This website is actually worse than scammers because they defend scammers. They allow scammers to hide behind a fake veil of legitimacy. In a land where you can buy positive reviews and easily have negative ones removed, loose policies which are clearly written to benefit the seller, and make the purchaser/reviewer jump through hoops to prove they purchased only to remove their review.

I purchased an apple iPhones on 28/7 and got rather nervous after it had not arrived by 5/8 bearing in mind our travels were coming up. Contacting Kogan help team I got a friendly enough email back apologising for delay and they would keep a watch out and contact Three Sons to chase up supplier and courier. From here things got more involved. I stressed my time factor numerous times and escalated it to an official complaint. I was still told delivery will come, my urgent request to cancel and refund my money was ignored. On 10/8 I got a msg from Kogan at 10.10pm that item was delivered. I straight away emailed back and advised this is incorrect and not to attempt delivery on 11/8 as too late for me. With the greatest disrespect the mobile arrived at 12pm on 11/8. It was chaffed into the letterbox avoiding any contact with us or getting a signature. This is the worst customer service possible. Kogan will have to make arrangements to collect phone and refund as I am travelling and can not afford two phones due to an incapable Kogan company

Don't trust trustpilot! If you write a negative review and the company doesn't like it they'll just remove it a terrible review site that gives the company the power to promote fake reviews and delete real reviews... the whole point of a review site is for the customers to post their own experiences not for companies to say your reviews is negative so it's not allowed... that defeats the whole purpose of the review site.

Disgusting support

Their services disgust me every day. As a business they cannot provide any support to competitors hitting me directly on my account with bad reviews rather it has caused me more business because of them.

On too many occasions Trust pilot have deleted perfectly reasonable reviews I and my colleagues have left citing reasons in their guidelines but never actually saying which ones or where the review itself oversteps the line... they just delete it. You can ask but you will be told "sorry, ticket closed". Its this level of disingenuous censorship which is harming the very openness that the likes of Trustpilot are supposed to stand for. Genuinely not to be trusted. And if the bad reviews are being mysteriously censored it stands to logic they are allowing or encouraging or even manipulating the positive feedbacks. Dark times.

Any negative reviews on trustpilot and your account gets banned if the company doesn't like your review. Dont trust trustpilot reviews after this as the reviews do not reflect the actual service of the company as cannot leave negative reviews.

That's super weird! My account was suspended the first time in ever after writing a 5 star review of a company called Fruugo and only just added that the item took a bit longer than expected to arrive because it had to be changed but their customer service was great! Huh? Doesn't make sense.

I didn't even get the chance to screenshot or edit the review as everything has been wiped. As they suspected it to be spam.

I reviewed a horrible meal I got from red lobster and they removed it. I've absolutely NO reason to lie. If I could I'd sue trustpilot for defamation of character. I do NOT lie and they SUCK!

Honest or Fake site

Anyone can leave positive and negative feedback with no support. It advertised other competitors in their business page for competitons and stir up problems. However, if you go on TP own review page, it does not show its competitors haha. TP is not cheap, it is an expensive site, business has to be £10k plus yearly to maintain it so it be positive or it will go on sloppy slide. This is why many big companies ignore eg Amazon. It holds business to ransom as they do not want to be on it, but they force it. This should be make illegal, but it does not affect Government so no one bother with it. This means it is not honest trust worthy website. A site which wants big subscription is not worth a penny

Trust pilot takes down anything detrimental about the businesses that pay them.
If you see a Trust pilot review, best not use the company it gives 4 or 5 stars toooooo
I wrote ten reviews same company all the five stars remain all the less than 4 have been removed!

If you use the free service of Trustpilot - you are in trouble. If you will get negative reviews made by competitors, they will just ignore things instead help you to solve them. They are just a content aggregator, and reviews are used to help to go up in search engines! What is the funniest fact about TRUSTPILOT? They do not allow to leave comments about their business on FACEBOOK, GOOGLE or any other popular website... sounds dodgy right? Learn from my mistakes. Avoid this trash company!

Trust pilot took my review down l

In my opinion Trust Pilot does not value Freedom of expression. People have had terrible experiences in some instances with certain companies and using the forum helps others make up their mind about services. However when they take down your review without telling you what to change, they distort the fairness of the reviewing community. I don't know why specifically they did that I would have liked to know what exactly they objected to as I was willing to change certain aspects. But I was never given the opportunity to do so. Furthermore The manager turned up then disappeared without responding. I found that unhelpful and a bit odd. I was asked for proof of correspondence which I sent multiple times. Finally I received an email that my correspondence was not within the time limit; even though it is was dated within 2 weeks ago. Frustrating and unfair. No point in asking to send proof when you have no intention of putting the review up. That's just spiteful Disappointed that they sided with a multi million pound clinic over me.
Update: I found out that the clinic did not ask them to take it down at all. It seems that TP didn't like it and chose to take it down themselves. There a darker side there
