I received several emails stating you wanted confirmation of payment from CC company. I have not received a response from anyone that the payment has been accepted.
Your phone waiting recording is a joke and repeats the same message over and over. The wait time on the recording say I have a 10-second wait for the last 30 minutes. Really poor service.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I reserved a hotel room in the morning. I kept asking for a confirmation which i got,later in the day of course it was canceled. I'm sure this company knows that this was Bait and switch and they still do it. I did get an email saying, unfortunately this room was no longer available. They could switch me to another hotel but even right now as I type this, it is still showing on travel up website that this hotel that I reserved is still available. So they will do the same thing to many others. This is nothing new I'm sure.

The confirmation code given in the email does not fit in the TravelUp app. The reservation was made wrongly with the hotel for March 6 when the Confirmation Email was correct for June 6. I had to make long distance calls to the hotel overseas to correct the errors.

BEWARE of the TravelUp cancellation policy of 10% penalty fee booked through a website listed by Trivago. TravelUp deducted $229.10 from my $2,395.79 (10%) b/c I cancelled my hotel stay 55 minutes after booking it. There was no grace period and no "one time" waiver.

In their confirmation email they referred to the TravelUp "Terms & Conditions" policy, and specifically the cancellation penalty fee. This confirmation email was sent after a purchaser "clicks" send to allow payment. It makes NO SENSE. After a day of calling & emailing TravelUp, their only responses came through email, that they were sticking to their policy. I told them I was going to leave a poor review. Terrible customer service & typical of an English company to not waiver.

However, we would have appreciated if the facts of your experience were accurately represented. According to our records and the conversations you had with our Hotels team, you contacted us to cancel your reservation due to a change in your plans—specifically, that your family no longer wished to proceed with the hotel stay.

Our representative clearly explained the cancellation terms, which were outlined at the time of booking and agreed upon by you. These include any applicable cancellation fees, which are set based on the policies of the hotel provider.

If a cancellation fee was applied, it was in accordance with those terms—not an act of wrongdoing. Labeling our service a “scam” simply because a fee was charged for a cancellation you initiated, under clearly defined conditions, is both misleading and unfair.

Pretty easy on the website

Pretty easy on the website. A nightmare at the hotel. Upon check in I was over charged $1800 and the people from the hotel have been unable or unwilling to solve my problem. I don´t know what to do or who to contact.
