Used them several times, can't say I liked it. Probably, it's great when you can leave a positive feedback and thank a company that did their job well. But who knows if other positive reviews are genuine. I have read several previous reviews here, and people say about some kind of a software trustpilot team uses. Well they should teach it to reply to messages and emails too because their customer service is not really talkative. Not sure if there's some customer focus. They'd rather discuss their overpriced plans.
I don't know, but there's something wrong with all of that. I wouldn't use trustpilot. Yes, it's probably trustworthy. But to me it's just ummmm unpleasant...
There're a lot of alternatives

Afer the time at home due to lockdown and seeing one particular company lie through their teeth, (Pellpax) they never sent goods, they never gave peoples money back, they blamed it all on Paypal, who actually did start refunding people who hadn't received anything, as soon as people started giving warning reviews about bad service and no delivery of items, despite waiting months, Pellpax said Tustpilot terms were breeched, so Trustpilot took honest reviews off their review site, I hope Pellpax crash and go bust, I haven't given a Trustpilot review in ages, it's total waste of time, the reviews are so bent they can't be trusted ever again, people look for honest reviews before they shop online, don't bother looking at Trustpilot, you won't read then there if you want the real truth.

Most of the reviews we see from Trustpilot for our business can't even be linked to actual customers. However we keep being solicited to pay outrageous monthly fees for their service again to help us with our reviews. If someone has trouble with our product / service, we want to offer them assistance. However, Trustpilot doesn't even allow you to send your own message to the reviewer to try and provide that assistance or get extra information about the problem. They only let you send a form email asking them to contact your company. However this email doesn't even provide your company's contact information on it. So even if it is a real review from an actual customer, they make it very difficult for them to get their issue resolved.

It's the worst review website ever. Want to express your honest opinion? No one cares. What? Your opinion is positive? Get out of here. That may mean that your review is fake and please don't even try to explain it's not! I bet a lot of people reading this know what I am talking about. That's why you came here, right, guys?
I tried to leave a positive feedback and they took it offline twice as well saying that their superdooper software indicated it as suspicious. Wait... what? I am not a paid customer, I came to say an honest thank you to a company that did a good job. And I can't do that because their stupid so-called software with artificial intelligence decided it wasn't worth it. Can you hear that? Artificial intelligence DECIDED!
Oh maybe you will stop using this bucket with bolts and start hiring real people? Who the heck needs this kind of software that's more stupid than infusoria slipper?

I wrote a negative review of a company on trustpilot based on my real experience with that company. My review was rejected because I used the word "crap". So I rewrote the review using without the "offensive" word. Writing that I had to contact the BBB in order to receive my refund.

Every word that I wrote was absolutely true to my experience with the company but trustpilot rejected it, wanting me to take out the part about having to complain to the BBB in order to get my refund.

Trustpilot acted as a censor for that company, as such I believe none of their reviews can be taken seriously as they ONLY accept positive reviews for companies that are paying them.

Trustpilot is as phony as a 3 dollar bill, and as trustworthy as a used car salesman

TrustPilot is such a scam. Fake reviews, fake reviews, fake reviews. First off, it's interesting how easy it is to have reviews removed as long as you are a paying customer of TrustPilot. (past experience). Once you stop paying them $700+ per month, reviews start coming in and they are always 1 star. You try to reach out to the reviewers, they never response, then a few days later, someone from TrustPilot's sale group send you an email just checking in. Wanting you to join back up to help with the reviews. Seriously, that's bad. TrustPilot can not be trusted at all, Google should ban them. There's enough negative reviews out there on TrustPilot that they should be de-listed from Google's index.

I lost £400 to a company that had excellent reviews. After having a bad experience and leaving a bad review. The company flagged up my bad review and trust pilot removed it without hesitation. I tried many times to have the review reinstated. I even contacted trustpilot. And they refused to provide me with a reason of why my review was removed.

Trust pilot is the biggest scam on the internet. They remove bad reviews and only show the good and not so bad ones. And companies have to pay to be member. If all they let all thier members receive bad reviews. They'd be out of business.

It's not in thier best interest to let thier member have damaging bad reviews.

I have written reviews on Trustpilot about a scamming company called Grandefex who purport to be a cryptocurrency broker, they are not, they are scammers and if you invest with them you will not get your money back. Anyhow, after three reviews Trustpilot blocked any further reviews by me and the final comment from Grandefex to my last review was "Please refrain from using our page" which, to me, indicates that Trustpilot is driven by Grandefex or similar organisations and are not truly independent, what a shame we can't trust someone who has a title of Trustpilot, a bit like the scammers they work for.

We have used Trustpilot for quite a while now, but not any more, extremely disappointed that during the Covid-19 pandemic, we as a business, have struggled financially like many others, and having asked them for a little time to settle our 'one and only' outstanding invoice, they have instead chosen to engage the services of a debt collection agency to recover this amount. Thanks for your understanding and 'customer loyalty' Trustpilot, guess we wont be using your services any more.
