They had ne wait over two weeks only to still not access my funds due to an address change had me wait said they would call me never did and left me in a bad situation situation
My mortgage is with this bank and for over 10 years i paid every 2 weeks. Now they say i couldnt do tht and have late fees because they did not apply my payments. My fault i didn't look at the statements every month. I use bill pay and now for 2 month they are claiming it is NSF. How can bill pay be that. Thsy are full of crap. Nobody should use them.
Purchased the car after lease with this bank. They proposed a ransom program that they called "loyalty" for some reason, it's when they add 20% to your car's value if you purchase through the other bank. And the loan rates they offered were much higher than any other bank. They are not US-wide and send a quote that is valid for 10 days with regular mail so it remains valid only for 2-3 days after you receive it, and you have to deliver a cashier's check back within the validity period. No option to pay electronically and they don't have branches in Texas but dare to provide leasing services through Texan dealerships.
This is the worst experience I ever had. I recommend to avoid this bank at all efforts.
I waited for a half hour and never got seen. They had a lobby full of people waiting with only two people seeing customers. I had signed in along with half a dozen other people and some lady walks in, walks up without signing in and is seen right then and there. In addition they never check their sign in sheet they just sit around and talk and then tell you. You have to wait. They then proceed to take random people who don't sign in. Horrible service. I won't go back.
Avoid US Bank. I opened a CD with them and they made an error causing Federal Withholding to be removed from the interest earned. I received paperwork to stop this from happening and to reverse the funds withheld seven months ago. Nothing happened. When I call customer service they explain they cannot get into the branch bank systems and I have to deal with the employees at the branch. Unfortunately, after 4 visits to the branch, they continue have accomplished nothing and blame their corporate offices and the IRS.
I have dealt with Romel and Christianna and they have been of no help, to the point of telling me the branch mangager, Sylvia, has been dealing with this issue and has been in touch with me. I have never spoken with Sylvia. I have made two calls to the district manager, Ryan Hall, and have not had the courtesy of a return call.
This has been going on for well over 7 months and these employees admit they made an error but either won't correct it or have no idea how to correct it.
There are a lot of banks you can do business with, and be very careful before you choose US Bank.
Never do any banking with US Bank! Their customer service is terrible. It's been over a month and I still can't set up paperless statements or link an external account. I've called over 5 times and have spend over 5 hours on the phone.
This bank has been horrible ever sense I got it. Everything about it is horrible the costumer service and the banking. They bounced your checks they don't pay your bills on time and it's a huge scam.
Us bank imposed fees that I didn't have before union bank was purchased by us bank. They also don't honor my union bank debit card that is not supposed to expire until June 2024.
I opened a business account 3 weeks ago, they took my deposit but did not give me a debit card, checks or even account information for that matter. Customer service was useless, and told me that an order for my debit card was never put through even though I received an email saying otherwise. Time is money and I have lost $300 a day waiting on them. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
My husband died in february, 2023 and I called the local US Bank Manager and asked what I needed to do to continue to utilize my Trust Accounts with USBank. The Manager stated that there was no necessary action at that time but when the Trust documents were updated and an additional signor named to the Trust, we should come in to the bank to update the accounts. I later received a letter from US Bank stating that the tax ID numbers were expired - they were my husbands SS#. I called and gave them my SS# and also took the letter to the bank Manager - he also noted my SS# and stated that they would not close my accounts which was stated in the letter if they did not receive the needed numbers. Approximately a month later I returned home to find a check for over $100,000.00 on my driveway from US Bank, closing my savings account. I attempted to access my accounts online and was denied access to both my checking and savings accounts. I had been paperless and got all of my information for the account online - now I have no record of Billpay payments, cleared checks and etc. The Manager of the bank stated that he could do nothing to help me. I am not without resources but I am an 87 year old women, living quite independently but now finding myself at a loss without the banking institution that I banked with since 1972. Telling me that they could not assist in any way once the accounts were closed despite all of my income being in the form of direct deposit and all my ongoing expenses paid by automatic payments.
This bank is burdello with Stupid **suckers
I did receive my salary by paycheck and bill it by atm. It was worst mistake in my life.
After this bank put hold on my account and still holding my funds - almost 1 month
Gonna increase rate if somebody from this bank will start to work with throat
They bought Union Bank about 5 months ago and I still cannot hook up my Quicken with Direct Connect to US Bank in order to pay bills. I also got six credit cards, as the first three were not business cards. And my wife and I, who own the business, were not given Admin permissions on the account until about 1 month ago, despite visiting a branch and asking for just that. We had been with Union Bank for the last 8 years and while they were not great, things at least worked. It has cost me at least 80 hours of extra work, and things still aren't functioning properly. I plan on changing banks, and I applied to WF for a business account, but they won't issue credit cards for business accounts! What?
I think a class action suit against US Bank is warranted for this - any lawyers out there interested?
I was transferred to Us bank as they bought Union bank. It has been approximately 1 year and they closed by bank account without your consent or permission. When I discovered it and contacted them, I am told that they had left me one phone message and one email message that I cannot find and never contacted me again - just closed the two bank accounts (business bank accounts). I am told that it takes them 48 to 72 hours to evaluate and the questions that they have asked me are about my business and home address that they had in record and confirmation of deposits from my bank accounts.
The questions that I had to answer are no reason to close business bank accounts. I am in the process of logging a complaint with the Federal government to see if this is a discriminatory action.
I would reccomend anyone to stay away from this bank - The worst bank that I have dealt with.
We have used US Bank Perks+ Card. When using it for online transactions for travel abroad they send you a verification code. Unfortunately the code never comes to the cell phone we give them. We have spent hours calling and talking to them about this but they never get it corrected. DON'T GET A US BANK CREDIT CARD!
I was with Union Bank and I was happy. US Bank took them over, and now I have no access to online digital tax forms. I called customer service and the representative couldn't find it either. She transferred me to another representative specializing in online banking. She couldn't locate it either. I only wanted a digital copy of my 1098 form, but I guess that would be asking too much. Luckily, I have the original paper form from Union bank. Way to fail US Bank.
I got a text saying someone had opened an account using my number. It said if this is an error call this number. I called the number. The first person I got in touch with after like 15 mins hung up on me for no reason. I called back. Everybody else just kept transferring me other people. I got transferred, no exaggeration 7 times and was on the phone for an hour and a half listening to their absolutely horrendous hold music, which I recognized from the last time I had this exact same problem a year or two prior. I think I genuinely got brain damage from it. I finally got on the line with the one person at the entire company who actually knows anything and she said they would report it as fraud or something. She should just report this entire bank as fraud. I'm not even a customer and after this experience I would never consider it and I'll tell everybody what a terrible company this is. They just flat out don't care. I would award them negative stars if I could and may God have mercy on there miserable souls...
The worse bank ever- firstly kept cutting all my debit cards off. Once they sent me a debit card in the mail someone stole it and my money. When I reported it they closed my account. Cool when they finally give me my check from my closed account I go to cash it at the stickney,IL location and the branch manager failed to do so because I'm black US BANK is racist and I hate this bank they need to be condemned
I regularly deposit large amounts into my checking account due to many home improvement projects. The money is from my investment account. This last time they held my deposit for 7 days + with no explanation. The check cleared my investment account and is now being held by US Bank without any recourse. This is so unfair. I cannot pay my bills, I definitely will close my account and find another bank once I have my money.
I tried to set up a Business Checking Account with US Bank. Did the whole online application thing including funding the new account with my credit card. The system confirmed that my application had been received but then I two days later I received a text message saying that I needed to call a number to authenticate, so I called and waited on hold for over a half hour. Hung up and tried again an hour later, same thing. Couldn't call later because that office closed at 3:00 pm PST. Tried again the next day. Same thing. Called a different number in hopes that I might connect with someone who could route me to the right place. Waited 15 minutes for that one to connect and the rep did what she could, saying she would follow up the next day. No follow up. Just tried again and ran into the same problem. There is no online chat to help either. I finally called the main customer service number and waited to be connected to a rep who routed my call to another rep who told me I need to email some other office or go into a bank branch to resolve the issue. What the heck?!
Answer: U.S. Bank is NOT A SCAM! I've been banking with US Bank for over 18 years, and unlike many banks (TCF in particular... who's process may have changed by now since they got sued over it) US Bank counts your deposits first, checks or debits against your account second. If you know how to use Google, and you can find a branch by you, you will get the help you need. The statements by Joe B. Are insanely false and ridiculous. I have 2 checking accounts, 3 savings account and 2 US Bank Visa cards, I've never had an issue doing what I needed to do with regard to any of these accounts, and if I did have a question, they were easy to reach and always helpful. I am NOT currently a fan of their mobile app as they've kept updating it to a point where bill pay is messed up, but otherwise it has been most useful for transferring money and managing my balances. I've traveled the country and never had an issue getting money when I needed it, or handling my finances. And the bill pay on their website has helped me manage my monthly payments (house, utilities, loans) with ease, which was suggested by a US Bank customer service rep... which until recently, was very effective even through the mobile app. And just for the record, I've been buying groceries (and countless other things) at Walmart for 20 years... guess how I paid for it.:-) In general, over 18+ years, I can absolutely recommend US Bank. And no, I don't work there, I'm just a customer who opened an account there because it was across the street from where I worked at the time.
Answer: At the time, it was convenient because it was across the street from where I worked. I've stayed with them because they have always come through for me. Customer Service is easy to contact at 1-800-US-BANKS. Or you can find a branch where you live at USBank.com. And NO, I don't work there, I'm just a customer that knows how to use Google, the internet, a keyboard... c'mon people, use the hat rack on your shoulders.
Answer: Why are you asking people in a forum?! Call the bank and ask them! Here is a place to start: https://www.usbank.com/about-us-bank/customer-service.html
Answer: I had to buy US Bank checks recently. Two boxes cost me $40.80
