What kind of a review platform is this when all it does is taking down negative reviews and leaving only positive ones?! The one, which can be bribed! It's not independent as it claims to be. Trustpilot or should I say Liepilot is a corrupted clown, which is kissing bottoms of bad sites and companies, which has shady business practice. If you wish to warn people in your review that there's a site or company out there, which has a shady business practice so that more people wouldn't make the same mistake you did then forget about trustpilot, because this so called independent review platform only cares about money. Your freedom of speech is respected only if you have a big wallet, other than that they will censor you. They claim they there for customers, to help them make best decisions and other stuff, but it's a lie. They are there to protect companies, which has a shady business practice. But what else can be expected from this review platform which also has a shady business practice?!
Trustpilot is one of this horrible companies who try to blackmail you in a new online way. They just have some negative reviews, and then get in touch with you to inform you that there is a 'paid method' to get some influence in your reviews. Thats exactly like the 'organise a problem, and let the person pay for security' blackmail method. For me this company is useless, terrible & should be reviewed as fraud.
Have guidelines about how a review can be written. If a customer doesn't follow and meets grounds for Reporting to get it removed and you choose to report, Trustpilot will actually email the customer telling them how they can edit the review to allow it to remain up. Defeats the whole purpose of the reporting process. Their so called ' Support Staff' is useless. Would definitely recommend another site.
I say it DO NOT SIGN UP with TRUSTPILOT.COM they are a ripoff company. They will first get the reviews on site and than start calling you to upgrade the package and once you have denied the offer, they will remove the reviews and say compliance and their system is doing that and their system is $#*!ed. I wish I have not done that.
Companies who pay for their service get a good score, companies who don't get bad reviews.
They help their paying customers to get genuine reviews removed and don't care about fake 5-Star reviews as long as the company pays them.
Genuine reviewers have to spend hours to document their experience and still then, their reviews are not put online again.
On the other hand, reviewers can report fake reviews as many times as they like and nothing happens.
Never ever trust Trustpilot. Any other review site is better.
What kind of review platform regularly takes down poor reviews? Do not trust these censored reviews. They are the only one to give a company i was researching a favorable review now i know why!
I ordred a scooter a while ago and the website used Trustpilot, it said it was a good website and stuff like that, but when i checked about the website and found their Facebook page a lot of pepole have write a lot of bad review of the website, but that was after i ordred the scooter i looked up every review cause i tought Trustpilot was real. So i think Trustpilot is fake but i got the scooter.
Trustpilot is one of those online companies that spends a lot of money to get their website into the top positions when you're searching for reviews of less-than reputable companies to essentially serve as a marketing arm for those companies. If you perform some research of companies that quite clearly have a negative rap with their customers, you'll see mostly positive reviews that don't provide any information about the experience. Anyone that posts a negative review has to go through a difficult process to prove not only that they are who they say they are, but that the events did exist as they claimed to exist. This includes providing documents that one should not be providing to a review website including invoices and personal information.
Before even connecting with the reviewer, they will remove the review automatically and claim that the company you're leaving a review for flagged the review. I know this is automated because it came directly after the review was submitted; outside of the time span a human being could've checked the review. This leads me to believe that they have some sort of relationship with some of these companies to automatically remove negative reviews until the person is able to show a long history of proof about their claims. Even then, the person on the other end has to decide that the information you provide is valid for the review to be put up. However, if companies put up a lot of fake positive reviews, these aren't checked to see if they are spammy in nature. As a result, it is simple to receive a ton of positive reviews to drown out any negative reviews to begin with.
Overall, I would highly suggest companies avoid doing business with Trustpilot and I would highly suggest reviews to simply post on other review websites.
Crazy review website. You want to write a review to help others to not be scammed, but they keep asking for a bunch of private questions before they allow you post an actual complaint. Even private information that I didn't wanted to share. Anyway after they asked me for the second information I gave up. They are more lean to companies that actual customers. At least now I know I shouldn't trust their site when I check for other companies review.
So far I only used Trustpilot twice to provide reviews, my first review was positive and had no feedback from the site. However, my second review was negative about my pet insurance company after they refused to pay out, even though I legally claimed for vet fees and their customer services were just horrendous. A few days later I published my negative review on Trustpilot, the site claimed its a "fake review" and it looks like "I have 2 profiles so they removed my review".
I verified my review with them and responded to their Compliance Team`s emails, still they did not restore my review and did not respond to my communication. I deleted my account with Trustpilot, no point to use this biased website, claiming to share genuine reviews of user experience if companies can get your negative reviews removed.
Genial único y la verdad que me regale par este día del padre algo realmente de utilidad, elegante y con personalidad propia, gracias chucuu
I should have never trusted trustpilot. Last year, I trusted trustpilot's review of an online flower website and with their review being nearly a 9 star company, bought nearly $1400 worth of funeral flowers for my grandfather. About $700 worth of it never came. Said online flower shop took my money and ran. I even filed with the BBB against said flower website with no response or bother to right this for my family. I put my review on trustpilot. Trust pilot wanted the report I filed against said online flower shop to BBB, I provided. Trust pilot wanted copies of invoice, I provided. Despite all of this, and editing my review to fit what they wanted me to say, they still deleted my review. Hmm, did said flower website pay them off? Probably because I noticed they blocked a LOT of other bad reviews too.
I had to leave Trustpilot because they actually take down reviews! They did mines, over a company i gave a passive aggressive review over their shady business practice. They removed it to appease an over-sensitive bad business, I cant trust trustpilot if they second guess their reviewers.
FAKE REVIEWS DEVELOPMENT ON THIS WEBSITE WHICH DOES NOT CARE...
I wrote this review to them on their website, they answered it's diffamation and refused to post it...
Here is the review, it says all!
"Can we really trust you when we can see a site like homeaway US coming from an average of 1 star and thousand of bad reviews going to a 8.2/10 rated company with many good reviews? And that in just several months?
Don't you think they paid a company to write fake reviews? Like Expedia do (the mother company)?
Why do you let that happen?
It's bad for everybody! And in general for the business online.
Look every where on the web, like for exemple on sitejabber.com, HOMEAWAY/ VRBO is the worst rated company ever! And on trustpilot it looks like great!
Bad bad bad...
Trustpilot.com removed my review of primestyle.com for no good reason, they just kept telling me I had to change it, but it's obvious now they were just never going to allow a review of primestyle.com, you can decide for yourself why. I know why.
I think at cheaters paid that trustpilot.com, at them not publish anything bad words they business...
It's all gotta be positive, or GTFO. If you want REAL reviews, go somewhere else. This site is a joke.
Trustpilot is not trustworthy at all. Biased towards positive reviews and the company they promoted 80% positive turned out to be a scam.
These people are crooks and work to get paid by crooks I wrote a review on there site against scammed iPhoneimei.net they emailed to prove my statement I did right away and now my review is flagged for investigation!? Are you kidding!? They're helping these scammers get away with it :/
I've had more luck getting things done on TP than here, but I deleted my account there as they let companies lie and take down your reviews that are honest. They don't ever care about you here... they never answer customer service and allowed a person to be racist and cuss me in my messages and still continue to talk to me after I blocked them. Note that I wasn't being rude to them... Also, a company has reported a review I listed before and TP didn't take down my review. I don't like that they hide it for a time, but if your review is correct, they won't take it down.
UPDATE: They've let a company lie and complain again and hide my review AGAIN so I CANNOT support them anymore. Will not use them anymore unless they better their ways.
Answer: Simple it is their website so they remove reviews that are negative just like how they let complains report negative reviews on their website. Trustpilot is not a good website the company allows companys to report reviews and since the companys pay them many reviews are taken off and removed..
