The overall reputation of UPS is marred by significant concerns regarding service reliability and customer support. Many customers report frequent delays in package delivery, errors in shipping, and inadequate responsiveness from customer service representatives. Complaints highlight issues with lost packages, unfulfilled delivery promises, and a lack of accountability, leading to frustration and dissatisfaction. While some customers acknowledge the company's long-standing presence in the industry, the prevailing sentiment is overwhelmingly negative, with calls for improved communication and service efficiency. This feedback suggests that UPS must urgently address operational shortcomings to restore customer trust and satisfaction.

I shipped a package full of clothes, UPS lost the package and didn't even try to find it. All i got WAS A REFUND FOR THE SHIPPING. IF THEY "LOSE" PACKAGES SO MUCH THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONPENSATE
I'm trying to have package delivered to access point because UPS always loses my packages and they want to charge me to do so.This company is a joke I'm so sick of UPS
UPS, and DHL are the top delivery companies in rockford Illinois! UPS will never Leave your package unattended and DHL will call u upon arrival! Thanks for excellent customer service! FedEx and all the other delivery companies care less about your packages!
Oh boy, where do I begin? First off, I truly believe that everyone can have an off day, and sometimes things can get a bit chaotic in the world of delivery. However, with UPS, it's starting to feel less like an occasional mishap and more like a recurring theme.
Let's talk about consistency – or in UPS's case, the lack thereof. I've been expecting packages from them, and they've given me expected delivery dates which I've looked forward to. But then, as the day approaches, it's like they're playing a game of musical delivery dates with me. I get an email saying, "Surprise! We'll deliver it tomorrow instead." Okay, not a big deal, life happens. But then tomorrow comes and guess what? Another email pops into my inbox with a new twist: "Hang tight! Your package will now come next week." Really? Again? This isn't just a one-off incident. It has been the story of my life for the last four packages. At this point, I might as well treat their delivery dates as horoscopes – take them with a pinch of salt and don't set your expectations too high.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the communication. Emails are great. But I'd rather have fewer emails with accurate information than a daily fictional story about when my package might or might not arrive. It's almost like they're writing me a suspense novel in installments, except I didn't sign up for that kind of drama.
I genuinely want to be understanding. The delivery business is tough, and I'm sure there are countless factors that can lead to delays. But when it becomes a pattern, it's hard to remain patient. If UPS is facing challenges, I'd appreciate transparency and a genuine effort to improve, rather than what feels like being strung along.
In conclusion, while UPS does eventually get the job done (yes, the packages do finally arrive, in case you were wondering), the journey to get there has more twists and turns than a mystery novel. If you choose to use UPS, just be prepared for some unpredictability and remember to manage your expectations.
I was recently waiting for a delivery when I receive a text that my package is"undeliverable" (because I live in an apartment). I literally received the text as the truck was in front of the building. I ran outside as the truck drove away! They can text me that they won't deliver but they won't text me to let me know they are there?! They then refused to deliver and wanted me to go to their building to pick it up. They eventually delivered it after I insisted that they do so. They used to to do the same thing when I lived in a house. This service doesn't seem to have much motivation to actually deliver. I would never choose to use their service EVER.
I HATE UPS, THEY NEVER COME WHEN THEY SAY, THEY DON'T KNOCK, THEY JUST LEAVE PACKAGES TO BE STOLEN. I DO NOT BUY FROM COMPANIES THAT US UPS OR FEDEX. MY CHOICE ALWAYS IS USPS.
"I am absolutely furious with UPS! They managed to lose my daughter's passport, a document we were looking forward to in order to complete her student visa application. This level of incompetence is beyond belief and has completely messed up our plans. Spilled. The complete disregard for something as small as a passport is appalling. Because of UPS's negligence, my daughter's future and education are at risk. This experience has been an absolute nightmare and I am extremely disappointed in UPS's lack of responsibility and care. UPS before Think twice about trusting them with anything of value."
Disgusting service. Did not attempt to deliver my parcel. Just took it straight to the pick up point. If the driver can't be bothered to their job right. Then why take the job in the first place? MORON
Absolutely disgraceful
Expe with ups and we highly not recommend to work with!It s from the 10th we re waiting our account To be marked as PVA!. It s a month! After ups moved us into THIS account without asking us and without reporting into the new one we already were benefiting of PVA since September 2022 on the previous account;after we ve been chasing ups for months asking to sort it out,After our email have been bounced from department to department and time passed on while you ups kept filing invoices without solving the issues, after the first invoice dates 20/06/23 has been turned into a credit note and added to PVA,after "finally" the email from PVA stated that PVA has been added to this new account, why you ups want to force us to pay for those invoices dates AFTER the 10th of July? Without any reasonable explanation, just "Shippings have been closed", while the last invoice is dated July 25th?Should we stop our business in the meantime you ups have the decency of marking us as PVA?Or how long should we still wait for it?Aren't months off chasing and loss of money from our side enough?we want a full report with explainations, reasons, and dates of why invoices after the 10th July Have to be paid and why nothing has been done to sort all these issues we reported to you and all your departments on time?We want all the information, explainations and reason why all this discondict and bad service is happening, and why you ups don't want to solve it,it will be reported to the court, ombudsman, house of companies and hmrc.
I had terrible 2 month experience with UPS customer service. I had a parcel content damaged because it was delivered wet by UPS. I called and submitted a claim over the phone. This was followed by many other calls made by me and no one seemed they knew what they were talking about. I had to write to UPS log emails, followed by request of me to take photos of each damaged item inside which was about 90 photostaken and sent to UPS by me. This had to be repeated as different person requested it. After two months back and forth with emails and calls and tremendous stress incurred each time, I was told that I would not receive a compensation whatsoever, not even for the shipping cost. UNBELIEVABLE, not only losing money as the content was damaged and unusable but also so much time with 0 result in the end. VERY BAD COMPANY!
I don't what happened to this company but they incompetent I always my package delivered to my house now they are stupid one time it was out on delivery. They didn't deliver it so they sent it to access point that was the first time this time I've made order it was Alan delivery and it wasn't delivered that day it was delivered to nesting and it and they this place my order to another address now they telling me I'm not that they are not liable they they have the slowest driver who either is drunk or on drugs and he can't even spell or don't even know numbers that he could deliver my package to a wrong address.
For months I have been attempting to complete the process for setting up an invoiced billing account. I have completed credit apps and spoken to reps over the phone for hours. Never has the process, which had been communicated completed on multiple occasions, been billed monthly as promised. Today I found out that the customer service rep had been using my personal information, not my company's, but mine, to open fraudulent account and charge hundreds to ME! I pulled shipping from UPS from my entire company, no need for these problems. Stop outsourcing customer service to areas with the highest density of hackers!
I have the best UPS driver in the entire world. He is extremely nice, considerate and careful with my packages. Please put him some air conditioning in his truck because the poor guy be drenched.
The worst company I have shipped luggage with so far they ship your luggage the luggage arrives at customs and no one notifies you for over a week what happens to the luggage they won't call you they won't email you they won't give you any information nothing nothing I am trying to get on the phone withthem, but they don't answer or if they are willing to answer, they hang up when you tell them why you are calling
If I could give a zero I would, never received my package they said it was delivered, and left at a gate I have no gate so who knows where they dropped it off at, probably threw it out the door as they were driving by, guess they don't check mailbox addresses just drop off the package anywhere just to get it unloaded, and I thought FedEx was bad man ups is much worse
Delivery schedules are never accurate. It is always changed from a time slot to "by end of day". This has happened many times. I never received the package within the estimated time. So a schedule like 9 am to 12 pm is completely useless. By ending of day doesn't disappoint customers, but changing the time slot does.
I have been working for UPS for 32 years!
I ordered something and supposedly they delivered!
Package was not found around my house! So I called, good luck contacting someone for customer service, then they pull up a satellite view of my house, which was 20 years ago! They are calling me a lair,,,,, But UPS, has Proof?
How do you have proof, I never signed for the package!
Poor service, super poor customer service
Since my new driver there has been nothing but issues. He never leaves packages in the same place consistently. It's either smack Dab in front of my door so I can't even open the door to get out or its left in the pouring rain an items get soaked. For returns I box them all up tape the vendor return label on and leave out for pick up. He will leave the ups label right there instead of just slapping it on the pkg and taking it He leaves the label for me to put on and then doesn't come back until i have to call in anther pick up day. Well this last one over the edge
I got my air fryer took it out and it's all busted up! Look at the box and the box is all damaged. And I know it was from him because he put big UPS blank stickers all over the damaged part trying to hide it! Seller won't refund me because it wasn't damaged when she sent it
So now I'm out the money. Beyond ticked off! I'll be calling to report this in the morning.
Plagued with a lot of problems and highest prices. Since it is wide, it is very hard to see who did wrong. Overall, i do not like UPS in favor of FEDEX which has a better customer service and a more traceable system. Zero star.I do very little business with UPS and when I do, an ordeal strikes. Go to FEDEX
Answer: Because there is ZERO accountability at UPS and they dont care about customers or having business ethics. Answer my question if you can.(Click on my profile and see it)
Answer: Because the management orders the people under them to do it, so it looks good on UPS. And most customers dont bother to complain or write reviews.
Answer: It's driver preference and they don't care. I complained about this. I'm constantly getting medical supplies delivered and they don't care
Answer: Because they don't care! For the life of me, I can't understand why anybody uses them as a delivery service.
Answer: Because they are a very poorly run company. It doesn't even run its offices domestically well, as you can see by the overwhelmingly negative reviews on this site. Use any shipping service over UPS.
Answer: UPS is a disgrace. They are a disregardful and careless business who lies to their costumers. Absolutely will not support ever again!
Answer: Sadly, today the term racist is used to define almost anyone that we disagree with. I am not a happy customer of the ups store but if you are getting death threats you need to contact the police. It is illegal in America to make death threats against anyone no matter their race, creed or color. That is the beauty of living in United States of America. You do not need to wait for a company to file charges against another human being who is threatening your life. You just need to take the appropriate, legal action against that person, good luck!
