TravelUp failed to inform me that my flight was cancelled.
Travelup failed to arrange a suitable alternative flight.
TravelUp told me that I would get a refund after 6 weeks
TravelUp later told me that I would get a refund after 8 weeks
TravelUp now tell me that I have to wait 3 months for a refund
TravelUp have not responded to a single email. (4 emails and counting)

-100 This scum of a company. Never get back to you as they know to mess around and waste your time so you cannot pay by secure payment. They charged my £426.00 for amendment of 2 out of 4 tickets. The original tickets cost £2504. 48 they refunded me £1177 and have kept £1327. 29.
The airline Quatar cancelled their flights on 12. 3. 20 and let this scum company know. They did not communicate this to me!
Fortunately £426.00 was charged back as I paid back using my credit card. I contacted them to find out why they kept £1327. 29 when Quatar refunded them 100 percent. Mike and Francis have told me on the phone to drop the charge back of £426.00 and they will pay me £800.00 lol. I asked them how would they feel if they/their families were treated like this and if they had £1327. 29 deducted off their wages!
They asked me to email them lol. I am embarassed being asian myself that other asian business people are ripping innocent, honest customers. There type of business may rub off in a third world country thank god not in the western world. Thank god we have a justice system to sort these scum companies. I have reported them to ATOL, Quartar Airlines and ABTA. Please do the same so they are not allowed to carry on with their disgraceful business.

It's a shame that I had to deal with a company like travel up, I have been booking flights and travelling for about 30 years, first time in my life I see a travel agent receive information from the airline company which has changed flights time for both outbound and inbound flights, but they send an email to mention about only inbound flight change, hence through the responsibility on a customer and blame them why didn't they guessed that the outbound flight has changed too!, not to mention about the customer service and how many times they cut the line claiming lines are bad!.

I booked with them a hotel. Bellagio, Las Vegas. When I arrived after a long flight. Front desk told me that my booking is canceled. It was my and my husband's anniversary! I was so angry and tired so I paid extra to book a room at the day I arrived! Next day I called them and they told me "I'm sorry. We gonna give you a refund"
Day before my booking I emailed them is everything alright with my booking?
No response!
They gave me a refund but for such thing they should've give me a credit too! So disappointed! The worse travel company!

I booked a flight for my mother. UK regs changed so we cancelled the flights to avoid my elderly mother having to isolate in hotels alone etc

Travel up woudlnt refund us, but said they would issue a travel voucher that we could use online.

We wa happy with that.
Fast forward 2 weeiks: we are not trying to book tickets and the code isnt working, so we call up, are put on hold for almost 2 hours, to face the rudest, more arrogant of staff who have ZERO customer service skills.

I then asked for a proper voucher number so i can book my flights, to which i was told no, you need to pay more. I said i would complain, to which the guy said do waht you want, and rudely hung up.

THe staff are rude, arrogant, not UK based, cheap overseas labour who seriously do not give a crap about customers.

I will NEVER book from this company again as in my 3-4 hours of waiting, the flight prices have gone up £2-300 each and i am not even one step closer to booking.

Infact they have caused me anxiety and distress with their rudeness and inability to sort. I am now at risk of losing my £500.

THESE GUYS ARE CHEAP FOR A REASON, DO NOT FALL FOR IT. ABSOLOUTE JOKE OF A BUSINESS.

In January 2020 I booked a British Airways return flight to the USA for June 2020.
Due to the pandemic restrictions, I wasn't able to board the flight. Travel Up said my only option was to use the value of the ticket to re-book the flights before 25th January 2021.
Since December 2020, as the Government restrictions on non-essential travel have continued without any end date, I have been asking for a full refund from Travel Up as it is impossible to plan a visit to the USA before Travel Up's deadline.
I have spent many hours making numerous telephone calls to Customer Services over the following weeks. Whenever my call was finally answered, I was told that I must speak to an Admin Officer - who was always "unavailable". Requests for him to call me back were never followed up. Emails were never answered.
Eventually I got to speak to him through sheer persistence only to be told I must now speak to an Admin Manager – and, no surprise, he is always "unavailable" when I call and requests for him to call me back are never followed up.
Customer Services are now telling me Travel Up will only refund £300 of the £530.33 I paid!
SCANDALOUS! I AM ENTITLED TO A FULL REFUND!
NEVER, NEVER book flights with Travel Up. Don't be fooled by their claim to provide "excellent service" and that they are "a name you can trust". Rubbish!

AVOID AVOID AVOID - they are liars and thieves. If you have been unfortunate to have had your holiday/flight cancelled due to COVID then these scammers will not refund you anything. Do Not Book with them! I have been trying since Sept 2019 to get refund on cancelled flights. They ignore emails and will not speak to you on the phone. You wait in call queues for ages only to be cut off after 40./50 mins. PLEASE DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY BY RISKING IT WITH THESE SCAMMERS

Do NOT use TravelUp! We booked hotel accommodation through them at a 5 star hotel and they ‘forgot' to send confirmation paperwork to the hotel. We were 4 hours away from home with a 5 year old and had to take the last remaining available accommodation at another hotel which was awful, and while they refunded the original amount, they refused to contribute to this cost. They just take your money and don't care what happens.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE In SUCH a difficult situation as we are all into at the moment this company still manage to make everything worse FOR us. It's a nightmare. I will NEVER use this service again. They have ID caller and your account information comes up and they purposely DISCONNECT YOU. I have been trying to get a REFUND since July 2020 due to the Pandemic
The member of staff are rude and useless. I will tell everyone I can to AVOID THIS COMPANY. ALL I want is my REFUND it doesn't take 6 months to issue a REFUND. I will continue to calling, emailing writing REVIEWS until I receive my money back. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

This is a useless company that Sunday times has been paid to endorse. I would never use them again.

Their IT systems are rubbish. Waiting in a queue which reports time as 10secs when I have waited for an hour.

I have been on the phone to them 15 times and also emailed them. Polite replies. But they do nothing! Yes we will deal with please call us.

Shame on Skyscanner as they cant respond or deal with this company's service feedback. Go direct to the airline and be able to rebook pay the extra £15 admin fee you have to pay to the airline.

Shame on BA to making them a preferred supplier. There are no merit or tracking of service to customer who went through this agent.

We had booked a return flight to Chicago with TravelUp in August. When we came to check-in the night before on December 8th we found that our ticket had been canceled. We rang TravelUp to find out why it had been canceled and they said they did not know why...
The flight was still happening but our tickets had been canceled!? We had to book directly with the airline just a few hours before the flight left and ended up paying over £2000!
We have not received an apology email or refund.

I highly recommend you do not book with TravelUp! I will be requesting for a full refund and the extra £2000+ we had to pay!
It is disgusting service, I hope they learn from this and start treating their customers with respect, integrity and honesty.
I am sorry if anyone else has gone through a similar experience.

Booked flights to Barbados to fly out in November, these flights got cancelled and I've been awaiting a refund for 8 weeks. I emailed them several times but never got any response.

My flights cost £502. Today I finally received a refund but for £328, not surprised it was short of the full amount due to the unprofessional way this company have conducted themselves through the entire process. I now have to raise a chargeback with my bank for the difference I'm owed.

This company might have good deals but if things go wrong they ignore you and rip you off. I'll always book flights direct with the airline in future and would advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs.

We booked our hotel accommodation for our family of five (2 adults and 3 children) 5 weeks before we were due to travel. They also sent us the confirmation voucher from them for our reservation.

1 week before we were due to travel, they send us an email stating we do not have the confirmation due to their supplier issues and were providing alternative accommodation that was not even close to what we had originally paid for.

They completely refused to own up to their error and were not willing to pay the difference for alternative accommodation which by then had gone up in price.

Stay clear of them as they are complete fraudsters and cheats.

Still waiting for a flight refund from April. Just keep getting excuses and told to ring back bu totally inept phone handlers. I know so many people that have received refunds way way quicker so their COVID excuse does hold true. Agree with all the other reviews - they are thieves/incompetent and absolutely do not care about their customers. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

My flight scheduled for December got cancelled and Travelup didn't even let me know about it. Asked for refund but did not get any kind of confirmation, not an email, nor SMS, nothing. You just have to trust their word. You call them again and they do not provide a clear response. Avoid at all costs.

The worst experience I have ever had! Tried to charge me £280 for a flight change when it was due to corona virus - claiming it was emirates charge - emirates changed for free!

He said December was a peak time so to change my ticket cost more- he couldn't tell me why it was cheaper to book a whole new ticket though? I paid £450 originally for a round trip - a round trip in December cost only £80 more yet for one let he wants 280? How does that make sense?

The man I spoke to- I would say gentleman (but he most definitely wasn't)! Also wouldn't give a voucher and just kept saying December is peak- yes I get that but why is the cost SO high as I have already paid - I have never heard of a change in fare be so expensive- ever!

Not to mention the wait, I had to wait on hold 3 times- my total wait time was over 2 hrs! Thankful Emirates changed directly for no extra cost, and I got through within 10 minutes!

Also to mention on my original booking there was a confusion with baggage allowances and I ended up paying almost £200 in extra baggage- after being told different prices for the extra.

I sent about 20 emails to this company- none were responded to, I never leave reviews but on this occasions I was so shocked by the awful service and rude staff- I had to! I would pay never to use their services again.
