The TurboTax system has an bug around the Deductible Home Mortgage Interest Worksheet and I can not file due to this error. I have called, emailed, chatted and opened several support tickets, but there call back system calls me with no agent on the line and their customer support hangs up on me when I call them. Their customer support process and system is a complete failure and the worst. I want my fee refunded, but have been impossible to get a hold of a person to do that. So, next I will dispute the charge on my credit card due to their incompetence.
I paid extra money in order to have help with my state income tax because we reside in Washington state but my husband has worked in Montana and Idaho. I actually had a "tax expert" walk me through my Montana state tax return and she assured me it was completed properly, now Montana is stating no it wasn't completed properly and they are refunding me a tiny portion of what was expected. Of course nobody at Turbo tax is willing to help! I want my money back from TurboTax. I'll never use them again.

I am an unsatisfied turbo tax customer, will make short and sweet. Don't waste your time and money on this garbage product. At this moment the CRA accepting income tax return via net filling. But this feature is not available by Inuit Canada (turbo tax), only way you can file your taxes is print and mail and this is the trick that Intuit Canada making false announcement (Lying) for netfiling.
I've used Turbo Tax for years. It was always my "go to" tax software. Back in 2011, out of curiosity, I tried a competitor and paid for a personal consult. The outcome was unexpected. Either the guy I worked with didn't have much experience or Turbo Tax just did a great job of educating me. Since then I never felt the need to switch, until today.
The options have changed. For example, I was not able to download a pdf of all past years I've worked with Turbo Tax. Only a few years (I think it's the last 3) are pdf. The remainder were a ". Tax" extension. I believe that means you'll need specialized software to read it. The most frustrating change to me was with regard to the final review: 1) There's no longer the option to look at all tax forms applicable to your situation and make edits directly onto the forms. This is important because during the review of the forms you may have to scroll back to see where you are in the overall process. Sometimes the situation is readily apparent and simple to answer, sometimes not. 2) In this latest version of Turbo Tax, the review asks questions it didn't ask in the interview process. That wouldn't be so bad except 3) when you answer the questions, they don't always align with the answer. For example, there were two checkboxes that supposedly reflected something common with a group from my previous responses during the interview. One of the boxes was obviously misaligned to the wrong response. Although incorrect, the system forced me to continue to choose the wrong answer or it would not go forward. 4) The other issue was that, if you respond incorrectly during the review process, you cannot go back and fix it. If it's one of the questions not asked during the interview process, then there's no workaround for you to correct it. This can greatly and instantly increase the amount you pay in taxes and reduce the amount of your refund. It definitely did for me.
I used TurboTax for many years. I worked out of state. TurboTax did not correctly file my Oklahoma taxes. It is impossible for me to contact them for support. A real ripoff for the price.

Then a change on the refund transfer fee, on their TBG site l, they had added 40 more to transfer.
Now it's 147$.

One agreement was agreed to file, yet it's not my initial fee agreement.
I agreed to one price not prices changing when it's time to collect our of my refund.

I feel, I'm waiting for a refund, that I'm told will be in my account in four days, but possibly never show.

Tyrbo tax update: you Do NOT get expert advice LIARS could not tell me where they screwed up my return saw my federal and state reduce for no reason after pay and file... NOW I gotta do an amendment they said... CAUSE OF THEM. ILL NEVER USE AGAIN WORSE THAN EVER. RIPPING PPL OFF NOW... I want my 78.00 back FIRST they told me Fed and state to file was 39.00 after finished fed they changed to another 39.00 AFTER INTO THE RETURN. FO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TURBO TAX.!
Had an issue, takes 20-30 minutes to get to an agent. Agent couldn't resolve issue and still charged me $54.00 just to talk to them and didn't tell me they charge to speak to an agent. Then charged me $120.00 for filing 2 w-2s that I filed myself, charging me the same thing twice. Asked for an explanation, couldn't give it to me, spent an hour waiting on the phone for nothing, they tried to get rid of me and told me to fill out a refund request form which the person said I basically won't get because I already filed my taxes. Within minutes I was denied. They will rob you.
I requested a refund from Turbo Tax since my taxes kept being rejected, so I ended up letting a tax professional do mine. I paid over $80 and received a email saying the 100% Guarantee was only for a certain product. I would not recommend.
Went to file my taxes with Turbo Tax as I did last year. I only make $30,000.00 a year and when I went to file, Turbo Tax said I needed to upgrade to their deluxe addition to claim $85.00 from my 401K deposits. They wanted $31.00 + to file my Federal taxes and that the State was another charge. Decided I wasn't going to pay the almost $70.00 to get my $85.00 credit towards my deductions. I went to FreeTaxUSA and they came up with the same numbers for my refunds as TurboTax and it was all FREE!
Avoid TurboTax unless you want to pay their rip off charges!

Have used Turbo Tax to do my returns for 9 years. I file quickly and simply. Advertised FREE that did not happen ended up paying to file federal, state, and direct deposits! Then low and behold my refund was sourced out to some bank in CA and they charged a FEE to deposit it in my account! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED, WILL NOT BE USING TURBO TAX IN THE FUTURE.
It has been almost 28 days and I have ABSOLUTELY NO idea when my return will be in. This WILL be my ABSOLUTE LAST time using TurboTax. I e-filed with them and they promised me that my taxes would be here in about 21 days and everytime I go on the app to see the status its still in the SAME SPOT! I try to get help and answers from them but they NEVER have an direct answer for me! NOT TO MENTION last year when I filed with them I NEVER received my STATE TAXES from last year! When I finally got ahold to some one their attitude was horrible and they said that they would get back with me and they NEVER DID! I was very hesitant on using them again this year but I decided to give them another chance, that was the WORST MISTAKE of my life that I will never make again! The IRS are saying that they have no information on my return and I have to wait but my return was excepted on the next day of filing. IM SOO OVER IT WITH THEM! I ADVISE NOT TO USE TURBO TAX AGAIN Especially WHEN YOUR AN EXCEPTIONAL TAX PAYER
Don't purchase any of the recommended so called tax help because when you call them there worthless can't help or fix your problems go to a real tax pro turbo tax employees are IDIOT'S.
They advertise free no matter filing status, NO. Support, Sucks. Charge you no matter if you file or not. Refuse any refunds even though they say 100% guaranteed. If you do file complaint, they offer you 20% discount off of something that is suppose to be FREE FREE FREE FREEE

I've used turbo tax for the for the past 3 years and I am 100% satisfied. Its very professional and easy to use for not cost. Strongly recommended!
Its a shame, i have used Turbo tax for almost 30 years. I tried doing my daughters taxes, they are simple, so per turbo, they should be free. They cost more for my daughter who is under 18 to file then i paid for an itemized return. Customer service is useless weather you call in or use the chat option. It is a shame, but i have to part ways. It seems they have turned into a scam.
This is the second year in a row that TurboTax has charged me 39 dollars for my FREE tax return. Once you fill out the forms, in order to efile you must pay 39 dollars. ITS NOT FREE. MISREPRESENTAION.
They lie about fees until the end let you pay and file and THEN try to verify an email so if for any reason you can not get in your freaking email they are going to screw you out of your money 100% I will NEVER us them again... side note their IA voice is creepy AF and will argue it's weird.
Answer: Very difficult to get, had to call numerous times to get a response and then there was no, let me help you with that. They were uncaring about my situation, I had to pursue questioning what they can do and would end up forwarding me to departments that did not respond.
