This site is horrible for sellers. The return policy is ridiculous along with their exorbitant fees. Here is my story. Sold item on Jan 11th shipped the next day. Buyer had access blocked so item delivery was delayed by 3 days and I had to contact the buyer of the problem. Buyer had the item for 3 days and then wanted to return. Before Covid Tradesy would pay you your money even if buyer returned and they would keep the item and sell it on their site. Now due to COVID they are sending the returns back to the sellers for the sellers to deal with it. So now the buyer has to send my item to the Tradesy hub and then Tradesy ships it back to me. Well I got an estimated date on return delivery but thenitem was a no show. I checked tracking on Fed Ex and it stated on Feb 3rd the label was unreadable. Informed by Fed Ex a new label would be printed with a new delivery date of Feb 8th. It is the 8th today so I checked tracking. Guess what no movement at all. I sold this item on Jan 11th and shipped the 12th. It will be one month without my item. This is poor business. If I did not check on my tracking then my item would still be lost in transit. Tradesy does not follow through when they are sending back your item. Also please look at the selling fees before you sell on this site. My fees on eBay are 11.7% total and a 10% discount back as a top rated seller with a store. Here you are paying 22.7% with all fees added together. They charge 2.9% just to send the money to your bank. Can you imagine... So this forces you to up your prices to cover their extremely high fees. I have been selling over 10 years online and this site has the highest fees and worst return policies. You will be without your item to resale for over a month. BEWARE
Tradesy stole my earnings by transferring my earning to a bank card that I don't own. I sold one Kenneth Cole coat on their website for $40 on Nov. 22,2021. I was supposed to receive earning of $15.74. I chose to receive my money by transferring to my bank debt card. But after two months I haven't seen the money in my account. I asked them via email. They said $15.74 was transferred to my Mastercard debt card ending 6976. However, ending 6976 is not the bank card number that I registered. I don't have a bank card ending with 6976. In order to trace where the money went, I asked them for the bank name associated with the Mastercard and full account number. But they refused to tell me any information about this card. They said it's company's policy not to give out card number. Okay I accept not telling the account number. But at least you should tell me the bank's name. But they said they can't tell me the bank name either. All they can prove this is my account is the bank provided them with my DOB. When I asked my bank, my bank said they will never give their customers DOB out to accept a wire in. Therefore, Tradesy either conducted fraud itself or with a fraudulent Mastercard company to steal earnings from the sellers. Be careful if you want to sell with this company.

The bag outside is in fair condition. However, inside was full of some kind of mess like sawdust. It took a while to clean it out and even now it still is shedding this dusty film. I won't purchase again.

Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. THEY NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON!
Answer: They advertise a strict selling policy of authentic and accurate descriptions for listing. If by chance an item received is questionable, they have a review process to protect the buyer unlike many other sites out there.
Answer: It says that everything is guaranteed authentic but you have to know your stuff to know if it is authentic. Tradesy people don't see the items unless it is sold and the buyer complains about authenticity. So if you put your trust on tradesy, you are 100% WRONG and will get scammed.
Answer: Yep. Tradesy are infamous for holding your money! They will also refund a sale without any communication with the seller, they don't even tell you why. Tradesy hooked up with Authenticate First, these people don't know what they are doing. Well the messed up big time with my bag, see it was authenticated by a very reputable company. I have ALL my bags authenticated BEFORE I list for sale and of course have the documentation to prove it. The bag was in perfect shape. Tradesy are ignorant, unprofessional and teamed up with a company (authenticate first) who have their heads where the sun don't shine. Tradesy are totally so unprofessional they have not bothered to send me an email even notifying me of the refund, I only found out when I checked on the sales delivery date to find a little sentence that says "refunded". No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!
Answer: Don't ever do business with Tradesy ever! Learned my lesson. Bought a Chanel bag that doesn't look like anything they showed. I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. I finally disputed it with the credit card company. Tradesy almost ripped me off of my $1,600

Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.

We believe that our competitive 19.8% commission fee coupled with our always-free listings allow more of the earnings from your Tradesy sale to end up in your pocket compared to most other resale options - both on and off the web. To further clarify, the 2.9% safe transfer fee is a fee charged from the payment processor that we use. This processing fee is covered by Tradesy at the time of check out when a buyer places an order, so there is, unfortunately, no way to waive this fee unless you decide to use your earnings to shop on Tradesy.
