Trustpilot steal reviews, fake them and change star ratings. I am gathering proof of this and will send to Watchdog, they have been on there before! Because they are 100% corrupt!
I wrote a review for Etsy, another atrocious and corrupt company. I put one star, they took a lot of wording from my review, changed the name to one of their fake accounts and upped the star rating to 4*. Now that is corrupt!
Look at Etsy reviews, all those with a phone number in 10 times in a row are fake, stolen reviews!
I print screen my reviews on there, keep the original and watch them change them, steal my review, alter it slightly and up the star rating! This must be illegal, Etsy and other bad companies are paying them to fake reviews to up their star ratings. So it is not a review site for the consumer, it is very shady and not to be trusted at all.
More people need to do what I am doing, submit your review, printscreen it, keep the email from Trustless pilot to notify you when your review is live and printscreen the adjusted copy of your review when your review is taken off site.
Dangerous game they are playing! They are easy to catch out though. Go on, do it yourself and see!

I went to check out a review of NoraCora a Chinese clothing company on Trustpilot, embedded in what turned out to be a phony review, was a phony customer service/refund phone number that I called, was remotely hacked by filling out their online refund form, they created a fake PayPal account using my purchase method and tried to defraud me with unauthorized gift card and other purchases. I reported this to Trust Pilot- several departments. THEY DON'T CARE. Don't trust Trustpilot.

I wrote on there site about my experience with Icarus TV. I was disappointed with the service. They wrote back saying that they needed my bill number, full name and so on. IO replied with a cut and paste of the service message I got from Icarus. They said that since I would not give them my information they would remove my review. Yet had I had said that it was fantastic they would have approved my review. This is not a trustworthy site. Sorry Trustpilot you have been busted!

They NEVER take down a negative feedback and NEVER want to actually help a business when customer's leave feedback that is not true. Every neg feedback for our organization is inaccurate or left by customers who were trying to scam. They never let the whole story be heard. They also keep asking us for money to join their membership which seems to me that you basically have to pay them for them to give you a better chance of taking bad feedbacks down. They are such a scam, I don't know how they even exist, just trying to take money from small businesses in the hopes they'll take down a feedback.

The worst thing is, we had positive customer reviews that were left by our customers with order numbers, and TRUSTPILOT REMOVED THEM!

SO... basically, Trustpilot keeps up bad reviews, but removes good ones. WHY? HMMMMMM maybe to extort businesses.

Very shady, it's like the mob, "pay us, before something bad happens with your feedback. I wouldn't be surprised if they placed orders on sites they're trying to get subscribe and create bad feedbacks just the businesses will pay them. SUPER SHADY.
