TSI is perhaps one of the worst companies we've ever done business with. They are unprofessional, discourteous, and could not care less about the items you are shipping. Our order arrived late, and every box was busted. They didn't even try to tape closed the parts of the containers that were wide open. Clearly the employees didn't handle with care or care to mend anything to prevent further damage along the way. This damage was on all 4 boxes that actually made it to the destination. There were 5 boxes total. It took them an additional 3 weeks to locate and then deliver the 5th article. During that period, I logged over 8 hours of time spent on hold, talking to employees and writing emails just to see if the package was ever located and once it was, would it would be delivered. Renee Goryl, the Quality Assurance Manager was unprofessional on multiple occasions and had no gratitude for our patience nor concern for our lost personal items. She wouldn't let us speak with her supervisor and when we wrote him emails, he ignored them and sent them back to her. After a month, the 5th package finally arrived torn open on every end including the front. This one had framed pictures of deceased family members so I was anxious and didn't even want to see the internal damage that I suspected. Naturally, the glass was shattered, scratching the pictures. Video was immediately sent along with pictures of all the busted boxes. The companies response was "you didn't take out additional insurance so there is nothing we can do". After hours and hours of research, I eventually got in touch with someone in the CEO's office. It was astonishing how difficult it was to find that information. TSI does not have numbers or emails listed and Renee, the Quality Assurance Manager, refused to give out any information when we requested it. The employee I spoke to in the CEO's office was kind and offer an apology. The company as a whole is terribly disorganized, handles your belongings like they are trash and is very difficult to reach ( except of course when one is interested in booking. Then they are eager for your money. I certainly wouldn't want anyone else to experience what we did which is why Ive taken my time to write this lengthy and detailed review.

My experience with TSI Shipping was superb

My experience with TSI Shipping was superb. I booked just one week prior to my preferred date. I was in a hurry and TSI was able to schedule the pickup date on the exact date that I needed. After just 6 business days, I received a call from the designated company to schedule a delivery. All of my boxes arrived in excellent conditions. Overall, there were 13 boxes that I shipped from DC to FL.

Great Small Move with TSI!
We had a fabulous experience with moving a very full dorm room's worth of stuff cross country with TSI. They took care of everything, sending out boxes and packing material, arranging for pick up and delivery, and at a very reasonable price. The customer service was excellent, with ongoing communication from Heather in the office. They answered all our questions, and helped with all our needs. Great company, great service, would absolutely use them again.

I had a small move across country during a pandemic which meant I could not drive my things. TSI cost a fraction of what a regular mover would have cost if they took such a load, and I saved quite a bit on postage. I still need a few things moved, and plan to use them again soon.

The pickup came earlier than arranged and didn't call or text when he was there. We were in the backyard and if my husband hadn't happened to come just as the drive got in his truck to leave, we would have missed him.

The tracking number did not accurately show where the shipment was.

It took twice as long to be delivered than I was told.

Overall great experience! Great price, communication, and super fast delivery! Boxes and shrink wrap provided to ship mattress and box springs were difficult to package up but in the end it worked out.

The first part of my experience was pretty good

The first part of my experience was pretty good. Easy to get a quote and book the service. Pick up was timely and the driver was courteous, assuring me that he would shrink wrap my seven boxes on a pallet back at the warehouse. Things went awry after that. The boxes did arrive all together, shrink wrapped on a pallet and COMPLETELY smashed in all around. Thankfully, I wrapped and arranged the items well, so nothing was broken. My daughter, who received the boxes, was extremely distressed unpacking every box, thinking that something had certainly broken. After this minor drama, I received an email from TSI informing me that I had (already) been charged additional money because I gave the driver the wrong slip. When I called to inquire about this, I was told that I was sent three separate emails and that I needed to print up the one that said 'hand to driver'. To be clear, I was told when I booked the move that I would need to print up an email and hand the paper to the driver, so I knew that I had to do that.
Thinking that I had been the one to mess up (it happens!) I checked my email, every folder, to find the attachment I was SUPPOSED to hand the driver. I never received three emails. I received one email. This is the one I printed up and gave the driver. When I explained all of this to the woman at customer service she informed me, very slowly and carefully like I was a child, that she had been doing this for a LONG time and that of course she sent me all three. I checked again. Every folder. With multiple search criteria. I only got one email.
I'm irked about having to pay an extra $50, but it's not that big of a deal. The reason I won't be using this company again is because their rep made it clear that they will not take responsibility for a mistake nor even actually entertain the idea that a mistake may have been made on their part. It told me what I needed to know about them.

Everything was great with the shipment

Everything was great with the shipment. I received my materials on time, pick up was on time and delivery was quick. However a week after receiving my items, I received and email stating I would be charged an additional $50 for not providing the bill of lading to the pick up person. I did however provide this document and had all papers and information printed out for the driver. I tried to explain this to Kathy Temple who was not responsive to my feedback and put an unauthorized charge of $50 on my credit card. For a good experience I will not use your services again or recommend you to a friend as I followed all instructions as told, and was charged additionally because your company misplaced the paperwork.

I was initially excited about using this company because everything online appears to be very professional and it was one of the first companies to pop up in my search. I contacted them online for a quote and an automated quote was sent immediately with contact information. They automatically started sending generated emails from an assigned logistics manager. In my case, it was Kathy Temple. I called her directly and a guy answered the phone. He was very nice, but mumbled under his breath that they were "so behind" and he just needed to "finish up this one task." After keeping me on hold so he could finish "that one task," he transferred me to Kathy's line, which she did not answer. I left a voicemail and let her know that I would follow-up via email with my questions. When I sent the email, I got an automated response saying it would take a little longer than usual to get back to me because of the high volume. This was three weeks ago and I never received a call or an email back. Not only that, but I stopped receiving emails, which means they had time to remove me from their system, but not to respond! I completely understand reaching out to let a potential customer know you are at capacity and cannot take any additional reservations at that time, but to be completely unresponsive is unprofessional and downright rude. I would never recommend this company and suggest you seek another shipping company to handle your goods. If this is the level of service they provide from the start (or lack thereof), you can bet on having additional issues with your move.

East Coast Move

I had to move on short notice. Within a week of my lease expiring I was able to schedule a pickup for 12 boxes. I booked my order through Kathy which was great and very accesible throughout the process. Boxes arrived to my final destination in just six business days. (They has promised 5-7 days) Scheduling the delivery was a quick and easy process. Definitely recommend for small moves.

We were so happy to find this company when it was time to move college kid's 10 boxes of stuff across the country. They sent out the boxes with extras, and only charged for the ones actually shipped. They arranged pickup and delivery, and it was so much easier than we imagined. They kept in constant contact with us to let us know where everything was, and followed up afterwards to make sure we were happy. A fabulous choice for any small move!

We had 4 incongruent items shipped from my father-in-law's home in California to all the way east to our son's apartment in Maryland. Prep instructions & communication w/TSI was clear & easy. Pick up & delivery was prompt & on time, & everything arrived as it had been picked up. And that included delivery to a 4th floor walk up apartment. We would definitely use TSI again, & would highly recommend this company. Thank you.

Our overall service with TSI was very positive

Our overall service with TSI was very positive. I enjoyed speaking with Kathy, Heather, and John, as they were very helpful. The problems I had were with the service in with we received with our shipping company. They were very difficult to work with and I will not ever use their service again. However, I did appreciate everything TSI did to render the issue.
