TSC blatantly advertises to the public that they honor military or veterans service with sale benefits that don't exist. I spent 2 hours on line proving I wasn't lying that I was a veteran. Having completed the on line profile, I went to TSC to use the offered benefits. No discounts appeared on my receipt. I asked personnel, why, and they said I'd have to call customer service. I did. They said veteran discounts had to meet certain criteria, but could not tell me what they were.
TSC is boasting to the public (with counter flyers, bill boards at the entrance, and special parking spaces) without actually delivering any actual benefit. I left there feeling guilty not having shopped at local businesses instead. Which I will do in the future.

I have had multiple issues the last 4 months of going to tractor supply in Chichester nh, the worst was today when a new gentleman that i never seen before but in to a private conversation I was having with my husband and said you brought your car with us? I said yeah why is that any of your business? We'll I'm not going to fill this propane tanks because you not supposed to have this size tank in a car but the other 2 tanks that I had 3 in total, the other 2 were fine to fill and transport home in my car. If this is not making since to you then yes you do have a brain. I said we have had this tank filled here every week for the last 2 months and the other 2 people never said anything to us about it. He was then just very mean, then says he can't fill the other 2 because now there frozen, even though they were in a heated car for 4 hours. I said please go get someone else I don't feel comfortable with you and he was really discriminating against me and my husband because we are poor and a mixed couple. When a another worker came out the only other person we have had issues with there in the past she came out immediately with him I told her he is refusing to help us she tried to cover for him then filled the small tank, I guess it defrosted in 3 minutes! And she made us get someone in truck so we could fill the 3rd tank. They. Don't have a ve no sign that should say if u need a 100lb tank filled it has to be outside in a truck but put as many 40lb tanks in your car! And we reserve the right to be lazy and not help you! No stars I've spent over 1000.00 of money i don't have in the last 3 months there and I cheated can tell you I'm not going back they stink

Beekeeping supplies

The beekeeping supplies are low quality built by unqualified people. Boxes have been falling apart in record time. Cheap supplies shipped in from China and boxed in company logo boxes. Low paid workers cheap frames warped and missing nails.
I wouldn't recommend buying harvest Lane honey products

Poor Quality Chicken Coop

I purchased the Producer's Pride Producer's Pride Guardian Chicken Coop, 14 Chicken Capacity from Tractor Supply in March 2024. I paid for the assembling service Tractor Supplied offered. I had the coop assembled a few weeks before putting my chickens in the coop. I moved the chickens in the coop mid-April so have only been using it for a few weeks. I bought the product because it seemed easier than having a custom-built product and I liked the idea of two doors for entry, one in the enclosed coop and the other for the chicken run. I use the door on the chicken run at least twice a day once to let the chickens out of the coop in the morning and again to lock them up at night. The handle provided to slide the coop door open and closed jams all of the time making it imperative I open and close the door manually from inside the run. The latest problem is the chicken run door fell off. I spent an hour trying to figure out the issue and how to reattach the door then realized the top hinged pulled away from the door making it impossible to get the door reattached. I finally was able to pound the hinge back on the door to get the door reattached but now the door is sprung and does not close easily or tightly; it is a challenge every time I open the door to enter the run and then getting the door to close tightly to protect my chickens. Furthermore, I researched how to make the coop predator proof and found the wire openings on the chicken run were much too wide to protect the chickens from the likes of weasels and snakes so I went out and spent an additional $100 buying hardware cloth with a much tighter mesh. All and all I am very unhappy with the product. In total, I paid Tractor Supply $1,513.65 for the coop, assembly, shipping and tax plus I spent another $100 for the additional protective hardware cloth. I will probably end up having to replace this product to ensure my chickens are safe. I truly believe Tractor Supply should provide me with a refund. I did submit this review to the Tractor Supply website but they refused to post it. I guess they only post positive reviews.

Rude Manager

I called the store in malakoff Texas at 1:00 pm to get information on a roadie order I had accepted the store manager Cassie answered the phone she was very rude and it was unacceptable I then told her l will just cancel the order then I thought about it and was like no l'll just file a complaint so I asked for her name and told her I would file a complaint she responded with I will just have you blocked from this store so I drive from Frankston Tx to malakoff Tx because I accepted the order I get to the store my order was canceled so l go into the store and ask about my roadie order she said I'm not going to allow you to take the order so you CAN LEAVE MY STORE if this is how tractor supply allows the managers to treat their customers this is very unacceptable and she didn't care because it's HER STORE. Once I recorded her she became very professional 😂 what a joke!

The corporate contact

I reached out to corporate looking for toolbox parts. The lady that answered was rude and very unhelpful. She attempted to direct me to another company that I had already contacted (WernerCo) that had told me to contact tractor supply because they did not sell directly to the public. Understandable, many companies are that way. I tried to explain the situation but she didn't care to hear about it.

Love the product, but go to the store DO NOT USE THEIR MOBILE APP. Ordered dog food home delivery, decided to do PayPal (Pay in Four)... Order processed... HOWEVER, email for order was just as I had ordered... My bank account was for both the 1 in 4 payment and the whole amount payment... TSC TOOK BOTH PAYMENTS OUT OF MY ACCOUNT.

And don't bother sending them an email. I think they have 1 person responding and they either respond or not and don't bother to answer the phone either... This is not store experience, it's CORPORATE

I received a $10 birthday coupon from TSC if I spent $50. So I ordered online a pack of chainsaw chains for 49.95 and a rod for $3 so I could use the coupon, for store pickup. I received notification my order had arrived and I had limited time to get it, so I drove right away to TSC to pick it up. When I got there, there was no chainsaw chains, only the $3 pole. The clerk told me TSC online does this a lot, where they don't have a product and just don't send it, but do not notify the customer. I wasted my time, gas money, my coupon is now expired. I will NEVER order from TSC online ever again, will only purchase in store.

Three times over a two month period went in for propane and three times denied will never go back there for anything ever again went to leave a rating but the page would not let me submit unless rated so I was forced to give it a star I would have given it 0 the page also asked if there is proof of receipt and obviously there is none

I WAS a longtime customer of TSC. I purchased the minimum amt per qtr to qualify as a Preferred Customer, meaning I received a $10 credit for specific items each Qtr, and a Free Trailer Rental that was of no value to me.
It sounded as if I was a valued customer of TSC, until I checked the interest rate I was being charged on my TSC Credit Card. It was over 30%. I couldn't believe it.? How it got to this exorbitant amount I don't know. I've always had perfect credit. Needless to say I've paid off the card and thrown it in the trash. I'll never shop at TSC again and I'll make sure my family & friends know what also may happen to them.

I fell in the store

I fell in the store to their dog bathing area being so slick and I didn't notice and it's not like I had a dog that pulls. She is a Great Dane that walks behind you. She helped me up so i had to have a procedure done to my back and thought I only needed it once. They only want to pay $900 for the one procedure but come to find out I need another one to get me back to the way I was. I can't even work right now, $900 doesn't cut it. I am not asking for a lot but at least $3000 for the drive which was an hour, missed work, and to have the procedure done again. The lady that handles the department for them said when I said I would just call my lawyer she said she didn't like how I was talking to her. I have spent $75,000 in 4 years there and I am just wanting enough to have the procedure done again. The management admitted that they should have had the dog washing area closed. I hit my head in 2 places causing knots, bruised and swollen elbow, bruised under my knee and swollen. I will never shop there again. They lost a great customer because they don't want to pay for my procedure that needs to be done again. I have pictures just couldn't take them of my head.

Rude Manager

During this very cold time in January 2023, I called the store to verify availability of an electric heater I found online. The person on the phone told me they had one that was returned for a significant reduction in price. It was returned because the customer said it would not work. He assured me he checked it out & it worked fine. I drove to the store, but I was told by the cashier that there were no returns or exchanges if there was anything wrong with it. I told her I didn't see that as a prudent decision. She told me I needed to speak to the manager. I approach the manager, who was on another phone & had a second phone in his other hand. I Stayed a few pieces back & quietly waited until he looked up after he disconnected his phone. He did not greet me, ask me what I needed, or in anyway make me feel like he wanted to help. He just glared at me. When I explained the situation, he told me, "that's not how it works." I asked him if he could show me that the unit worked so I could be sure it wasn't defective, and he sneered at me as he snapped, "we don't do that, that's not how it works!" I have been a regular customer at the store for years, but after the way Manager Mike just treated me, I won't be back. It was my plan to pick up a few other things, but I bought nothing today.

Incompetence

I had to make four phone calls to try and get someone, anyone to resolve my problem. This was regarding an e-gift card that was never received. The level of incompetence is mind boggling and by the way the issue was never resolved. Never again will I deal with this company.

That last several saturdays when i have went in to do my regular shopping on of the girls that works there had her two kids with her at work. They were running around and yelling and climbing on things, or another time she had them in a basket next to the register yelling at them. This does not make for a pleasent shopping experience, not to mention those little guys could get hurt or hurt a customer by knocking something over. Look out i see lawsuit in tractor supply's future if she continues to bring them to work. Willow Springs Missouri

Let me say no stars. I have been in a all out email tornado over 9 rabbit trays for over 5 weeks. I was charged with no product. There was a sale and I wanted them for the price. The system let me put an order through for 9 trays to be shipped to me at my local store. Weeks went by without an email so I went to call CS and here we are. 3 emails later. Weeks without the trays.Was STILL CHARGED SHIPPING. I am playing mental volleyball with customer service over this.

I have done business for 35 years and I will cut this off the the neck. I work in retail and customer service acts like I'm an idiot and they do not know how to generate a solution. It's simple. I pay, you ship. If you cannot, you can pull from stores to ship to me or for me to pick up at another store. I. Work. In. Retail. I know how this game works.

I was charged and don't have my product. Where I come from that is stealing. So if I go into the store and took what I want without paying, would I be stealing? All I wanted were the trays as they are holding me up from moving. That's okay. I will pay double at your competition gladly! My money spends everywhere. I have been more than patient and understanding. I wish your CEO could see this review and my emails.
Funny to see other people had the same problem in other reviews. What a shame.

Bad management

I left tractor supply about 2 months ago now after being there for 3 years and I can say that I absolutely loved working there when I had the right managers. After amber took over the Batavia store its management went to complete $#*! that's why all the good employees are now gone. She wouldn't allow us to use the bathroom without making nasty remarks about having to watch the register. She wouldn't allow us to have our 10-15min breaks. She would hardly give us a lunch break. If she didn't schedule enough
People during the afternoon we would literally have to skip our 30min but still clock out for it. If she didn't schedule someone to take over the register after ur shifts over she would expect u to stay a hour after ur shift is over to wait for someone if someone comes in at all. And if u didn't stay she would have all the managers up at the service desk talking crap about u. She let her employees sexually harass another employee AND MADE JOKES ABOUT it. Amber would keep us on the register for over 9 hours with sometimes a 30min break. She never appreciated ANYTHING u did for her she only ever looked at the wrongs u did. She would yelled and belittled us in front of customers. Brian ready need to go and fix the store before it's too late. It's looks nice on the outside but on the inside it's falling apart. Do something before ur guys brand new store is already doomed hopefully this reaches the right people and they do something.
