The company faces significant challenges regarding customer satisfaction, primarily due to prolonged shipping delays and poor product quality. Many customers report waiting several months for their orders, often receiving items that do not match their expectations in terms of materials and craftsmanship. Complaints about inadequate customer service, including unresponsive communication and ineffective return policies, are prevalent. While a few customers express satisfaction with their purchases after long waits, the overall sentiment leans heavily towards disappointment, indicating a need for improved transparency, product quality, and customer support to enhance their reputation.

So, I'll begin by saying that I was one of the most critical people of this company for the last 2 months. I had the exact same experience as many of you; where I ordered, thought for sure I was scammed, contacted them several times, and got templated responses saying they "are experiencing delays due to COVID". I wrote a scathing review on here a few weeks ago (sitejabber seems to have taken it down) and I questioned the reviews of a few people on here who stated they had received the shoes (also now removed), thinking they were fake accounts made by Oulos to keep the scam going as long as possible before they were shut down. I ordered back on April 21st, and had completely given up hope on ever receiving these, but today I surprisingly got them in the mail (see the photo with today's newspaper and the package the shoes arrived in). They seem to be roughly as advertised, so in closing I just need to say: Oulos appears to be a small company that is just starting out and may be a bit out of their league and unable to keep up with orders, so their shipping is brutally slow. Hopefully you all get your orders soon, but I suspect with the amount of negative reviews and how the slow shipping makes the company look like a scam, they probably will not be able to stay afloat for too much longer.
I ordered a pair a shoes last spring and they still haven't arrived after nearly 3 months. There is no phone contact and all I've gotten is the run-around from customer service. AVOID
I contacted customer service twice, first asking if they could provide an update other than ocean transit, funny thing is they have a California address so it actually looked like it went from CA to somewhere in the Ocean. I thought it was odd, but was contacted rather rudely back that they were in ocean transit and that should make me feel better- it didnt. Ordered them in March and end of June just got them. Asked a second time for a refund and they said they couldnt do that. You probably will eventually get the shoes you ordered so I wont say its a scam but best to avoid if you want to enjoy what you paid for. They offered no shipping date in the ordering process and say that it is a US based company so figured a week or so for shipping- maybe 2-3 weeks max. I did not know it would need to go from customs nor be on a boat for 2 mo. For the shoes themselves- would not even recommend. They talk on the webiste like they are high quality its pretty low quality for $60. The sole is pretty thin and I dont think they will last long.
Paid my money and waited 90 days for the shoe to arrive, so narrow it like a shoe for child, I pulled my foot out and the insole came with it. I asked for return information and was told " you pay to return it and we give you store credit" I don't want to go through anymore nonsense. Good luck Olous you suck
After waiting almost 2 months, the shoes finally arrived today. I'd actually given up hope a month ago, and so the package arriving today was a complete surprise. The parcel itself had two different labels. The label underneath didn't track, but the one on top did. Backtracing, apparently after arriving at a warehouse in LA in late May, the package sat there for almost a month until it was sent to a shipping partner in La Puente (also LA) until being mailed earlier this week. So much for these kinds of orders. While the company may be completely out of the logistics loop here, they have to take some of the blame for who they chose to deliver their product. Anyway, all's well that ends well and the original tracking number? Neither of the labels had that number, so there would never have been a way to track the package. "When you absolutely, positively need it there" At least once USPS finally got the package they delivered it the next day. So be patient if you're still waiting, you may yet get a surprise in the mail like I did today. The shoes themselves are nice. They seem to be well built, and they're lined with faux fur, so they could almost be slippers around the house. Sizing is good, and they're comfortable out of the bag. So the company is for real, the product is for real, and the logistics - well, that's a mess. Good luck!
AVOID this company... its been months since I ordered a pair of shoes from them- still have not received. They refuse to refund my $$.
I purchased a pair of the OD green shoes several months ago after seeing an ad on Instagram. After several weeks they had not shown up and the order said they had shipped but gave no further info. I looked at other reviews and came to the conclusion I just got scammed out of 60 dollars. So I moved on, yesterday they came in the mail after almost 4 months of waiting. They are exactly as expected and very comfortable. I believe covid hitting them probably had something to do with the shipping delay. I'm sure things will be back to normal soon and shipping will be expedited.
This company/website a scam. Do not place orders or you will wait indefinitely for an update and the order will never arrive. If you wanna kiss $60 away, donate it to your favorite charity instead.
I ordered bison boots and socks in April it must now jiune 18th and still no boots and last I heard from my tracking number they are still at LA harbor. I get go around emails from the company. Never again
Ordered April 17, After emailing this fake company AGAIN, I started getting fake tracking updates, saying it was released at LAX on 5/20. Today is June 16. Now there is no info on the tracking!
Ordered on 4/17, email saying order shipped on 4/18. Tracking number never worked until about 5/15, stated in ocean transit from China!. Now, no shoes and tracking number says not found again! Don't waste your $60 like I did!
This is not some company nestled in the Pacific Northwest of the United States as the pictures on the website might suggest, it's just another scam. If you do happen to receive your shoes be prepared to wait around four months for them.
Honestly thought I was scammed out of my money for awhile and gave up hope. However, they finally arrived and are exactly as expected. I believe Covid hit the world and they most likely bit off a little more than they could chew. They definitely need to work on their email updates...
I ordered my shoes on April 22nd and they just arrived today (June 11th). Haven't worn them yet, but the quality seems sketchy at best. Oh well, at least my 60 bucks paid for something!
As title says. Received them after 5 or 6 weeks. Fair quality, good materials used. Not worth the 60 I paid for the iffyness of the situation but happy I at least got them. Stay positive folks hopefully you'll get yours too.
I ordered these shoes on May 1. I have been told everything from "they will arrive on May 9th" to "they have just left the plant in China" to "they have been delivered to the USPS" to "things are slow because of COVID 19" Will now try to have my credit card company obtain a return.
Ordered Shoes three months ago and still haven't received them my tracking number doesn't even show up anymore, same generic message from Sophia Brown.
Pretty sure this is a Scam business. My order isn't on the tracking look up and receiving standard autogenerated messages from support. They advertised as Oulos Australia where in fact they are not. Annoyed with myself on this impulse buy when should have googled the reviews first. Hope i can get my money back.
I ordered shoes months ago, and have yet to receive them. Pretty sure this is a total scam. Customer service says they're in the way, and send some general shipping timeline. They've sent the same phony Usps number twice.
Answer: Unfortunately. Very cheaply made with zero support or padding. It's like walking in stiff plastic handbags with completely flat soles as hard as whatever you walking on, like pavement or concrete. Wore them 1 time. Uncomfortable all day.
Answer: Good question. If these shoes could've been bought elsewhere such as Zappos or Amazon, it would've a better choice as far as actually getting the shoes in a timely manner.
Answer: They are legit but if you want your shoes before Christmas ( writting this in almost July) I would avoid, not worth the money anyway
