My experience was good other than the picking up of the mattress. I was told it would happen one day and then it ended up happening at the very last minute the next. It was really tight for time and made me nervous. They could do a better job of scheduling the pick ups more precisely instead of it just being an all day waiting game. Also having a phone number of the actual pick up driver would have been helpful.
Mattress arrived with box half off. It was tightly packaged upon drop-off and it was very disappointing to get a dirty mattress on the other end.
The staff that I spoke with on the phone and the person who delivered were great. The lazy, uncooperative, useless driver that refused to pick up my items, causing me to have to move everything to a storage unit at U-Haul for a later pick up, probably shouldn't be used as a reliable driver. Granted I had more than I was originally quoted, and happily paid the difference. I am 5'4 120 lbs female, and I drove 40 minutes round trip to load and unload a U-Haul in 1 hour and 30 minutes. I would have loaded the truck for the lazy driver, but he just didn't want to do the job. Oh! And that was after completely driving by the house and lying about calling me, the customer, the day prior (originally scheduled pick up date).
My item arrived damaged, and your team offered to take it back, have it repaired, and return it. The repair was well done, and the item returned in good shape. It was obvious that you all did the best job possible. The price was about double what I expected to pay, but then, I have no background in this field.
Outstanding customer service from scheduling with TSI (very helpful, suggested packing tips, and was extremely flexible with changes in my schedule as they occurred) to pick-up by XPO Logistics. XPO driver called in advanced and arrived early, which really worked out great for my schedule and he was extremely helpful, personable and very professional/knowledgeable. He went out of his way to ensure that my mattress/box spring was wrapped correctly and was secure in the truck. I would highly recommend both companies to friends and family.

TSI did not show up during the time they said they were coming. They ended up coming and taking the mattress without the bill of lading and without calling or letting us know they were coming. TSI did not charge us for the bill of lading so that was nice but it could have went better. Overall customer service was great but contacting driver was frustrating.
From my first point of contact the customer service at TSI was wonderful. I didn't have any idea of how I was going to get various furniture items, china, stemware, etc from my mother's home in Tenn to Texas. As it was not a full truck load of items but it was more than I could take in a car. TSI took care of it all in an efficient, timely and well organized manner. I will use them again in the future and highly recommend their services.
Expensive, but excellent service on a complicated pick up (TX) and delivery (CT) of a family antique.

Communication enroute could have been better.
My e-mail was the one on file, but I only got one update, pick up, which I already knew. I found out it had been delivered to the restoration person when she called me. (I had checked in with TSI 24 hours before and they had no information - they told me to call back in three days!)
TSI got my address wrong which caused them to keep my delivery at warehouse. They didn't inform me of this. Instead they let the delivery date pass. I had to call twice before anything was done.
I have never left a bad review in my life, however, I must warn people against using TSI Shipping services.
Beware of their white glove service which they up-sell for an extra $500 promising a professional moving crew will wrap and prepare your furniture-type items for transport. This was not my experience. When the movers arrived, they claimed they were in too much of a rush to wrap my furniture items and promised they would handle preparing the furniture when they got back to the warehouse. This did not happen. My items arrived 3,000 miles away, unwrapped and damaged.
Every company has a bad day, so things happen, but despite my efforts to come to a reasonable solution, TSI has yet to remedy the situation. I am not asking for much - only a refund for the white glove service, which was not provided.

Absolute worst experience of my life. My daughter moved from California to Colorado. I was quoted 5 days. # weeks later she finally got her mattress and box spring. The communication was horrible. They said they would call me back...never did. They finally stopped all communication.
I was not pleased. Several problems. I told them the dimensions of the china cupboard, that it was heavy. The 2 men who came for pickup were both small, and seemed to struggle with navigating such a tall and heavy piece of furniture, they were surprised it didn't come apart into top and bottom pieces, which I had mentioned prior that it didn't. So I'm not sure they handled it carefully enough.
There was a small crack in one of the front window glass panes, not more than 4-6 in. Long. They called me when the china cupboard arrived at the first warehouse just to be sure I was aware there was a crack in it, which I was, and the pick-up crew had taken photos of it. Then quite a few days later, maybe more than a week, I was called to say the whole pane had shattered. Not a big deal, it can be replaced, I hadn't taken insurance out on it, and they said they would send me a minimal compensation, which was fine. But I can't imagine how it would have shattered, making me think it wasn't handled properly.
It took weeks longer than anticipated to get it delivered, once it was picked up. No reason given for the delay.
Upon delivery 2 door handles had broken off and there was a crack in the wood at the back of the cupboard, which further makes me think it wasn't handled carefully enough. This china cupboard was moved from So. California to Salem Oregon previously without a problem, so not sure why a shorter trip between Salem Oregon and Port Angeles had so many problems.
I had to ship a couple pieces of furniture from one state to another while being across the country. TSI provided the solution and when I couldn't get confirmation from the recipient of the items arriving, TSI was able to provide me the name of the person who accepted the items. Later I was able to verify with the recipient that the items arrived safely. I'm glad I engaged TSI for transport and would do so again if needed.
Great overall. Easy and efficient. My only thing would being able to select from a couple of potential pick up and drop off days and times.

Answer: From what I can tell, a scam. They charged me $2000; confirmed a pickup date, and didnt show up. Since then they've been dodging calls and emails.
