delivered. Just a slip stating its on final notice to be sent back in the next two days. So, now I need to get myself down to the office and grab it between returning to work and the injury I'm still recovering from which is the whole reason I needed it DELIEVERED to me. Fingers crossed on that. SO glad we have this whole mailing system in place so we can see the potential of it doing its job while simultaneously watching it catch fire and rot from the inside out as it spits in our face and does a jig. Truly a sight to behold.
Waiting on an important letter that is special delivery which I cannot pick up in person and now three times IN A ROW its not been dropped off. I even had to special request for its redelivery. I specified a day meaning, logically, that I WILL BE HERE. I even left the door open and stated in the request that it would be. So, generally just a knock or a shout and I'd be at the door. This is a time sensitive issue that now I ONCE MORE have to request and HOPE it MIGHT get to me before the time runs out. This is unacceptable. If the person dropping the mail is just going to hand out 'missed you' slips, that aren't even filled out by the way, then what is the point in having them run deliveries? This is why personally I have almost stopped using USPS wherever I can. Its become so entirely untrustworthy. Very disappointing.
I'm very disappointed in the USPS, I had a very important package returned to sender because they said it was undeliverable. I tried calling my Post Office for over 2 hours and no one would answer the phone. I drove to the PO to look into the situation only to be told "Your package is under a bunch of packages and there's nothing we can do. It is being returned to sender". I explained how important it was to receive this package, none the less, they did not care. The sender resent the package and now it's going no where. I checked tracking last night, it said it had departed the Ybor plant and was in transit. This morning I checked tracking and it says it back at Ybor. What is wrong with the Postal Service? I worked for them for over 20 years and I can tell you it did not use to be this way
Both of my packages were priority mail, I guess the PO FORGETS priority mail is their bread and butter. This will be the last time I ever have anything mailed through the USPS!
Randomly when I get a package it will be marked "delivered to a front porch or front door". "delivered to a parcep locker" well i don't have a porch because I live in an apartment building and my front door is not accessible. There are no parcel lockers near me. Packages are meant to be dropped off at the front desk OR marked undeliverable... I don't understand why this keeps happening. Where are my packages? Were they lost and you didn't want to admit it? Did the delivery person just throw it at a random house? Did they steal it? There has got to be a better way to deliver to an apartment complex than lying to me about where you dropped the package
I am a usps employee and sent my packages out at a manual office. They do not print receipts in manual offices.
Both of my packages were stolen I'm out over 100.
Unless you take a picture. You're out that money. I'm upset but I love my job my coworkers supervisor and my postmasters a friggin RockStar
They have to either be really dumb or just straight up not reading the shipping labels. I've had to pay for re delivery twice already today. I haven't had this "wrong address" with any other carrier. Extremely annoying.
This mf came to drop off my package and drove by and said delivery attempted u fckn lazy $#*! mf didn't want to get off to walk 2 fckn feet ridiculous fck usps
I wish I could give this post office zero stars. The workers are very rude, disrespectful and lazy. They get an attitude and suck their teeth when they have to go in the backroom to grab your deliveries They love to say that they attempted to deliver your package and that they left a slip in your mailbox, which they never. I have seen the drivers sitting in their truck and never step out to deliver the packages.
Answer: It's probably USPS, they are garbage. They have some of the worst delivery rates and fees.
Answer: Yes is a scam very thing about usps is a scam, shame on you!
Answer: I totally understand what you are dealing with. That's a really good question that I wish would get answered.
Answer: They sell them! Seriously! Packages or bundles of multiple packages are typically auctioned off when they have been labeled as "Undeliverable" for a certain amount of time, 30-60 days I presume. Personally, I believe they sabotage any and all items they can so they won't have to deal with it & packages are intentionally marked "undeliverable" when the mail carrier is either too stupid or too lazy to get it in the recipient hands. That is my opinion that I formed from too much pointless research on USPS. BUT, The packages are really auctioned off! That is a fact, not my personal opinion.
