I tried to book the same room within seconds of their "countdown" timer... saying... This price is reserved for X timer count down... but the site did not process my reservation because in "the small print" it says the price can change at any moment EVEN THOUGH... the timer says... Price is good for the next X minutes.
VERY misleading...will NEVER buy from these crooks.
I made a booking online by clicking the wrong date snd called to ask for an amendment. They first told they need to escalate the request to the reservation team and asked to check the email in an hour for an update. And they would say that the request can't be processed due to their policy. Even the hotel is willing to make the changes. After a few hours of back and forth they would still say no. Don't ever use this website book hotel again and they would never care about this too
I call their support teams was told I would hear something from them within an hour. They did call me back. Then I get a email the next day saying they can't help me and I won't be getting a refund
Booked a room through them. Ascend in Marin. This is an unsafe motel. There rooms were red tagged by the county and there were homeless sleeping in the back. I asked to be refunded and they gave me a cancel number and a phone number to call. They could not even do it there. The phone number led me to 5 different scam numbers. Don't stay here.
After booking my hotel I was scared after seeing all the negative reviews. It all ended up being okay though. Just maybe call your hotel and check they got the reservation before you just show up. Got the same hotel but for 400 dollars cheaper!
I learned an $418 lesson! Booked a hotel reservation that claimed to have cancellation and change options. Realized I booked 6/9 to 6/11, s/b 6/16 to 6/18. Tried to change on line and it would not let me so I called on 6/4. I was told I had to cancel or change by 12AM on 6/4, it was 1PM so they said I was screwed!
When searching a hotel locally at our son's college they listed a hotel address and USA. After purchasing and as we were heading there, they sent my confirmation and it was in a state ACROSS THE COUNTRY. They refuse to move it to the state I'm in even though it is the same hotel brand or reinburse me. I took screenshots and showed them the error was not on my part. They did not care.
Trust these reviews. Do not book thru this site. Wish I would have checked the reviews BEFORE I booked. Their prices are significantly more than booking directly thru the hotel. I've given them a chance to make this right. With only this response: "Apologies. This is a third-party reservation and we have a different rate from our hotel partner.". So … learned my lesson. Wanted to warn others.
Cannot reach the escalation team. I made mistake and caught it 5 minutes after I printed out my reservation I wanted it for the 3 not on the 2nd. Well 5 hours later no one gets back to me hotel has rooms tomorrow but they are impossible to get someone on the phone. I'm convinced only 1 person works there. This is worst I have ever dealt with I traveled for my job for 20 years on the road. This was first and last time to use this traveluro. It's customer service at its worst chick fillet does a better job
Customer Service? There is none. I called 7 times throughout the day with no answer…a recording comes on to call back later. Where is that 24/7 customer service they supposedly have.
Horrible and stressful experience until CINDY AVENION successfully resolved my issue. Spent over 3 hours on the phone, one agent hung up on me, lost connection over 4 times after 10-15 minutes on hold, email exchanges were very robotic, "non amendable, non refundable" and had to insist to talk to supervisor several times…Although my request was granted, it wasn't worth the extra savings. I only received confirmation the morning of my departure leaving me limited time to book elsewhere at a much higher cost.
This agency would be more profitable if their "non amendable/non refundable" policies were abolished and more agents had common sense like

The hotel NEVER denied us changing our date. The hotel was very friendly. Raelyn was a horrible representative. She should be fired. I called the hotel after I sensed some skepticism. They were please t and asked why I even dealt with traveluro. Raelyn was rude, obnoxious, she lied to us numerous times. She should be fired immediately. Never trust this site. I'm telling everyone I know never to use them. Raelyn was horrific.
It took me 3 more try's to get a hold of a supervisor in the escalation dept. I was denied a refund from 2 other people. I refused to give up because they stole my money. Finally got a hold of a guy named Even. This man was Fantastic, he understood the issue, he apologized, he was kind, and issued my refund. They need more people like him working there. Every single other person was horrible was rude and we're no help. Thank you EVEN! You deserve to be commended, find you a better company to work for. You deserve better!
I was charged for extra $50 when I check out at the hotel for my stay. I did not request any other services. I request a copy of my hotel receipt, and the room price is a lot less than what I paid for on the traveluro website. This website will lure you in with low price and a lot of fees are hidden. When I spoke to the customer service, her name is Chris btw, she directly implied that I should be responsible for all the extra fees or the terrible service I got because I chooser the lowest price offer. She is saying that I was wrong because I paid less. Also, when I spoke to her on the phone, she told me that the extra fee I paid was not listed on their website or my voucher and she said they will fix it. Then when I called again next week, they told me there's a note now saying that you need to be responsible for extra fees.
I booked a reservation for my boyfriend's sister as her graduation gift. I usually just book through hhonors app but the price was 30-40% cheaper. I called the hotel and they found my reservation and I thought that it was a great deal. As it is nearing the date, I check the reservation in my app and it was cancelled. I called Hilton to ask why my reservation was cancelled but after reading the reviews here I think I know why. I called the traveluro number multiple times and nobody was answering the calls. It just rings and drops. I disputed the charge on my card
My wife wanted to surprise me for my birthday. What a surprise...she made a mistake and entered the wrong month. She also checked non-refundable (which we never do) She realized her mistake and an hour later had me call "customer service" You will be talking to somone who speaks English as a second language. I was told since she made the mistake their policy was no refunds or changes. We were hoping for a future booking credit. When I called the hotel chain (an international multi brand company) I was informed that they had no reservation under her name in the system and it could take 2-3 business days for Traveleuro to make the reservation and send us our booking voucher. I called Traveleuro again and spoke with another "customer service" agent. I asked since we didn't have a reservation with the hotel yet why couldn't we have a travel credit. I was told their policy for what she booked was non-refundable or transferable! I asked who is keeping our $440 and was told she didn't know but their policy was no refunds. AVOID THIS COMPANY. I will be asking the NY Attorney General about this company as well as the Better Business Bureau. In less than 20 minutes we were scammed out of our money. Shameful, it is a travel agency not a casino. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
So when I went to book a hotel for our destination, it reverted to the city we reside. As soon as I clicked submit, I realized it. I called immediately and MULTIPLE times afterwards. There was NO answer. I tried emailing. There was NO response. Finally I got ahold of someone when I clicked to "verify my reservation." They would not cancel my reservation, nor would they let me change it to the city were traveling to. So now I'm stuck paying for a hotel room in the city I live.
I seldom write reviews but I felt compelled to help others that may search before using Traveluro. Unfortunately I did not. They are impossible to get a hold of for days and their support and "escalation" team are useless and powerless.
Waste of time and money.

They're rates are low however they are almost non-respondent when it comes to a refund. I have been trying to get a refund for two months and I canceled my booking 6 weeks before the arrival date. The customer service dept appears to be non existent when it come to a problem. I would use Trip Advisor plus.
Made a reservation and they booked it for the wrong date. Customer service is horrible. You will definitely lose your money.
Answer: They don't honor the insurance they offer through their website they want they won't let you change dates I probably won't do anything for you very piss poor customer service
Answer: They offered the biggest discount and even offered low cost insurance on the reservation
