I have been using Upwork for a few weeks now, and I have to say I like how it creates an easy platform for freelancers to showcase their work and connect to quality clients. I can easily create a portfolio of all of my work, and can apply to as many jobs as I feel I have the expertise to perform.

Upwork is a great website that offers services and jobs to freelancers like me. It helps us to reach out to our clients easily and our monetary allowances are very safe. Well-recommended! Loving it forever!

Upwork. It changed my life! I have been a freelance graphic designer, website designer and illustrator for over a decade. I had worked long hours, had issues with payments from clients and was ready to throw in the towel when it was suggested that I register with Upwork. Their platform is amazing, their support is unrivaled and they actually do listen to (and apply) suggestions that are vocalised. I have received every payment and know that their legal team is ready to mediate should I need them (thankfully this hasn't been the case, but I know they are there)... Highly recommended!

Over the years, as both the freelancer and client markets expanded it became harder to find quality work. Despite that it remains a good platform to get your start in the industry. Yes, it's brutal to both clients and freelancers. If you put in the necessary hard work, you'll see growth and success.
Whether the platform works for you or not is all up to how much effort you put in to it.

Upwork.com is a perfect landing spot for the new freelancer. It offers a free membership, which allows you to communicate with potential clients, submit proposals, and accept new jobs. Upwork offers freelancers protection against clients who fail to pay or refuse to communicate. They guide freelancers through the process of building their profile and even suggest jobs based on freelancer input. I only rated it 4 stars because the free account has limitations, and they take a percentage off of the top of any income. For example, a posted $40/hr rate nets the freelancer $32/hr. Upwork takes the other $8.

Upwork has quality clients. I've tried a few different sites in the past to look for creative work (screenwriter, storyboards, animation) and I find that it's hard to stand out from the crowd even if your work is on a different level than those in your same field.

Upwork puts you where you need to be. I have had multiple clients contact me without having to go find work which is great.

The only downside is that when you have a good paying reoccurring client, Upwork keeps their rates too high. I can take a client off site to a contract company like Bonsai and more of the money goes into my pocket.

A very reliable freelance platform，there are many jobs every day. I've had the experience of being scammed on other sites, but it's rare on this site. The only shortcoming is the mobile version of Upwork. Message chat interface sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work, When the page doesn't appear, it will say something like "We Couldn't Complete Your Request. Which makes me very upset sometimes. In the choice of school section of the profile, I graduated from a school in France. I can't find it.

I am an experienced Graphic and Video editor since 2016. It's hard to restart again and make a personal appearance online about my job. But Fortunately, I found Upwork. It's Good for Freelancers Because it's so secure (No scammers so Far). Upwork have a 20% less from your total income but it I find it so quick and easy to find a client. (Just work hard enough on your profile though.)

The fee charged by Upwork for building a platform that facilitates finding clients is well worth it. The interface, billing, and payment features are easy to adapt and make the whole process of receiving funds exceptionally easy. I would highly recommend becoming a member if you are interested in locating gig work as a developmental editor, copy-editor, proofreader, or even very creative writing of courses and presentations.

Upwork is a friendly freelancer site for both clients and freelancers. You don't have to worry about you done the job but not getting paid or you paid but you don't get the work done. Upwork will stay in the middle and get things right.
