I ordered my husband a Gift Card from here and I had an issue with ordering, they said it would be shipped in a week but took around a month. FOR A GIFT CARD to ship from OHIO to New England. Really? And it's not because the shipping was slow, they just didn't process the order. When I told them I would be away and it wouldn't arrive before his birthday, they just ignored me. Then my husband went to use his gift card, and they force you to use a credit card to pay for the shipping and the tax, that cannot be paid for on the gift card (never heard of such a thing) and instead of using the balance of the gift card, they charged his credit card. I emailed support and now 5 business days later still no response. This place is A SCAM 100%. Definitely do not order from them.
I used to really like this site until recently. In the last 6 months, I have ordered 6 things and received 1. They don't return my messages or inquiries. They just ignore me and say one thing while the cameras at my apartment say another. Who do you think I'm going to believe? My eyes or some customer service announcement. They make you by insurance for whatever you buy but its just a way for them to collect more money.
I have been waiting for a item since 21 January,it is now 3 March and still on item. If you can find what you want somewhere else,shop there.and avoid this site.
I ordered an item that arrived with a relevant missing part. I have sent 5 e-mails over the past month via customer service about the part and have not had one responded to. I would send the item back but clearly there is no way a refund would arrived based on this experience. Their phone service directs you to e-mail. Buyer Beware as this company does not even reply with a courtesy response…just look at the negative reviews as wish I had….could care less about the missing part at this time as it's more about principle and what is right. Would be zero stars if an option
I placed an order over a month ago and still no delivery, I never heard from them by email with any explanation.
I reached out to them to get a refund. Apparently they don't give refunds only store credits... ha ha ha, why would i use touch of modern ever again to purchase from them with a store credit, just to have this happen again!

Ordered 2 items through this supplier.
1st order shipped via FedEx and was sent to an unknown address in a totally different city. Called FedEx and was told that TOM would need to fix the address.
I've reached out to TOM and get replies from Julie. This person doesn't read or comprehend the information that is provided to her and I get responses that have nothing to do with the issue.
I assume the second half of the order will be delivered to another unknown address.
Save your self the aggravation, look at items on this website and purchase from a reputable supplier.
I purchased an item that was verified counterfeit by the true manufacturer. No phone contact and simply get a continual runaround via email with zero resolution. This company needs to be stopped.

I placed an order on November 30,2022 as a Christmas gift. As of today 1/26/23; I have yet to receive the order. It is in PO status, which me they are waiting for it from the manufacturer. Reportedly, the item was supposed to be shipped in 1-2 weeks. This is unacceptable and unbelievable. Never again! Needless to say it won't be a a Christmas gift, maybe, I might get it by this coming Christmas. Oh, can't show a picture, I don't have the item. Buyer please be aware!
Placed a order for a bottle of Bourbon on 21 December. It is now 25 January and all I see is "PO Sent". If you don't want to wait...try another site. I can get a 65 inch tv in 2/5 days but a bottle is taking over 6 weeks!
I ordered something, and something arrived but it was not the item I ordered. The paper receipt in the box even had the correct item. After going back and forth for a month, I still do not have a refund and they want me to print a return label and send back for their mistake. My husband is recovering from open heart surgery and I literally barely have time to eat or take care of my basic needs. I shop online to make my life easier not harder. This is the WORST!
Ordered on 17 Nov. Told ship in 3 to 4 weeks by Dec 16th. Over the next 6 weeks get 60 to 70 emails for other items, some promising delivery if ordered up to 7 days before Christmas. Dec 16 comes and goes with not shipment. Am told that item 1st has to be delivered to them in bulk, then they separate and pack and ship to you. When I check order online it says they have not yet received it in bulk and it is now Jan. 3rd. 8th week of waiting starts in 2 days. Inquire to them gets you a computer generated response. My advise is to find it elsewhere.
Beware of purchasing from this company. If the price is too good to be true then you'll be waiting for over a month and receive an email stating your order is canceled with no explanation whatsoever. Poor business model.
This site is $#*!ing terrible. I'd recommend Wish before telling someone to waste there money with this bull$#*!. Never order from this company.
As all these other reviewers have stated. Do not buy from this trash $#*! company. I bought 4 items, the first one showed up and the picture is completely wrong. I nicely emailed them(since they have no phone number) and let them know the wrong picture was sent. Email I received was I could get a store credit and that the one I purchased was no longer available. I then went directly to their website and it shows 10 left and 3 other styles of the same said picture. I emailed again and said just give me one of the other 3 styles Instead and that would be fine. She then said sorry only credit? I even paid extra for the premium insurance that handles lost packages and trouble free order replacement ON TOP of the $35 shipping. I still have not even gotten the other items yet. I guarantee they are about to get theirs!

11/12 I bought a phone charger for a Christmas gift. 12/26 it's nowhere to be seen. They aren't selling stuff they have in stock, they are selling stuff they intend to buy from someone else who may or may not have it in stock, may or may not have to manufacture it first. They refuse to refund. Refuse to do anything but promise. I'm filing complaints with BBB, Consumer Affairs, Nevada Attorney General, challenging the charge with my bank, and warning people in places like this. You can get what they sell other places, usually at Amazon, usually cheaper.
Answer: I've used Touch of Modern several times a year over the last 5 or more years. Recently, they have become a scam. I won't consider them again. Product quality has plummeted and the marketing has become often deceptive. They have removed customer reviews from their website. All consistent with their new found focus to deceive, grift and scam.
