Be very careful what you buy from these people on-line. We bought a $12,000 UTV that they lost and they claim they have refunded our money but our credit card company says differently. We have nothing and am having to fight them all the way to try to regain our money. Our next step is to hire an attorney to try to sort thru this mess. We are an older couple and should not have to be dealing with this. We bought something, we paid for it, Tractor Supply lost it and we never got it, but they won't refund our money!

This was a terrible experience for us. When we received our first order of Silkies we had 2 dead in the box. Before 48 hours we lost 5 in total. We contacted Tractor Supply customer support and they sent out 10 more. When we received them there were 9 dead chicks in the box. Within 24 hours the 10th one died. This was so disheartening. We love animals and can't stand to see them die. The worst part of the whole thing is they didn't have, food, water or a heat source. These babies were stuck in a box right after hatching and had to rely on the old myth of the 30 hours of yolk nutrition. That is a myth debunked by many vets. Many studies show that chicks start absorbing the nutrients in the shell at day 19. Anyway they offered a half refund, but that doesn't take away losing 15 baby chicks. That is emotionally damaging. These babies did not have a chance from the beginning. We worked very hard to keep them alive and still working for the remanning 5. This hatchery needs to do better. Then I sent in my review to Tractor supply and they said hey review it and can't publish it. See the email below. The pictures below are of the 15 baby chicks that died.

Frustrated
May 8, 2022

I called tractor supply in Warrenton va. To see if they had the advertised folding table that they advertised. They said they did, they said they had 5. I drove out there. When I got there they said they had give. They looked all around and could not find one. Wasted a half day. Next day I drove to the Manassas va. Store and they had 2. One was in bad shape. I bought the one that still had a protective wrap on it. Next day I unwrapped it and found it to be badly damaged on one end. I took it back. In two days I drove over 50 miles and wasted at least 5-6 hours of my valuable weekend. It appears the entire chain is poorly managed. I won't go back.

I originally put this review on Tractor Supply and they removed it saying "It did not comply with their guidelines".
I suppose if you don't give a good review they take it down. I didn't see anything but good reviews.
Here's what happened...
I ordered a lawn chair. I received a text it had been delivered to the store near me. When I called to be sure the chair was there I was told it wasn't there and tracking was incorrect.
A week later my husband dropped into a different store and inquired about the chair. He was told it had delivered several weeks prior but not to the store I requested.
It is Tractor Supply responsibility to make sure customers are notified of delays. Had my husband not asked I'd still be waiting.

I ordered a 2 part order online to be picked up at local store. 1 item they had and was picked up. 2nd item they did not have and couldn't get, yet 2 days later my credit card had a pending amount for that item. I called store and was assured nothing would be charged to my card until item wad picked up. 2 days later my card was charged for that item. I called store, was referred to manager, she in turn referred me to their resolution center and got no where. Finally had to file a complaint with paypal who paid for it. Paypal sent them a request to get details and they refused to answer paypal. Finally paypal sent them something that showed they were serious and TSC then sent me an email and asked me to contact their resolution center and they would take care of this. I did so and after I got transferred to 3 different people, 1 person heard what I needed and hung up on me. Have now requested paypal to collect and punish as much as possible but want public to know this is a very dishonest company

Consumer unfriendly
March 13, 2022

First the local store manager didn't have time to talk to me about losing my farm tax exempt information, so I took it to corporate and guess what? They didn't give a crap either.

I have been buying pet food and Bird seed at Tractor Supply the past few years. Now prices have doubled in some items and some nearly impossible to get. Some store managers are friendly others aren't. I'm finding other sources for the products I need. Shopping there has become a hassle and a disappointment.

Conyers, GA Store
February 28, 2022

Went in on Saturday to purchase a Truck tool box, first there was a sign up that stated 20% off (had expired) second there was a sales price up of $299 for a specific box. Bill came and asked if we needed help, I said yes, I'm looking for the $299 box, I said, I do not believe that this box (place at the sign) is the correct box, there was no way it would be discounted that much. Bill then said in a smarta** tone, "well these are not where they should be as I just put this one out and it does not belong here" (So Bill is lazy? Bill lacks the ability to correct the issues?) so then I said so can you help me find this box ($299) and also is there an additional 20% off? Bill said as he removed the 20% sign no this is old (expired 1 week ago) well again, is Bill lazy? If Bill noticed this earlier or knew this would you not think he would have already corrected it? - So again, Bill said let me get a price gun and I guess I can help you, really, "You think you can help" - Now Bill I would say is in his 50's, would you not think he should know better? Well I can say if Bill worked for me I'd fire him! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS STORE AGAIN, and will do my BEST TO TELL EVERYONE to boycott!

Total dissappointment
February 24, 2022

What started as a botched, unresolved online order (yet again) evolved into a surprise when TCS invited a review—which was solely a factual statement of the events—then decided it "didn't meet their criteria" and refused to publish it! Apparently TCS does not want the facts of inadequacies revealed in public. SHOP ELSEWHERE!

I went to the Maysville, KY 0451 store (managers name is Angie) to purchase a 5.5 x 10 foot trailer that was listed on the website as in-stock and available for pick-up today. When I got there the trailer was not available. I was told the website was wrong and sorry about your luck. They had many other trailers slightly larger but refused to sell me one at the price of the one I went there to buy. I would recommend to anybody NOT to shop at this store. Good old "Bait & Switch" comes to mind. I left and did not buy anything. I called the corporate office, I spoke to Theresa and she said it was up to the store and "sorry about your luck". Terrible people to do business with.

Bad Customer Service
December 22, 2021

Ordered a pair of Muck boots the first of November and the order was canceled at the end of the month with no explanation. Reordered the boots and that order was again canceled 12/21 with no reason? Got ahold of customer service and the answer was "Oh, we're out of stock". After two months you think I've could of found out earlier and ordered from another store. Too late now. I am one NOT happy camper!

Weird at best, time waste
February 18, 2021

It took forever to place the order - it takes minutes for every page to load. When done, got an email "thank you blah blah blah". A few minutes later, got another email "Your order have been cancelled" with no explanations.
Called them, pushed endless buttons just to be told that the item is not available...

Tractor supply has an in house good quality brand of dog and cat food for a reasonable price that is only available through them. I have 4 dogs and 3 cats. I use their rewards program and have their credit card for additional savings-all good! The dry food bags weigh up to 45 lbs. so I have them shipped to me with the free shipping as I always spend over $50.-. The problem is the bags are ripped open at least 50% of the time. In the beginning the bags were shipped in a cardboard box. They would arrive fine but when I opened the box the bag was ripped open and kibbles were all spilled out. This indicated to me that the person who put the bag in the box ripped it beforehand and tossed it in. I did contact the company. They said they would send a new bag out. Never happened. I followed up multiple times to no avail. Lately they ship the bag inside a plastic bag. Same problem with the ripped bags. Some arrive taped up like a mummy! I don't bother contacting them anymore as it's useless. I also have a damage problem with the canned cat food and dog food arriving with dented cans since they just throw them in loosely. Then there is the problem of ordering online. Sometimes you can order a case or several cans and other times you can't. Some cans can be sent one-day shipping but not regular free shipping to go with the order. It's inconsistent just like the store that never seems properly stocked which is how I started ordering online. In the store when I looked at treats, bones, etc. for the animals, I read the labels, almost all are from China/Asia! Please read labels. Many dogs and cats have died from them! Finally, this is not due to covid. These problems started before the pandemic. It's too bad because I really like the brand they have...

This company is extremely careless with their propane. Even after being enlightened, they refuse to believe that they can do any wrong. I would advise any propane customer to watch closely, as they continue to behave casually and dangerously. Be prepared to have to sue these jerks for damages, as they will overfill your tank to sell more propane, and damage regulators!

I wish I could give negative stars

I've been a loyal customer every since they came to the Georgia,( metro Atl.) market. Today is the last time I will ever darken the door. I routinely spend $350-$400.00 for personal supplies monthly, not to mention all the money the supers spend in the store. I have about 10-12 pairs of their jeans, and three pairs have ripped first day at the belt loop; right side next to pocket. Today I went in to get 4 tanks refilled and 140 pounds of dog food and other animal supplies. They told I was past return date; really a week ten days maybe. The purchase date was 2-8 for the jeans, and this is the first time I had a chance to go by. Also I'm was wearing another pair for the first time, bought the same day I bought the defective pair. Joey; MOD, knows I'm in East Cherokee store, at least a couple times a month. I would never let, one my retail stores or the contracting companies treat a customers this way, especially over less than $ 5.00 corporate investment.

I have ordered from them online several times and in most cases the service was as advertised. On at least 3 occasions I reviewed items that were not up to standard or that i considered dangerous, in an effort to warn others. When I submitted the reviews that were 1 or 2 star Tractor Supply rejected them and refused to post them, indicating they did not meet their standards. Consequently the items retain their 5 star reviews on line, when in fact if they were honest would have lower ratings. It makes me wonder how may other reviews are edited or refused because they rate the products lower than the company wants.
