Warning do not use them. Horrible experience. Don't pay, they will not refund you and will email within the hour you saying they don't offer 100% satisfaction. I started filing, I paid but at the end they need more info. I didn't have the info and couldnt get help finding it. I called customer service, right away, they couldn't help so I request a refund because I couldn't complete my tax return. They denied the refund and even though I paid I couldn't a actually file my taxes. Support request *******366 and when they emailed me they spelled my name wrong even after they had all my paperwork with my name to refer to!

Bait and Switch

What was supposed to be free, they up-charged me three times. First for $89 because I had one item on schedule d, then a second $40 charge for filing in one state, which was supposed to be free. Then lastly would have charged another $30 to subtract from refund. Free LOL. Never again will I look at Turbo Tax.

I have used TurboTax twice now, never again! Both times they calculated I would get a rebate and they made errors, When I tried to talk to someone for help because I utilized they free TurboTax I was hung up on and a recording came on and said "your phone number has been added to the do not call list" My taxes should have been easy, both times they screwed me. Bad

Worthless

I have filed my taxes for the last few years and this year this ask of my wife's AGI for 2020, but we filed a joint return and Turbo Tax does not separate our AGI's, so I was forced to mail in the returns. I will find a better solution next year.

DON: T PURCHASE INTUIT Turbo Tax!
I purchased turbo tax to help me with my tax preparation. Actually may tax prep. Is very straight forward, I just did not want to have to read through the numerous IRS documents required to file a simple tax return. Intuit support is non-existent. All you get is a bunch of FAQs and some video that don't solve my prob. Tried to E-File, failed Turbo Tax says my AGI from last year does not match my entry, WRONG! I even went as far as to obtain a transcript from the IRS to confirm my entry in Turbo Tax was correct, yep it is correct but Turbo Tax will not let me E-File cause it says my AGI is wrong! So I tried to contact Intuit: phone (no good just recordings), chat - well they gave me an incident # and a phone number I called it and some guy tells me my AGI must be wrong, I explain how I know my AGI is correct. Then this guy wants to remote access my Turbo Tax i. E. look at every thing I have entered in my tax filing including my social security #. I tell him, I am computer literate and I don't want some stranger looking at my tax forms, he then says "then you go fix" it and he hangs up! Well not only have I paid for the Turbo Tax but I also paid an extra fee for State E-filing. Can't get a refund from Turbo Tax so I guess I will have to call my CC and have them dispute the charge!

May not use them again! There were a number of software problems encountered in completing our 2021 taxes. For example, answered all questions on all screens (they did have all of our 2020 tax info to bring frwd), neared the end, and realized they had "skipped" over asking about any of our 1099's, and we have six. Trying to 'back up' to find the input area, the boxes were all red. There are no addendum worksheets like what they used to provide (i. E., calculation of taxable amounts of Social Security), there was no worksheet to show the difference between standard deduction vs itemization, and there was no final analysis of comparison of current year vs previous years, etc. Extremely frustrated as we save those comparisons and analysis forms with our copies of 1040. We always file as if we are itemizing, and we want those forms & costs saved, even if we are taking std deduction. It was all very minimal, all stripped down, just give the public the basic and not a single thing more!

If I could rate negative stars I would. I've been using Turbotax every year for close to 10 years. This is the first year I've noticed they've outsourced their refund to a group out in California called "TPG Products". I was supposed to receive almost $5000 for a net refund and TPG sent me a refund of less than $3000. This is also happening to many others, suffice it to say I will be filing taxes elsewhere next year.

First, this was to be my 3rd year using TurboTax, and in the past I have been fine.
While doing my taxes today, the system calculated my AGI as $115,000. I wish!
I had two experts look at it and tell me that it was correct. I am not a mathematician but I can add basic numbers and see that my income is not $115,000. One of the experts tried to tell me that it was because I had sold stock which is not accurate. All of my financial papers were linked directly from the source.
I called my financial advisor and he also assured me that that number was not accurate.
After 6 hours of trying to delete and reload, I went no to the online tax preparer that my daughter uses and input the exact same information and my income was less than half of what they were telling me it was.
Crazy! Their software cant add?
Never again!
Also the "tax specialist" Had to tell me several times that he was a lawyer and had been one for 14 years… I guess he just wants to work at TurboTax now? He also turned on a camera so I could see him? That was weird! And he was making the smirk the whole time he was supposed to be helping me

TURBO TAX IS A JOKE

The place they use when you pay from your account is trash. I signed up for the free service and got a 350$ bill. I could of went somewhere better for that price. COMPLETE GARBAGE! I wish i could give this place 0 stars.

Filed taxes with Turbo like I did last 2yrs and like usual requested funds to be deposited into my bank account. IRS sent refund on 02/08/22 to this Santa Barbara Tax Group and it is now 03/02/22 and supposedly my funds are being held due to fraudulent parameters set in place by this bank but they disbursed Turbo Tax their payment from the possibly fraudulent account. Call Turbo and was told sorry u opted to use a this service and it's a 3rd party we can't help you. Almost one month and no updates calling them is a waste of your time. They give a different excuse each time. Let's not mention that I never received an email/letter to let me know my funds were being held. It's a little suspicious use the same excuse of "Fraud" with no resolution. Look at the BBB reviews same complaint from others and Turbo Tax reviews.

Ok first, i am a TurboTax Devote. I have been using the product since 1994. Their Small Business editions. Had made life a lot easier at tax time. This year however. They just lost a life long customer. Yup. Over 27 yrs but not a single dime from me again.

Fully updated Windows 11 Pro 64, Kaspersky AV Suite.

Exactly what legitimate software requires you to disable your anti-virus in order to operate. Not a single program i use requires this. That's your first flag.
After the initial installation, program updates and operates. But if you close it... you will get an update error and failure every time you open it again unable to report, or file taxes. Flag #2
I have found a slight work around for this... But why would i pay good money to have to reinstall the program every time i use it? Flag #3 Ease of use just went out the window.

And If i find out that Installing this program is destroying my SSD's not only will their be another flag but a Lawsuit to follow.
Customer service is non-existent. Flag #4

Yeah, how many strikes can you accumulate in 1 yr? Ask Intuit, looks like they are going for a record.

In conclusion. Purchase and use this product at your own risk. But it's the last time this 27 yr consumer of TurboTax will purchase anything from Intuit.

They have lost a great customer! They said it was like $39.00 my mony went to their bank and bomm they got that fee aka monies and tell me i have to wait 1 ro 2 days or more to get my refund WTF never again will i use them or anyplace that connected to them OVER! First. Than tell

Turbo tax seemed to do fine until it came time to efile. It continually circled back to a student 1098-t file and tried to add a second son named the same as my first on to my personal info. Even when the person added was deleted it continued to stop my e-filing. E filing was the entire reason for buying the program. Also there is no way to contact anyone to sort through this. It obviously was not tested enough before it was put out there for sale. Do not purchase this program it is the cause of much aggravation!

I've used Turbo Tax for years and have been happy. However, I itemize and haven't minded paying the fee to send electronically. I've done my sister's simple taxes, no itemizing, for a couple of years. I input the data and print the forms for her. This year after inputing her data I find I can't print the forms. I can only pay to file electronically before I can see or print the forms. Turbo Tax says I can't use the free form because I've paid in the past. Don't purchase Turbo Tax!

My experience with Jessica who is one of the Representatives at Turbo Tax was excellent. She assisted me and helped me overcome a few challenges last night. She was patient with me and did an excellent job with communicating with me effectively on how to correct my mistakes. She was professional and made completing my taxed easy. First off they charge $189.00 to do it yourself online (for audit proof), and this year they are doing some new bs. Which is this credit karma money card bs. Whatever you do hit the back button and go back out to submit your own bank account info. Otherwuse these are the issues you will deal with. Because if you use that credit karma card you can't talk to no customer service representative about your money. They suspend your card if you spend so much in one day. You can't go to the bank and withdraw without paying these white folks more money to get your money off this card. On their website where it says that you can go to CVS, Walgreens, krogers, and etc. That's all a mf lie I went to all of them and they said there is no such a thing. You also can't transfer your money to your bank I tried this as well and it did a reverse. $#*!ing my bank account $#*! all up, putting me in the negative. Whatever you do don't choose that card. You are giving them complete control on how you spend your money. I would give their $#*! a zero

Costly mistake

Turbo tax said I was getting a refund 0f $3300, after IRS found their mistake I got $1800. I talked to customer service, who kept insisting that it must have been something I did.

Poor service

I payed almost two hundred dollars for turbo tax to do my taxes for mew and they havent done anything for me in three weeks. Awful company. I have sent emails for help and no response. Also there suppose to have live helpers and the just send back auto mated responses that just confuse me. I payed 179.76. I haveproof on my checking account purchase history.

I have checked with IRS and received $641.31 less than what Tax Products Group (TPG), a TurboTax partner deposited to bank. They supposed to take out $105.75 but took $747.06 instead. Bad business.
