A good site which offers the information people need to make an informed travel choice. From time to time you see a review on this site that may be biased, but the ones that document real customer experiences are generally helpfu
I manage a property with 10 units and I list my property on many holiday rentals websites. I decided to try this year the Trip Advisor for business and I paid 450 usd, not small money.
Besides the possibility to manage the reviews, which is of course very good for the online reputation of a property, I cannot see much convenience in terms of return of investment. Yes, I got some requests from TA, but I was expecting a bit more consistent increase of revenue and requests. Anyway, I think it's a must have tool for property owners and managers, a bit expensive but still OK. Maybe I need practice more and optimize the use of this tool. Any suggestions?
I usually use it before a trip. They have the scoop on everything.
The new generation of out of work nobodies that really want their 10 seconds of fame. Who cares what they think about McDonald's... But how do you keep them out of your business?
This has proved helpful in the past, more for the sights than the hotels for me.
I recently booked a flight online with Faregeek. Shortly after I needed to change my flights. When I called to do so I was told there would be a $397 charge. After asking why I was told there was a $200 change fee and the rest was for a seat price difference. I was confused because there were several flights on line that were the same price as the ones I booked. After asking a few questions the man I spoke with was very rude and told me that, that was what I would have to pay. I asked if I could cancel. He said I could but that there was a $295 re booking fee. The customer service I received was terrible. I am very upset and will never be booking with this company again.
I always prefer Tripadvisor and I've booked some flights with them and had wonderful experience.
Whether we are planning a road trip, an overnight, a cruise or travel to Europe, I always use Trip Advisor to help me plan. Where should we stay? What are the best things to do? Is there an unusual tour we could on? A Gourmet Meal? Answers to any question on the Forum.
I can find all this information and more.
Info is dependable, with good customer service. The only complaint I have is you cannot edit a review after submitting, BUT, they are a Very reputable business, which I use all the time!
Excellent site! Dont visit a pub, restaurant, hotel etc before you check out tripadvisor.
This is one of those things that is so user friendly, I have used this many times.
I feel betrayed and deceived. I have used in many years thousands times TA, and lately i found weird comments on places i knew. Now i have checked the list of the restaurants and bed and breakfast in my town, and i saw on top of the list some of the worse, or newest places, having no review or mediocre reviews.or even worse, round the corner i have a touristic area with some ugly kebab and pizza places, with alluminium doors and no charme at all, rated as the best restaurants in palermo. I called them and asked why some bedand breakfast with 1 rpoor review was in the first page. They answered that the authomatic sistem could have had problems. They would call me back after fixing it.no one called and the list of the first bnb is always the same. They are poorly rated, sometime not rated, and are shown first always in the same sequence. Trip advisor is no longer to trust.
Trip Advisor is owned by Expedia.com! The practices of both of these companies is very questionable. While staying in a 5 star all inclusive resort in Cancun, my entire family got sick, because of the poor health practices of the resort! Water that was not safe to drink and no warning labels posted on the mirror. The maids washed the same glasses every morning in the unsafe water and then wiped them off with a rag that was hanging on her belt clip! I submitted a review 3 times that never got posted!
Trip Advisor is 100% pro customer and could care less about the damage being inflicted on the business! They didn't care that people made a reservation at our hotel with a bogus credit card number that was declined three times! They didn't care that these same people never stepped through our hotels front door! They didn't care that these people called us every name in the book, when we refused them service! I will not spend one single cent, advertising with Trip Advisor!
Every single time I travel with a booking thru TripAdvisor, it has been a bad experience. In fact, it is SO bad that I plan to pay off my balance and cut up my card.
TripAdvisor has always been my go to for reviews and information on places to go and see! They are an easy service to use and it is good for leaving reviews of your own.
Tripadvisor.com makes travel very easy and about as cheap as it can be. Your one stop shop for low-cost air travel, hotels, rental cars, and tour packages!
A great site to talk to members who have been to a place you are planning on. We have just been to Naples and sorrento on a tight budget. Members gave some good tips and on how to get to the city from airport. I do think that some revues may seem valid many may think otherwise. So you have to decide on what's important to you. Enjoyed Naples for 4 nights with the locals and nice shops and cafes lots of walking., but when reviewing safety on TripAdvisor we almost didnt go. It made us very aware of dressing down in crowds, we would go again.
We just returned from our Holiday in the United States and Middle East. We relied on trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed
This site has the best reviews for travelers. I trust it's reviews and it's dedication to finding the best places for the best experience.
Answer: Ya, its very easy, you can find your hotel and write as you want. What's your experience with this hotel.
Answer: Its hard to find it. I think you must need to find the correct name of your company or place. Then you can easily find any review
Answer: I don't have a chance about this. I think real reviews with good details published immediately.
