We had to have a large piece of furniture moved from Indiana to Vermont, TSI had the best pricing and best customer service that we could find and we looked. Very happy with the care that was taken and the service from the movers themselves. Delivery time was just fine, it only took a few weeks for pick up and 13 days to delivery.
The whole TSI process was top notch! Communication, ETA, etc. all went as discussed. I was unfamiliar with TSI and somewhat apprehensive at shipping a lovely piece of furniture In this manner...all handled carefully and professionally... have already recommended them... would definitely use them again!

I was told and paid extra for crating. It was never crated. I deserve a refund
There was a miscommunication at first and a mover contracted by TSI came unannounced and wanted to take my things without packing them first. I refused and called TSI who quickly remediated the error. The real crew came a week later and were the nicest two guys... very professional, courteous, and efficient. The shipment was about 25 days in transit, and was delivered on the day promised. Everything was in perfect condition and I'm very happy with the experience. I mailed some less precious items to myself to save money and USPS managed to break about 20% of them so my only regret is that I didn't spend a bit more have TSI handle everything. I would definitely use TSI again.

The men who picked up and delivered were fantastic. They carefully packed and unpacked my belongings and were very helpful.
I had a grandfather's clock shipped from Seattle to Philadelphia. I was requested to have the weights and pendulum removed and packed for shipping. I had a clockmaker in Seattle do that. The clock arrived intact in Philadelphia along with the pendelum. However, you lost the weights. They are still searching for the weights. I am dissatisfied.
From beginning to end, my experience with TSI was outstanding. Their customer service was professional, helpful and prompt. They returned every call and email within minutes providing explicit details. There were no hidden costs (one company I called wanted to charge me per foot from the truck to the door). I was having a very special piece transported from Baltimore, MD to Richmond, VA. It was picked up on time, wrapped meticulously and delivered without incident. When the delivery guys got caught in bad traffic they called immediately to alert me. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.
TSI was able to make accommodations on relative short notice, but it cost me about $300.00 additional to make those arrangements. I contacted them 12 or 13 days prior to shipment. The said the needed 15 days advance notice to ship my item to pay the quoted price. I wasn't aware of that restriction.
To be fair, everything else went well.
The pickup and delivery of my buffet was excellent. The buffet was wrapped very well and the crew did some minor setup as well when it was delivered. We were very pleased with the service and the crew were very courteous.
Seemed a bit expensive based on what we shipped, but I don't have any other reference points to compare it to. Service was great on both ends.
We were more than satisfied. My mother was shipping a metal etagere with glass shelves to me. The quote was done quickly, and our questions answered by a very helpful employee. The piece was picked up timely (actually the guys came a bit early!) and packed better than we could have! The piece arrived when I was told it would, and the employees brought it in, unpacked it and set it up and cleaned up! Couldn't be happier.
The chairs were packed at pick up but framed art was not. I was told it would be packed later. I was given a delivery date and waited for four hours and nothing occurred so I called and was informed that the framed art had been damaged and needed to be repaired. I received the delivery about a week later. I was not given a phone call regarding the delay.

Answer: From what I can tell, a scam. They charged me $2000; confirmed a pickup date, and didnt show up. Since then they've been dodging calls and emails.
