My order from Jack -in-the-box on 281 was not filled. I asked Kenneth the Delivery Driver to please get my 2 shakes, and I'd add a better tip. He said he would but never did. I asked Uber Eats for a refund of $16.28, and they responded with a half credit on Uber cash. I firmly stated I want myoney back. They refused: "Hi, We understand that you are expecting a refund, however, won't be able to provide you with a price adjustment on this order".
My order before this in January was never delivered. I watched him pass me by in a red truck, even with my waving, head to his home 4 minutes away, he stopped for 5 minutes, so I'm thinking he dropped off my order at his residence, came back down the road towards me, passed me by again, and kept on going. I called Uber eats, and she acted like I lied about him, said she'd call me, never did, but at least I received my $50 back. I guess he fed his family my food?
STAY AWAY FROM UBER EATS they're a rip-off!
I would never use Uber Eats. Roya, an Uber driver was disgruntled about me not giving her food from my restaurant because she didn't have a hot bag. I blocked her from my shop. So, she wrote a bogus review on Yelp. Uber does NOT care about the HOT food the driver just shoved in the backseat of their car, nor do they interview who they hire and they certainly don't care about your experience with the cold food they just delivered. Take third party delivery out of your equation. Order straight from the restaurant or pick it up yourself. Covid is over and they should be too considering their work ethic.
This company does not have ANY Customer Service whatsoever! They will do all they can to NOT make your botched order, right! I've dealt with them on serval occasions, nobody calls you back and they ALWAYS claim that someone will within 48 hours...that's a lie! I am canceling my subscription immediately!
I placed an order with McDonald's through Uber eats 1st march. The delivery driver was delayed. And on the tracking I kept seeing him driving around in circles, heading back towards McDonald's, and then driving down the sea front. One hour and 20 mins had passed. I then cancelled the order because the food would have been very cold, soggy, and not suitable for the microwave. Uber eats charged me a cancellation fee of £12.66. I of course contacted my bank (barclays) and received the money back into my account straight away. I then placed an order 26th march and again £12.66 was taken for the past cancellation fee, and my order was declined. I contacted my bank (tsb) who returned the money straight back into my account. Today 2nd April £12.66 was again taken from my bank account without me even placing an order. I messaged Uber eats who are just being complete MORONS. So I have now reported them for fraud. Because that is exactly what it is this time round. Be very careful of these corrupted THEIVES.
Most of orders that im doing for uber eats customers is misleading. I get base $6. To go 40km out in the boonies and a tip of $17.
Buy the time I get there and complete the order the customer reduces the tip to $1.00
So basically I went there just for feul and 1.5hr time. Aswell uber app when they do batch orders they scam you by not puting resturant details and not paying you for multiple orders.uber app sucks and is getting worse.pls stay away from uber.its a $#*!ing JOKE! 17.47 but just getting the basw.$6.62.wtf
I put in the wrong adress (I understand I made a mistake) However, in order to get the order the driver is supposed to ask for a PIN number. I did not recieve a phone call of any kind. If the order was recieved by someone else how did they get the PIN? Either the drive keep my cake or he/she never asked for the PIN. As far as I can tell Uber never did a follow up with the driver to confirm this. I realize I made a mistake, but Uber has procedure in place to avoid these kind of mistake and the procedures failed. I did not received any kind of rembursment!
Horrible, incredible lack of attention
I placed a large order of 500 USD (10,000 Pesos more or less). The delivery man couldn't find any product even though everything was there (my friend also bought me something at the same time and found everything...he didn't even find tomatoes, onions, olives, capers) this carrier didn't have any will to work properly just wanted to finish without following any of the item I asked, I explained to him that I also made the I asked for water because I was going to have surgery and for a month or more I won't be able to go out and he was trying to buy only 6 liters. It took 2 hours more than the estimated time as each single stuff he asked me a replace (my phone was ringing every minute...) and in the end he deleted the order because realized that didn't want to take everything I ordered. I contacted the support and they did not support me, they just said that they were very sorry but they did not block the deliver, they did not place a new order, they did not refund me anything for my time or my purchase and the money is still not in my account. Very unprofessional since they bought Cornershop, the quality went really down, there were issues also with Cornershop but at least their customer support help you or give you voucher and refund if the situation was unprofessional (never like today). I do not recommend at all ubereats better you delete your accounts and use other more professional apps.
PS Update, I contacted them other 2 times. The second agent just closed the communication. The third one escalated to a manager whom didn't contact me yet.
I've have had multiple issues with Uber, and the last straws were when they jacked up ride prices during a transit strike and when a restaurant delivered my order because they refused to after they canceled it without direction.
I live in Regina Saskatchewan and the drivers who work for Uber Eats are incompetent and I don't trust them at all! I ordered pizza with my last $25 dollars and not only did the idiot driver deliver my food to someone else, I have to wait up to 10 days for my refund. I sent an email to their customer support stating that the tip I paid was to be refunded as I was not tipping for incompetence! Everything about Uber Eats is a rip off. I will NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN!

I received an Uber Eats gift card so I decided to order some dinner. I chose a restaurant that is less than a mile from my house, because I wanted my food to be hot, and my milkshake to be frozen. When I clicked on the restaurant, it said it would only take 10 to 20 minutes for delivery. After I placed my order, I then get a message saying it would take 45 to 50 minutes! Had I known it would take so long, I would not have ordered a milkshake. I contacted Uber Eats to see if I could cancel my order without penalty, and they refused. I got the usual canned response, saying that if there's a problem to text them back. So when my milkshake arrived, it was completely melted and disgusting. I contacted Uber Eats to let them know, and they initially told me that I could not get a refund. But I persisted, and they finally refunded me for the milkshake. I'm so tired of this Company.
The deliver driver did not speak English! He sat my food in a building next door took a picture and left! 50 dollars worth of food! My kids were hungry and unable to eat! Uber customer service refused to refund my money! And doesn't the driver need your code once he drops off the food!? He had no code because he me er came! The worst app ever it needs to be SHUT DOWN
DO NOT USE. DOORDASH AND GRUBHUB ARE BETTER. Uber eats driver delivered to the wrong house. I never received the order. Ubereats refused to refund me. Lol they will charge you even if you dont get your delivery
DONT USE UBER EATS THEY ARE THE WORST! THE DRIVER LIED TWICE TO ME THINKING IM STUPID! THEN TRIED TO BLAME THE RESTAURANT WHICH WAS DEFINITELY NOT THEIR FAULT. WHEN I COMPLAINED THEY OFFERED ME A PARTIAL REFUND! THEY KNOW WHERE THEY CAN STICK THEIR PARTIAL REFUND! NEVER AGAIN!
I've used Uber Eats twice in the last week and a half, both times I used them I had issues. Food arriving late and cold (I was told no refund for cold and late food). The time before that the restaurant was out of what I ordered and told me to cancel the order with Uber eats. I cancelled the order and Uber eats tried to charge me a $19.99 fee for cancellation. All of this was happening while I was hungry and wanting to eat, instead I was trying to get back the money Uber eats ripped off from me. Not a happy experience and I will never use Uber eats or Uber again.
Picked a place because it was a 15 minute delivery. It was a before work meal for my son and it would arrive in time for him to eat after school and before work. After 45 minutes it was going to be too late before he had to leave. I tried to cancel and they said it would cost me $16 to cancel and get nothing! I tried to talk to 2 representatives and they said that they still had til 4:20 to get in the delivery window. (I'd ordered at 3:08). Had I'd known that 15 minutes was just what they said to get orders and don't actually care if it takes over an hour I would never have ordered. Finally after my food arrived over an hour after ordering it was cold stale fries and cold burger and a melted shake. The 3rd representative gave me a refund. But it took me 20 minutes on chat to get help, and the gaslighting is crazy.
Purchase a Mcdonald with uber eat delivery.

Contacted the customer service a woman called Nicole answer she was rude would talk over us.she refused to let us speak to a manager.she also refused to give us an email or contact address that we could use to write to complaint too.because we were insisting on speaking to a manager she hung up we called again a d the same thing happened. This people driving for this company are thieves and the company is also run by a bunch of thieves.Happy to take your money but don't delivered.
Delivery made by uber was left on the doorstep to go cold.No attempt was made to knock the door as both my partner waited for delivery for over thirty minutes it was by chance I went to the door to see if could see a uber driver I discovered it.Order number 888e6Phoned KFC greenbridge swindon who weren't helpful and said they weren't responsible and it was my responsibility to contact uber and complain yet the order was p.laced on the KFC website so two cases of bad customer service
I have had twice in the last week where my orders were messed up and uber did nothing to rectify and resolve issues. Bad service overall!
Uber driver drove down every street in my Apt complex except mine. My phone number was available but I can only guess the driver didn't know how to use a cell phone. Never use uber eats!
Answer: It is impossible! Emails, messages, non responsive customer service! But they have no problem taking $ you did not authorize them to take!

Answer: We need a class action lawsuit against Uber Eats! Drivers stealing food not held accountable. Food not being picked or wrong orders and Uber eats won't fix it.
