The order took over 2 months when the website stated it would arrive in 3-6 business days. Over the course of those two months I received NO response from customer service on the whereabouts of my saber. When it arrived I saw that the blade is bent and scratched, the hilt rattles and the top of the blade flew off in the first swing and all the plastic paper came flying out of the top. Extremely disappointed considering I payed £160.
Almost everything arrived exactly on time. Some product were delivered 6 weeks earlier than expected. Creations of what I ordered are absolutely phenomenal and friendly customer service. Also easy and efficient way of paying! (I am still waiting on other products which have pushed past the expected wait date)
I cannot recommend Ultra Sabers for the following reasons:
1 - My invoice stated a shipping charge of $40 to the UK. However, I also received an invoice from FEDEX for and extra whopping £54 to cover import duty and the FEDEX admin fee! This was not clearly stated on the Ultra Sabers website or invoice.
** I recently purchased a Hasbro lightsaber which came from the US with free shipping and import duty paid! **
This is what my order summary said, so I don't expect any additional charges.

2 - Don't ever expect a response from customer service; after sending multiple emails asking when my lightsaber would be delivered, I didn't ever get a response. After mentioning that I would cancel via my credit card company, I did finally get a confirmation of shipment. It would have been nice to get a "Hey, we're really sorry for the delay".
3 - Lead time is in the order of months, and (per above) when your request for a delivery date is ignored, it's very frustrating.
It's a real shame because the product is good, but execution as a company is amateur at best; it's more Jabber the Hut than Obi-Wan that's for sure!
A very disappointing experience - I will not ever come back to Ultra Sabers.
I'd read probably hundreds of reviews before making my purchase. I continued with a great amount of caution, as I heard the quality was amazing, but the customer service was upsetting. I kept this in mind to try to be flexible, since I ordered in time for Christmas.
I placed my order on July 28th, keeping in mind that I had read for some it took upwards of several months for them to receive their order. The process began slowly but surely, and I anticipated waiting a LONG time. This wasn't the case, quite the contrary actually. I'd received an email stating my hilt was out of stock, and they replaced it with my request (a hilt that cost $5 more than my original choice, and they didn't charge me for it!) Their customer service only took a week to reply to my email, and left me with great confidence even during a global pandemic (and the whole USPS thing going on). I received word TODAY, August 24th at the time of writing, that they'd arrived at my post office! Less than a month of wait between ordering, changing my order, and shipping it out.
The sabers are perfect, bright, and exactly what I'd expected. I'll be returning to them for more sabers in the future. I anticipated something happening to hinder the process of receiving the sabers, but to my surprise there wasn't. I feel sorry for anyone who has had a bad experience, as I can tell they don't intentionally make things hard for people.
With a little patience and understanding, I'd be willing to wait months for my order, if it meant that they'd be built like this every time. Fortunately I was able to have a good first-time experience. I'll report back if I ever have an unpleasant time with them, although I highly doubt I will!

THE LIGHTSABER DELIVERED 2 MONTHS LATE! AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TRASH. Lol just tell me when the package will be delivered and answer more quickly.
I was never able to get in touch with anyone when I called or when I emailed. Both of my blades were curved when I got them. The sabers are great and hold up, they are bright. It would just be better if customer service was better and didn't take two months to get the saber.
The lightsaber is of great quality. The constructions seems very sturdy and the blade is very bright and the color is very vibrant! So the product is amazing. The customer service, however leaves a lot to be desired. I sent I believe 3 emails about my order that all went unanswered. Not to mention the site said my order would ship in 2 to 4 weeks. This was most certainly not the case. I got my package after 8 weeks of waiting with no warning from Ultrasabers that it would be this late despite the fact that I reached out trying to get information about my order. In my experience overall the product is great, but customer service not so much. I would definitely use them again because they make great sabers for a lot cheaper than other companies without sacrificing quality and the wait is worth it, but I wish I knew how long the wait would really be.
Sabers came super fast and they work great! Couldn't be happier.
We love the actual Sabers. One light saber came to our house within a few weeks. The other Saber took over 3 months. These Sabers were especially for our sons to use to play with each other. Our youngest son was very disappointed that his Saber was not here. His intention was that he could spend time with his brother doing an activity that they both could enjoy...but by the time his came, his brother was already a bit over playing with his. There was alot of communication between us and the company. Apparently, they had attached the wrong hilt. The answer, they came up with, was to offer us to upgrade the hilt ( at a discount). We agreed. The upgrade came with a recharge port. In order to utilize this port, we would have to pay an additional price, in order to get the part that plugged into the wall. It was nice to have communication with the company. Charging the customer, because of a mistake that your company made, is not how I would have handled it, had it been my company. There were some very minor problems with the sabers when we got them, but it was nothing that we couldn't fix, thanks to the response that we got from the company. I feel like alot of the delay was due to the extreme high volume of business that they do, paired with the painstaking craftmanship that they put into each handmade saber. However, I notice that they were frequently advertising there products. ( which was perfectly fine, I signed up for offers) The thing is...I don't understand how...( if there is a problem handling high volume)...that you would aggressively try to increase volume of your product...until you get existing orders under control. So my review, summed up is this...It is a beautiful product. You will most likely enjoy it. Don't count on receiving it in a timely manner. It may come with very minor flaws. The company will do there best to communicate with you. I do not feel like they try to upsell you when there is a problem in a premeditated way...but it might happen. If you are thinking about using a competitor, do not bother. I don't even think there is a competitor. I am ok with the whole experience...but for the kind of money that I invested...I should be may more pleased than that.
Only thing that could be better is having better instructions available.
Especially with how to use the soundboard on the computer when you dont have an emerald saber
Answer: Hello Dale R. What I can tell you is that Ultrasabers reside in Texas and I live in Southern Québec, in Canada. It took about 4 days for the two Sabers I ordered to get to me. That is extremely fast by my experience. I've been doing mail orders since 1995, between once a month to 4 times a year. In that time, I have never seen such speed. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes as far as I know all the hilts are made from aircraft aluminum
Answer: Currently it says they have a 4 week lead time meaning it should take 4 weeks to complete. However this is not accurate. I recently received an email saying that they were updating their lead times to be more accurate. Back to your question though. As you know we are stuck in a pandemic. This makes it hard for their providers to give them all the parts they need. So, it takes at least a couple more weeks currently to finish orders.

Answer: Yup they are from the USofA - I got mine from them, Im based in Australia so I had the same concerns - but the customer service it outstanding. They are expensive but well worth it!

Simply put, we make awesome lightsabers. The bottom line to Ultra Sabers is quality of product, affordability, and superb customer service.
