Fake review site
February 5, 2023

Trst pilot is the worst review site. It literally keeps scamming buisness going. If you leave a genuine negative review on a scam trustpilot will block it. They flood good reviews for scam sites

I booked a trip with Expedia 2 weeks ago to stay at this resort in USA. Due to a sudden and unexpected personal crisis I had to plead for a refund. Even though I explained everything they flat out REFUSED.
No compassion, it's all about money and gain.
I really am disgusted especially as money is tight. I urge citizens of U.K. Don't stay there because they don't care about customers. They have my money and I can't pay my bills!

They only post what the company that gets the review let's them post they must have some kind of deal worked.out with these companies.get.paid off or whatever is going on. When I post bad reviews about big.companies they will not post them.and call me a liar, small sites or companies they could.care less. So you only get to.see what they want you to see so the sote is BS based on that I don't trust it anymore.

Hi guys, please do not waste your time on trustpilot.Trustpilot should change the name to no trustpilot. After i wrote a review about
A scammer website from Germany, who is been selling illegal anonym german sim carts, but people won't get the item, and no money back, and some idiot
From trustpilot support had the neve to block my account, i mean come on now, on top, after so many years, and the best part, the trustpilot logo is on the illegal Germany Website. So trustpilot is also responsible for all people who been scammed on this website.

SCAM
January 28, 2023

Obviously uses tactics to prevent users from even submitting reviews. They allowed Swappa to belittle me and they flagged me all because I confronted them. Both Swappa and TrustPilot work as a group of terrorists. Do not use either place. Seriously, don't use them, ever.

Used to be legit. I was a big fan. But now they sold out.

I was ripped off by Blueberry Markets, a FX broker. Trustpilot refused to publish my negative review. Even after I proved that it was authentic with loads of documents, they didn't put my review back on.

Reason is that these companies pay for "membership". This is how Trustpilot makes money. A membership costs from 225 to 900 USD or more:
https://business.trustpilot.com/pricing

In return, the "member" gets to delete negative reviews.

Tricksters
January 22, 2023

Simply put - TrustPilot is not to be trusted. It is there as a billboard for companys to advertise themselves. If someone complains about a company then that company responds in kind - making themselves look good in the process and if you respond to them - then you get a warning from TrustPilot so as to give the company the final word on the matter. Very crafty really.

Untrustworthy site. Companies pay for high ratings. If a company does not pay trustpilot they can have a 2/5, or poor rating, even though 95% of the company reviews are 5/5.

I have several times a review, an honest review (both negative & positive) deleted.

And why? For nonsense reasons. I am who I am and there is no other person using an email address with my extension.

Not worth the use and the annoyance.

Trustpilot is a Danish company that protects other Danish companies who pays them to delete REAL reviews. For example the real reviews for the many companies of scammers "ApS group" or
Group Buy APS (vardagen.se sayyve or Pluss.se, Plussshop etc) that operate a number of online shops in Scandinavia, sneaking in an unwanted monthly subscriptions during purchase. So when the millions of disappointed customers try to make an honest reviews, TrustPilot REMOVES the reviews even though the customers has order numbers and emails providing them PROOF that the Reviews are real.

By the way, the Danish scammers protected by TrustPilot (Group Buy APS) is run by a criminal. Group Buy APS is currently under investigation and a Danish court has ordered the company to pay back all the customers they stole money from for their fake "subscriptions", including customers in other countries, like Sweden. Therefore it is absolutely necessary for us to give bad reviews and warn other people. Yet TrustPilot prevents us from doing that and protects criminal scammers by removing our reviews.

Trustpilot remove every review I write if it's 1 star and I saw someone else's get removed too. The company I gave 1 star to was very honest what I wrote about them. I never breached any of the rules or mentioned the employees names or said anything offensive and it's very unfair how a corrupt company the one I wrote the review about can get away with this. It could have helped someone else that was going to make an appointment there. Even someone else wrote what happened when they went to the place I reviewed about it and I noticed it all got took down but not the 5 star ones. Very very unfair. What's the point in calling yourselves Trustpilot if you can't be trusted and people can't write genuine reviews if it's 1 star? There's going to be people out there that won't be aware of this and think this place is ok when it isn't and the corrupt people are getting away with it. It's a shame Trustpilot is so big and popular as really it can't be trusted. I won't be using it again.

Trust pilot is a sham.
January 18, 2023

I made a online purchase at linentablecloths.com. What was sent to me was
cheap material. Asking for a refund I was told if opened it's not returnable. They talked on return fees and denied my return as it would be $10. My whole order was $30. I posted that on trust pilot and they replied that linentablecloths found it defamatory so it was taken down

TrustPilot is a waste of time
January 11, 2023

Filing a complaint is a complete waste of time on TrustPilot. After filing a complaint against www.JustAnswers.com and submitting multiple copies of supporting documentation, the site caved to JustAnswers. After getting a response from JustAnswers, TrustPilot sent an email stating without supporting documentation they would remove my review. After multiple responses they would never state exactly what documentation they were looking for in addition to the detailed multiple documents I had already uploaded. TrustPilot is a complete waste of time. I believe their business must be based on contacting the companies you complain about in partnership with them to let the company know. Then they ask the complaintant for more information. In the end they remove your complaint...perhaps after some compensation is provided.

Fakes
January 10, 2023

It's all fakes! Write "trustpilot a/s denmark" to see Google review of this company. I remind you that trustpilot was sentenced in 2019 in France:
Trustpilot délivre des avis clients déloyaux, mensongers, et injurieux en violation de l'article L. 111-7-2 du code de la consommation.

I wrote a review of Vio.com, accurately describing an interaction I had where Vio.com quoted a rate and then, after I'd already put in my credit card info, told me the rate wasn't available.

Trustpilot removed the review, supposedly because it "breached" their guidelines for reviews. It didn't; it was truthful and reflected an experience I actually had. Apparently Vio.com "flagged" my review, and Trustpilot obediently removed it.

Luckly, there are alternatives to both Trustpilot and Vio.com. I recommend using those alternatives.

Crazy business model!
January 5, 2023

It would be really interesting to actually have someone look into this business model!

I have been trying to leave 4 reviews on TrustPilot for the past 2 months because of horrible companies I've dealt with, and they seem to be blocking me from doing so. The way it goes is: I write the review, and then when I want to post it, it says, "You have been logged out; please log in", even though I am logged in.

When I then try to post it again, they say "You already left a review, please check again later". None of my reviews of the past 2 months are showing!

When you look closer into how Trustpilot works, its very scary to realize what they are doing. Fraudulent companies that actually pay Trustpilot seem to be getting hundreds of 5 star reviews on a regular basis, and when you actually leave a review, they will send you an automated email saying that your review was not posted because it isn't real.

Why on earth would I take the time to leave a review for a company if I hadn't had a bad experience with them?

And this is what their entire business models relies on... We will let people write reviews and then make the business pay to remove the reviews, and if they pay enough, we will block the reviewers!

Funnily enough, I seemed to have gotten banned when I actually left a review for TrustPilot.com on their own website!

This is company is a fraud, and they should be taken to court for using the name to operate!

They remove my reviews of a scammer even though the TP score on the scammer is 79% 1 of 5 stars! I just confirm what many others found out having been badly scammed.

Do NOT believe anything on TP. It has a crap algorithm for tracking reviews and does NOT protect the online community

It is in bed with scammers and let's positive reviews be planted. They are all fake.

Trust pilot shows fake 3.2 stars which is impossible and lie because the review is only one and it's clearly written 1 star.
