I'm at home dying of Corvid 19! Im 62 years old and I'm almost 63 year old with panic disorder!
On Sunday March 5 2023 i took a German ladies from Germany to SFO! She told me she was Covid Free due to Her tourist Status Here in the United States of America! She Lied to me and infected me She insisted on Sitting in the front with Me! She was More then 50 pounds over weight and told me she was born in 1979! I have been on Social Security Disability income since 2010! Uber Supplements that income! Nobody wants a part time employee that only wants to make $840 per Month! I really only need 600 extra dollars a Month to live a little bit better life style! My Rent is 2250 per Month in Mountain View California! I love my apartment people are friendly here. Right now i don't want to pick up anymore passengers ever again i will just use Doordash and Grubhub to Make life easier for Me! I had not Driven for uber Rides Since 2019 only Uber Eats and Doordash i should of could of would of!
So I scheduled a ride 3 days ahead of time to take me from home to the hospital for an urgent appointment. Everything is scheduled, although the app is terrible and useless the big issue is my credit card gets charged 2 days before the date, oh well seems odd but it is what it is... here's the best part ---ready...5 minutes after my scheduled pickup I get a message from Uber saying no drivers available to pick you up. What a SCAM Uber...never again will I even try to use Uber.
After numerous calls to Uber Support concerning the dysfunctional Driver's App, I still got no resolution which required reimbursement of my rental car fees. Now it's going to cost Uber 10 times more in Arbitration fees instead of doing the right thing!
When I signed up for Uber in February, I was told that I was approved. I then reserved a car through Hertz on the Uber app for February 28,2023. (please see attachment) 3-4hours prior to picking up the rental car I received a phone call from Hertz telling me they did not have a car for me. Then I scrambled to find a car for the next day. When I got a car from Hyre Car on March 1,2023, I immediately sent over my insurance and registration to confirm compliance. (please see attachment). However, an optional document (a sticker for the military base), was not approved and not required. Therefore I continue to implement the Uber app and start making money. But every time I press the GO button on the app; it responds with a red line saying " cannot get online". Since then, I have made numerous contacts with customer support to resolve this issue and start making money. So, I have decided to turn in the rental car until Uber customer support figures this issue out. Therefore I am requesting metro reimbursement for my rental car fees of $249.00, since the issue involved is not a problem I caused, but an IT problem that needs to be worked out. I have attached several documents to support my position. Please respond.
On Friday, March 3rd, 2023, around 9:30 to 10:00 AM CST, in Lees Summit, MO, an Uber assinged driver named Ernesto in Independence, Missouri, was heading to my location in Lees Summit, MO, but he stopped en route for >10 minutes on E. 39th St. In Independence, MO, finally he started coming again after I Uber texted him asking if there was a delay. He started coming again as I could track him in his blue Honda car on the Uber map. When he arrived, I was at the same pick up point I always use and for which the app says to use, but he sped right past me, twice, as he sped around the hotel I was at, and he blew dangerously past me at between 40 and 50mph in the hotel parking lot on his way out of the hotel parking lot which was in a slow hotel loading and unloading zone. I waved my hands and he drove around me on purpose, so I know he saw me, but he sped away. He was already more than 10 minutes late when he arrived. Another Uber driver was immediately assigned by the Uber app but with another 20 minute wait. I will be rethinking using Uber ever again. I searched for a way to report Ernesto in the Uber app but a user can only report their actual driver. Since he did not stop to pick me up, as he knew he was late, he knew he could not get a bad review from me. That needs to be a change made by Uber management. There is no Uber hotline that I could find, except for emergencies, so I will be copying and pasting this complaint in other places on the internet in hopes that someone who cares at Uber, might make a much needed change.
If you wanna be hours late to work and home depend on Uber. They will pull they prices allll the way up like I'm going outta town or something but don't depend on this app alone with Lyft thwy moth just taking your money and not making sure your safe and satisfied. Can't wait to stop taking Uber it was a complete waste of time late everyday because of them & can't call them to complain cause there full of crap. Thanks Uber for having me late to everything and everyday.
When I originally signed up for Uber Eats, there was a promotional offer for new drivers. The details were that if you complete your first 10 deliveries in the first week after signing up, you would receive a $250 bonus. Uber "support" over the phone lied to me by telling me I would receive it. They are literally trained to lie to you if they think you're ignorant and they can get away with it. One of their support "supervisors" told me that I could call back and ask for him specifically. That was just another lie, you cannot request a specific person as it is against their policy.
Recently I was scammed by somebody CLAIMING TO BE UBER SUPPORT, and almost $500 was stolen from my account, and after Uber's investigation froze my account for an entire week, they refused to help me. That actually ACCUSED ME OF LYING, and sharing my account with a FRIEND, and they told me that I was violating their terms of service, when I was the one who was hurt. After I received their highly offensive response, I called support back. When I called back, the woman told me that I WOULD DEFINITELY RECEIVE my money back, and the next person said I would not.
This company trains their employees to lie. I know this to be a fact through many, many experiences. You've been warned.
Also, when your tips end up equalling MORE than your base pay, you know they're corrupt. Unsurvivable wages. Your valuable time is best suited for literally any company that is NOT Uber.
Drivers point of view: Uber constantly abuse and neglect Drivers, As an Uber driver I feel my basic human rights are being violated. No respect from Uber and Costumers. They literally packing their garbage that smells behind my car, costumers make you do their moving heavy furniture, then they go complain too. That is when uber blocks your application. And dont care about Drivers, we are drivers not Slave!
Unfortunately there is no way out of Uber one! You can't undo the auto renewal process no matter what instructions they send from Uber help department, it's simply not an option. So I'd highly recommend avoiding the Uber One membership!
Their app is full of glitch. I made a claim about an issue, the customer service did not fixe my problem but I cannot talk with them anymore as they closed the conversation. Very unprofessional,unpolite and they STOLE my money!
I left my phone in an Uber on January 28,2023. I didn't order the ride. They won't contact the driver who has my phone because the account holder has to do it through their app. The account holder won't do it. We had a falling out and now refuses to help. Sabotaged by that Uber STILL refuses to help. Now I'm without my government issued phone. I got absolutely NO assistance through customer service. It's as though they intentionally refused and now not answering ANY of my requests! UBER YOU SUCK! DISGRACEFUL!
WORST customer experience I've ever received. They overcharged my fare (due to an Engineering Glitch) is what the sales manager told me. Agreed it was their fault but "working on it" for over month now. Randomly closed my case and now are fighting me on the overcharge saying someone else could have taken a trip for the higher amount. Using Lyft everyday now.
Prices are way too high for the morning. Gas isn't that pricey anymore.

My card was charged three time leaving me stranded in Atlanta. When you go under help on the app, no help, The safety line transfers you to the schedule ride line and they transfer you back to the safety line. Mind you, its darks right now! I literally am in tears.

I just started doing Uber again after stopping for a year. I had to update my card info as I now have a new debit card but as soon as I did that they locked my account for fraud and would not let me get the money i maid I spoke to driver support which is terrible they do not listen and you have to go to a higher up to get anything solved they told me they would be submitting a written review for me to the fraud department to get my account unlocked I did that and waited 3 days for the email which I finally received today 1/31/23 telling me to resubmit my card info so I can cash out the money I had previously made as soon as I resubmitted my card info they locked my account for a second time and I had to call support again got hung up on by 3 reps and one lied to me saying they couldn't verify the info I was giving them before hanging up on me by the 4th rep he got my account pulled up in less then 2 minutes and transferred me to a manager the manager told me there was nothing she could do that I would have to go through the whole process again and wait to prove that I am indeed not a fraudster for a second time. And that their app is just sensitive. Your app should not be so sensitive that when people try to update their info that they are locked out and refused the money that you owe them for completing deliveries. What ever yo do stay farrr away from Uber. They will find ways not to pay you the money they owe you for wasting your gas for them
I dont know who 186 DLV in a blue toyota rav 4 is, but this person is absolute garbage. Expect a lawsuit from the husband of the requestor. You need the best possible because this one was complete nonsense and avoidable. He said he was present and never showed. What a POS. The second one said nissan altima and was a chrylser minivan. Can you get anything right after 12am?! Call me back at *******073. I cant wait to hear your bull$#*! excuse.
Took a ride the day after christmas from my moms house to mine. A ride that is usually only 16 bucks was 22 and change because of "surge pricing" ok whatever so i book the trip and my driver was fine until i got out at my house then i got a notification saying my ride was canclled and i was charged 52 and change. Tried to get a hold of customer support they said they would look into it. Its been 29 days and still no anwser or refund. Now the app is saying that the charge is too old to do anything. This may not be an airport but im out. Screw uber and their terriable customer service. I wont use your subpar service again

The driver took me to the wrong destination, he ran 2 red lights. On the first red light he ran, he almost caused us an accident. Don't gamble with your life taking Uber, taxis is safer and cheaper.
