TurboTax sucks don't use them they are all talk and messed my taxes all up.they got paid instantly. And 9 days later I'm still waiting on my advance refund loan. They are the worst did nothing I hired them to do.

Every other screen, theres an opportunity to upgrade, and the option to NOT is always hard to get to. I was getting ONE tax exemption that saved me $25 dollars, and I woild have had to pay FORTY to get their premium plan (which, naturally, just turned into a subscription) in order to get that. F*uck turbotax.

I efiled yesterday as I've done for many years using Turbo. For the 2nd consecutive year, Turbo, in error, refers to box 14a on my 1099-R. No such box exists. I call their CS # and after holding for nearly 25 mins in silence, I finally ask the clueless but polite agent what's going on. She tells me she's chatting with someone. Neither provided a solution. She advised me that "an expert" would call me today between 9-11am. Now, 12 hours later, still no call. So I begin a messenger chat with a "Benjamin" via Facebook who offers a solution requiring doing an amendment once the State accepts my return. He's crass and refers to me as a "boomer." Don't use them! No concern for their loyal clients! I'll go elsewhere next year after about 15 years.

Turbo Tax tries to force you to pay for their Premium services and impossible to process your tax returns without paying for this services. I followed the directions from Turbo Tax and did not work. So, I decided to try H&R Block - boom - perfect and no hidden fees. Do yourself the favor and go with H&R Block! I also saw that Turbo Tax had to pay millions for forcing such services, and it appears they have not learned their lesson!

Used TurboTax for quite a while with no issues, until the IRS audited is and found out that TurboTax is a bunch of idiots and had a ton of errors on our return. Called them and they said too bad even though we submitted the details in questions and supposedly had a tax professional review it before submitting. Stay away from them, they won't even cover the fees for the bad filing that they screwed up and they throw you away and provide no help to fix their mistakes. Bunch of idiots and scammers, stay far far away

I would give no stars if possible. We used Turbo Tax for years only to find out when we hired an accountant that that Turbo Tax calculated many years of our returns incorrectly causing us to owe money every year when in fact the federal government and our state OWED US money. Turbo Tax cost us more money to have prior year returns amended and refilled by our accountant. DO NOT EVER USE TURBO TAX!

They will ripp you off! I got audit because they did my taxes incorrect. I paid them $152.00 and now they don't want to refund my money back!

Current TV ad shows joy of not doing taxes. A gay wedding is not appropriate. The software is sufficient.

NEVER and I repeat NEVER keep money on this account! To start I have a honeymoon in less than two weeks, and was calling to enable international purchases. However they informed me they only work in the USA and you can only withdraw up to $3000 in 30 days. So there would be no way for me to withdraw $5000. Or to transfer that amount. However the customer service representative that I was speaking to (when calling the number on the back of my card) told me they cannot help me however their supervisor could and he will contact me. As we are on the line another 800 number called me and said that they were a supervisor for the turbo debit card and their representative let them know what was going on and it's okay to disconnect the other line. He then told me he could help me get all of my money out of my account. He gave me ALL of my account info INCLUDING my last 4 of ss number, address, DOB, transaction history and even how old my account was. He said he can allow me to withdraw half today and half tomorrow he just needs me to verify the verification code sent to my phone number connected to the account. I gave him the code texted to me and two minutes later the call dropped. I instantly called the number back and it was no longer in service. I tried to log into my account online which took some time since they changed my password. Once I got in I noticed a $2000 wire transaction to a random email. I called the number on my card about 10 more times and constantly was hung up on. Finally I got a hold of a dispute supervisor who did help me, disputed the issue, and unfortunately closed my account and would not let me withdraw the $3000 Remaining in my account. They will send me a check in 2 to 3 weeks. And that is how my honeymoon got ruined and I got scammed. Do not use this company as their OWN EMPLOYEES are assisting the scammers the representative led me directly into this trap and provided all information. I hope something gets done about this issue. It is truly unfortunate when you can't trust calling the number on your card for help.

Evil, nasty, malignant company. They will take your money every year for the "audit defense" no problem, but when you need support or have a problem because of an issue with their software and get audited by the IRS, just know that TirboTax AND audit defense are going to tell you to go f*ck yourself.

I was excited to get to do taxes with turbo tax on iPad…big mistake! Once printed for filing no flexibility to re-adjust numbers and redo another return... you are locked in unless you are amending formally to IRS. IRS sends me letter my numbers from my profit and loss statements were transferred over wrong to my W240. Really TurboTax? Consequently I owe an additional $950 in taxes. I've been using turbo tax for over 25 years and never had this happen on desktop where there is more control and you have more accessibility to diff. Parts of your return. Also my state sent me an additional bill which I was able to straighten out but very suspicious this happened with iPad version BEWARE of the iPad version…Limited access to numbers on your return and costs double to use from desktop version.

The past 2 weeks I have been uploading my documents. Today when calling for help I was requested to upgrade to full service. I was told my existing data would be save and usable. The new full service assistant told me I need to start over! After asking her to escalate to a manager the line dropped after being on hold for 40 minutes and no response to the messages from Vicki in TX. Called support line which stated I will be contacted in 119 minutes. Then called to lodge a complaint and was circled to customer service which stated they would contact me in about 1 hour. Flat footed waste of time by upgrading my account to Full Service. Was not even able to speak with a CPA, only assistant. The expectation is higher with Full Support. Full Support does not mean assistant. Still no calls after 1 hour. Recommend using outside services if you need full service. Unfortunately my accountant turned 80 and needed to retire. This turbo tax expereince has been terrible even with an upgrade.

I paid $74 to file my taxes with Turbotax but they were unable to help me to either e-file or mail the documents, spent numerous hours with their staff and no one could help and yet they refused to pay my money back, complained to BBB and they didnt care because they are thugs and steal people's money! Their software sucks, i had the same issue last year spending so much time and no success importing my stocks transactions

Will not transfer complete information from the CRA, and when it does the same transfer takes place several times. No help time is offered.

I just spent hours doing my taxes on TurboTax, just data input and never requesting or accepting help from their chatbot or live people. Didn't need it. My return was easy. On their website, prices range from FREE to $119 for complex self-employed returns. I was neither. Just a W2 and some unemployment. When I was finally ready to file, they demanded $179.00! $179! No explanation why my self-entered simple return was 179X higher than the FREE return I initiated as a result of their advertising. This is WAY beyond their top tier price listed. I used NONE of the extra services they tried to force on me. I saw multiple notations that they had uses for my data beyond tax reporting to the IRS. I always said NO. Just let me input some numbers. But after their bait and switch pricing, I realize they have all my data, have proven their lack of morals or conscience, and I believe my personal data has probably been sold a thousand times since I told them where to go with their bait and switch. Dishonest punks!

Spent 2 days filling it out...$44 they said. Day 2 it asked me to start again. At the end they charged me $167. And it never got filed. Used them for a few years. Now just another scam website. Using every lying sneaky crap you would find on all the sleaziest scams. DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME or MONEY. Read the reviews. That is a lot of!'s.

Just called the sleazy thieves. THEY DON"T DO REFUNDS... and as they know... there is nothing you can do without a 10K lawyer. NEVER AGAIN! And they don't even tell you unless you waste half an hour on hold... spelling your name 15 times... to a computer that must speak a foreign language.! It never did get it right...
I can not stress enough... DO NOT USE THESE PARASITES.

What a mistake it was!
I thought I would get a very professional service because Intuit (the company that owns TurboTax) is a good company, but NO!
The most unprofessional people, they couldn't do my taxes in time, they didn't know how to do specific things related to my business in the tax return, their customer service is the worst, and you can't trust them (which is the worst thing), I just got a letter from the IRS to pay an additional $1000!

I have my own business so my tax return is both personal and business which is why CPAs usually charge more. TurboTax charged about $300 less BUT I had to do most of the work myself, and they didn't set things right so now I need to pay $1000 more after I paid already and I didn't get the refund they calculated I should get, everything took too long, and I had to ask for an extension for the first time ever just because the "professional" took her time.
They can't guarantee anything, I had to call them about 4 times and they just told me "we can't do anything".

Don't do the mistake I did. Go to a real pro, DO NOT USE TURBOTAX

I did my taxes on Turbo tax and the IRS made some changes to my income. When I called the rep, she erased all of my info and caused my taxes to be amended. Now they want to take $183.82 from my checking account and I haven't received my taxes yet. Plus they are charging money and I thought it was free. Be aware of this company, I believe this agency is a fraud, they were on the news for wrongfully
over charging people to do their taxes. Intuit/ Turbo sent me a debit reminder that my account will be debited $ 183.82 for Turbo tax service in which I haven't received any taxes yet. In addition, they don't consider if you have any auto pay that coming from your account for bills, which can cause you bank account to go lack of funds. Thanks a lot Turbo!
