Many companies either vote for themselves or pay people to vote for them on Trustpilot because it's the most popular review website. All the bad reviews are purposely covered up by 5* spam. On the other hand, it's unfeasible to try and clean up all that garbage since there are hundreds of thousands. I'm not blaming them, but that doesn't make the ratings on that website any more trustworthy. It may also be that they realized the website has run its course (no longer serving the purpose it was meant to) and now they're cashing it in while they still can.

So, I contacted MistrustPilot about my flagged review... again... and received a lengthy automated response again... and once again they said if I would like to provide proof again... I may do so.

Further more they went on to say, 'If you have not heard back from our Content Integrity team yet, it may be that they have not gotten to your request yet. Over a million reviews can be posted on ******* (redacted for honesty reasons) in a month, and even if only a small percentage... blah blah blah... We address each report as quickly as possible, but the process can take time because we usually allow up to 7 days... What!? BefuddledPilot must have a different calendar because I contacted them a little more than 7 (earth days) ago...

An interesting point to consider, my original complain was about a company called Drainage Super store, (I will get to their review later) but my order from them arrived yesterday (11 November). Only a day short of three months since I placed it but I wonder if the DodgyPilot is now going to try and say, 'Oh but you now have your order'... muppets, Never going to trust another site with a MistrustPilot review again...

Trustpilot è gratuito per i consumatori che pubblicano recensioni, ma è a pagamento per le imprese che vogliono iscriversi al fine di rispondere alle recensioni pubblicate. Quindi Trustpilot non è imparziale, poichè viene da sè che ha un occhio di riguardo per le imprese, ed ecco perchè molte recensioni negative vengono eliminate (addirittura a volte gli interi account, senza nemmeno il preavviso, di chi pubblica molte recensioni negative). Praticamente il fine ultimo di Trustpilot è quello di far apparire online una vetrina per le imprese che possano esibire le loro recensioni positive e quindi farsi pubblicità in tal modo. Non è dunque un caso se Trustpilot prenda di mira le recensioni negative e chi le pubblica. Ecco perchè Io consiglio sempre di non pubblicare le recensioni soltanto su questo sito, ma pubblicarle anche su altri più seri, tipo FB, Google Business, Play store, Malavida, Apkpure, HelloPeter, Smart. Reviews, Opinioni.it, Reviews.io, RecensioneItalia.it e, ovviamente, Sitejabber

All was OK till I gave negative to one of the companies (Klarna). After some time I received request to prove my review(!). All screenshots and websites provided by me seem to be insufficient for Trustpilot. At the end I put final correspondence with Trustpilot (so you can judge yourself). After this I deleted all my reviews (>10) and my account there, because I do not trust it.

Unfortunately, we are still not able to accept the evidence provided as it does not show a direct user experience with Klarna. We need to see a document or screenshot that shows that you used this service or have had some kind of correspondence with Klarna. Perhaps a screenshot of your user account in Klarna, showing past transactions?

Dear Trustpilot,

I do not know how can I prove that I have a klarna account or used it when I explicitly wrote in my review that
I DID NOT USE KLARNA BECAUSE THE CONDITIONS REQUESTED BY KLARNA SIDE WERE UNACCEPTABLE (for me)
The only way to prove this is to once more go through the order process, to screenshot any step and then cancel the order (to avoid payment via Klarna).
But I do not want to spend any more time on this.
Most importantly I did not get any explicit comment which step described in my review does not correspond to reality.

Please do not trust trustpilot. 99% of reviews are fake, I've tried to leave feedback as regards to Parcel2Go.com but they are always removed. More than likely these companies are connected.

We lost a big money to www.paytiz.com. We asked our refund. Already updated to all proofs to trustpilot. We have all personal emails screenshots. This scammer got money from the paytiz and deleted our 700 reviews. We will write here against trustpilot main rather than paytiz. Com. Note this

When you look at Trustpilot in some detail, it appears to be nothing more than a contrived mechanism to force companies to join and manage marketing they never wanted, good or bad. The main function appears to be used to force companies to join and pay for their services in order to be able to manage content. If you pay them for their services then you can add feedback or remove it via a number of mechanisms. This means the independent impartial advice I think I thought I was getting as a potential customer of one of these companies, is clearly not independent or impartial. I used to use Trustpilot all the time, but consistent high expectation from reviews has been met with constant low results and I'm not a difficult customer, thats not a coincidence. Reading the other reviews of Trustpilot here is appears i am far from on my own with this thinking, just another internet large scale scam, rinsing money indirectly from an unsuspecting public via companies being forced to participate. Operating in a badly regulated space with little to no consequences, I'm sure they are laughing all the way to the bank. I'm sure the owners don't care about my post as they are far to untouchable for that, lets hope enough people form an opinion in this to get there attention.

I haven't posted a lot of reviews where Trust Pilot was used as the review service, but I probably won't review anything again that uses Trust Pilot. I wrote a positive ( 4 stars) review regarding a problem that I had resolving a problem with another company. Trust Pilot deleted the review because it didn't meet their guidelines - whatever that is.

I tried to post negative review on Millionaire match co with Trustpilot & they immidiately removed it. They Asked for more verification- I sent, after that some more & I sent. It's been a month, countless emails, sent all the proof - they never responded nor reposted my review. I tried to post new review on MM. Trustpilot removed it again. For curiosity I posted 5 star review on another company & Trustpilot did not remove it! Crazy! Their actions are clearly FRAUDULENT! They should be investigated. They undermine the Fair consumers act. After Reading so many other reviews complaining on the same pls everyone do something about this Abuse

Kaum ein Kunde der zufrieden ist, gibt selbst auf Nachfrage eine Bewertung ab, weil er dieses voraussetzt und keine Lust hat, noch Zeit mit Bewertung schreiben zu verbringen. Trustpilot erlaubt es jeden Fake Kunden Bewertungen zu schreiben und dieses auch mehrfach für ein und dieselbe Dienstleistung. Trustpilot ist daher kaum als Seriös zu bezeichnen. Bewertungen, selbst Fake Bewertungen lassen sich einfach schreiben, um eine Firma schlecht dastehen zu lassen, jedoch ist das Löschen dieser Fake Bewertungen, so gut wie unmöglich. Truspilot verdient daher auch nur einen Stern

Trustpilot will make every effort to prevent the posting of bad reviews of the businesses on the site. Once you post a bad review they will micromanage you with questions, asks for proof, communication and so on. Once you have provided some or all of this they will let the offending business loose on you I do t have to defend my review, nor I have to prove to anybody I had a bad experience. I provide feedback and I don't expect to be asked to provide details and then the business try to twist my arms to remove my bad review. Besides, most of the positive reviews of bad business are scripted and probably fake. Site has no value as it paints a fake picture of the a lot of the bad apples out there

I have given couple of reviews on the trust pilot website for couple of companies but the trust pilot wont accept my reviews saying that these are not genuine. If a company is paid member of trust pilot, they wont allow negative review about that company.

Trustpilot gives companies a platform to remove honest reviews and promote requested reviews.

It's a total racket.

What a waste of a web site eh?

Not a trustworthy reviews from their side. Don't listen to them, don't take the reviews in their sites seriously!
