I'm writing cause this is the second time this happened
Bought DMR 50 lbs for chicken food for my chicks that I bought at TSC this past spring
The bag of food was taped closed, evidently it was opened somehow, and taped up n put back in the display. These are my babies, I wouldn't use open baby formula, so why is TSC putting/leaving these items out for purchase, better yet at full price.? I really feel chicken food or any other animal food should not b Re taped up n sold.
I purchased two items online. One was a large item which was not at my location, and the other was a bag of supplies for the large item (sorry for being cryptic - these are Xmas gifts, and there's an outside chance the recipient might see this review). The bag of supplies was in store. I live approximately 10 miles from the store, and the large item they would ship to the store for free, or to my home for a significant charge. Seems petty, but no big deal. I chose in store pick-up. The next morning I received an email stating that they would "gladly hold the item until the close of business tomorrow" and that if the item isn't picked back up by then, they'll put it back in to inventory AND CHARGE ME ANYWAY. I have a number of problems with this. First off, there isn't any kind of problem yet, and they're already threatening me. Secondly, I'm now forced to make two trips instead of one, because the large item won't be there until after the close of business tomorrow. Thirdly, if they refuse to give me the product, they have no right to steal my money. Fourth, none of this was disclosed prior to my initiating the purchase, so I wasn't given a fair opportunity to decide whether or not to participate in this kind of an arrangement. Fifth, WHAT A HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS! Once my items arrive, I'll certainly never shop TS again. I won't support anyone who acts like this.
Tractor Supply is where my husband and I buy our chickens their feed, our dog treats, my husband's Husky 22 ton wood splitter, and most recently we bought a Coleman side by side UTV. I went online and saw that they had our side by side on sale for $1,000.00 off. I called the Hagerstown store (where we bought it one month ago), and they honored the sale and gave us a credit if a thousand dollars. We are so thankful!
I bought a mini bike here for 800 dollars at the Oregon Ohio location. A week after bringing it home,I found out the motor was tied up. When I told the manager about it he basically tryied to blame me and would not let me return it.His name was Jeremy. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM TRACTOR SUPPLY AGAIN.

Twice now I have ordered things from Tractor supply to be picked up at the store. The day I am to pick them up I get emails saying my orders have been canceled. They take the order, don't tell you they don't have it, then cancel the day of pick up. This prevents you from going elsewhere, or ordering it elsewhere. Horrible policy with a horrible company.
Today I went to the DeLand, Fl store to buy a pressure washer, but the model I wanted was out of stock. Connie checked other stores, (out too), and then gave me the phone number for corporate offices and stayed with me while I was talking to them. She got them to order one for me with the veterans' discount to be delivered to the store. She went way beyond what typical employees do, and I appreciate that. Connie is a strong asset for Tractor Supply in DeLand, Fl.
Wanted to buy a pellet stove. Online said it was in store. Drove 30 miles into CDA to find out no stock.
They tried to sell a house brand. Seemed similar until I ask about warrenty. 30 days. No way
What I wanted had 1 year and 5 year.
They still had the sign for what I wanted.
Ask about ordering was told could only do it online and pay extra shipping.
Well okay
So latter at home I ordered. 10 minutes later get notified it was canceled. No reason given

From Tractor Supply in Corpus Christi, TX...
Purchased on April 2022. Paid for 4 pullets (chicks) but received two pullets and two roosters. Was very disappointed.
Gave my friend the wrong chicken and they fed them the wrong foods and drinks and now its about to die and there very sad also wrong color chicken
There prices are ridiculously high. Profiteering is a consern from this store chain. Why would anyone spend there money here when you can get the exact same product for half price or cheaper anywhere else
I ordered 2 jackets, 2 packs of socks, 1 bag of garden coir, 1 bag of potting soil, 1 blouse. I received 1 package of socks and was told my order was ready. I drove 30 miles round trip only to learn that the remainder of my order wasn't received yet. I got home and found that the size Large socks by Carhartt size chart that I ordered were a size Medium. I cannot use them. I got another message that my order was ready. I drove 30 miles round trip for 1 jacket. Today, I was told my order was ready again and to not forget to pick it up. I drove 30 miles round trip. Today, I got 1 jacket, 1 blouse, and 1 package of socks that were advertised as Large but are size Medium, per Carhartt size charts. I cannot use them. I got an email stating that my potting soil had been picked up. I never picked up either Garden Coir or Potting Soil. The email states that the email is my receipt for the potting soil I never picked up and never received. I went to the Carhartt website and ordered socks in size Large. I am returning the two falsely-advertised by Tractor Supply packages of Carhartt socks to Tractor Supply. In the event that I do not receive the Garden Coir and the Potting Soil, I am cancelling the entire order and returning all of the items and asking for a full refund. I cannot take this type of retail experience any longer! This is not pleasant shopping, nor is it environmentally friendly. I would be better off filling my tank with fuel and driving to a real retail outlet where I don't rely on false online product descriptions and where I actually receive the item instead of having the retailer send a random emailing stating that I picked it up.
I HATE that I ever need anything from Tractor Supply. The never order properly to be stocked and even when I order things online for shipment to my house or to the store it shows up WEEKS later than the date they claimed it would. Today I placed an order online for pickup at the store. It charges me for it and I got a confirmation email and text message saying the order was confirmed and to wait for the email that says it is ready for pickup before I head over. 3 hours later I have heard nothing, so I called the store to ask and they told me my order was CANCELLED despite me being already charged for it and NO CONTACT through phone, email or text message to let me know! I checked my texts, I even checked my spam folder in my email. This shouldn't surprise me since they never have contacted me about my late online orders, but the fact that they can cancel an order they have charged me for and act completely nonchalant (not even apologize) claiming they couldn't find the product and making no offer whatsoever to rectify the situation in any way was ridiculous. Did not even offer to order it or look up when the product will actually arrive. So the money is showing up on my bank account and I have no way of getting the product I needed today and I am just so tired of tractor supply. It is CONSTANTLY disappointing me regardless of how I try to shop there. When I go in person people are not friendly or helpful. It's like when I go to the other feed store (not trying to advertise so I won't say where) it's a whole different world where they are friendly and if they don't have something they figure it out and tell us what day to come back for it. Why can other feed stores do that but Tractor Supply is ALWAYS lacking?
Well, number one i ordered a specific item. And they did not have it ready for me. Then after taking forever i finally got it loaded. However, i got the product home and i realized they gave me the wrong one because it was missing multiple parts. So then i had to reorder the stupid item and try to package up all the pieces. So because they did not do their job i had to waste my time and my money and gas money to actually get the item. Then i had bought like multiple bags of lime which was supposed to be pelletized however when i got it home it was just a big mess of clumps and all stuck together and it was usless and again a waste of money. This is the second time they have sold me crappy lime and fertilizer! So buyer beware doo not buy this stuff because they are not even smart enough protect this stuff from rain and moisture!
I will never buy this stuff from this company ever again!
New customer to Tractor Supply co. I purchased dog food online that was shipped to me by fed ex smart posting. The box had holes in it, security tape ripped it even had threads in the tape. The box was particularly open. I thought ok just a one time instance. Well placed a second order online and just received the box today. It looks like rather threw it against a wall and the end of the box was ripped off. Customer service was small discount back. Home office never called back. And fed ex said take it up with tractor supply co. They just do not care canceling my service with them. They do not care
They sell feed to customers with bugs and mice in their feed. Not healthy for your animals. I asked the manager to fix the problems for 6 weeks straight. Still bugs and mice in feed. Looking for another feed company. I know because I use to work for them. They treat employees and customers with disrespect. I was bit several times by bugs, trying to clean the infestation that my boss refused to do and I have several bug bites on my arms and hand. Not a good place to work, not a friendly environment, not healthy for your pets and farm animals. People beware.

"My product is still "For Sale" on your website. I have waited 16 days total for a product supposed to ship in 2 days. I called 6 days after order and was told to call back after 10 days. I called back after 16 days and was told product is no longer available and you will issue a refund. "
After you accepted my order and took my money and did not even look into my order when I called Customer Service after 6 days; I went ahead and ordered about $300 worth of upgraded products for this stove (England's Survivor Black Bear Outdoor Stove). Now because of your crap policy not to notify if/when a product is no longer available; I am out the cost of the Stove (Hopefully - someday - you will return my purchase price)? And I am out ~ $300 for everything else I purchased for your "non-existent" product.
Follow-up: I purchased accessories from other stores and now have everything but the stove (and no refund yet)!
And YES, I honestly believe you would never have done anything about my order if I had not called in for a second inquiry!
This is a store that is not Customer friendly. Once you get behind the smiling faces when you are in the store, it's basically a shell company. I read many reviews after this mess started and it seems the majority are negative. Personally, I will never shop here again, even if I have to pay more somewhere else.

Consumer beware. This company will not charge you for an item and fail to give you a reciept, then press criminal charges against you.
The Massillon OH store is notorious for this. They failed to charge a customer and then tried to charge them with a felony. Think about how many times you have told a business I dont need a reciept. This could happen to you.
Once again DO NOT SHOP AT THE MASSILLON OH, TRACTOR SUPPLY.
Went to Tractor Supply this afternoon to purchase 20 railroad crossing ties for yard landscape. Got to store and they had the store closed down until 4 pm for a Pet Adoption! Manager needs to be replaced. I took my business elsewhere and will not return!
The Employees at Bradford VT. Tractor Supply are very pleasant, helpful and as the saying goes a smile can brighten up any room. I recommend this store to all my friends and family. M Manning
