Last night, I travelled by Train number ******* - Pothigai Expresss. I ordered dinner for my family of 8(including 2 kids + my senior citizen parents.) to be delivered at Madurai Junction. The train stopped there for about 10 minutes. I got a message, 15 minutes prior to the arrival, that it was ready, and asked me to wait in my seat. I called up the customer care as soon as it was more than 2 minutes of stoppage in the station, as the person never arrived. The customer care Rep said, there is a huge rush, and so the person has boarded the train, and will deliver the food in sometime, and will definitely come. However, the nobody came even after the train started. I again called the customer care - again the same response, that the person has boarded, and will definitely give me food. It was almost 20 minutes after the train departed Madurai, nobody came with my food. I immediately called up the customer care. Mr. Manmohan said he will check with the vendor and get back to me in 5 minutes. However, nobody called up. I again called them at around 21.45, almost 30 minutes after the train departed Madurai Junction. The same person - Mr. Manmohan said the "The vendor is not responding, and they cannot provide my food, and asked me arrange food from elsewhere, and they cannot do anything else." I got wild and I blasted them. It was almost 10 PM at night. I had several vendors in Madurai and before, and virtually nobody after Madurai, and it was 10 PM. Had they informed me earlier, I would have ordered earlier, but thanks to them, my entire family had to starve that night. Further, I had 8 people in my family, including 2 kids and parents. Finally at around 10.30PM@ Dindigul, I had to scavenge some horrible 5 rotis, which was hardly edible, and we had to literally starve the entire night. The biggest irony was - Travel Khana did not even apologise for this, and their standard response was - "PLEASE ARRANGE FROM ANOTHER PLACE." I DON'T UNDERSTAND - HOW COULD I ORDER THAT AT 10 PM IN THE NIGHT, AND FOR MY ENTIRE FAMILY OF 8.". Horrible caterer. Never order with TravelKhana. My entire family had to starve yesterday night, thanks to them.

I was travelling on Howrah- Yeshwanthpur express yesterday and had ordered from Travelkhana.com from Nellore.
To begin with, the way they packed the food was horrible. All were sealed in plastic pouches (including food with gravy) which is quite obviously difficult to eat out of a plain Styrofoam plate (which they provided). The food that they show in the list were not the ones they provided. I ordered for Dal and got Sambar. Menu item had a mention of a sweet in it, but didn't find any when it was actually delivered. Ordered a mini meal and a veg thali, both amounting to rupees 315, which was absolutely not worth that amount.
A point I feel necessary to mention, the person who delivered the meal, didn't ask for tip, but he DEMANDED the tip, and called it delivery charge. He didn't leave until I payed him. Behavior was also not courteous. This was my first and will be my last deal with Travelkhana.

Recently, I planed a trip to Kerala, downloaded Travelkhna app ordered food from them. Food was delivered on time. Meal was delicious and healthy, I am very happy with Travelkhana service.

We were travelling by train ******* ( delhi-jaipur DD).
Forget the quality food, which is like what we feed to our cows. But, these guys cheated me. They gave me 1 packet; charged for 2. They gave me and fled like a thief.The curry was spilled in the packet leaving my family with no choice as there is no irctc service in this train. My family had to suffer because these cheats who just want to make money at any cost. BEWARE OF THESE MODERN DAYS THUGS. AN ABSOLUTE DISGUST.

Please don't ever go to these guys. Pathetic food, horrible packing (idlis and dosas packed in newspaper)

I ordered for dinner in train no *******.at Anantpur station on 27 th may 2017 in A1 coach aeat no 22. I had ordered for paneer and butter chicken combo.The rotisserie though it was mentioned as butter rotis were worst.It wad like chewing a hard elastic.It had to be thrown. The packing was also in very cheap polythene bags. They could have atleast used plastic dabba or sliver trays.The food was not even hot.In my so called butter chicken I got only one piece of bone chicken.The paneer gravy was okay. They show a discount of 50 in their ads. But I was given a discount of only 25 Rs. ALL IN ALL A MEDIOCRE MEAL PROVIDER
