I saw an advertisement on LinkedIn for a Resume Writing Service. On May 23,2022, I purchased one of the services to have my resume written, $219 was paid by Affirm. I did receive a couple of emails to complete a questionnaire, but did not answer or submit the questions to TopResume. I have not discussed my resume or anything regarding my resume or career to any TopResume employee. There has been no interaction or transaction between myself or TopResume regarding the rewrite of my resume, in fact, I do not recall sending them my resume. On 6/21/22, I spoke to Cassandra and told her I would like to cancel the service and would like a refund. She said would submit for the refund and I should get it in a couple of days. I received a follow-up email from Cassandra immediately following the phone call and said my request will be submitted for a refund. I received notice today, 6/27/22, after reviewing my information they will not be issuing me a refund, that my payment is non-refundable. I was never told, nor did I see anywhere on the website that my payment was final a sale, non-refundable. I want my money back, I received nothing and they have stolen my money.

I paid for the top package through Top Resume.
I throughly enjoyed my resume writer. They were extremely flexible and open to my suggestions/questions. They responded promptly and with a good attitude. I did have a few thoughts surrounding the length and word choice they used in the Resume, compared to other resumes my friends had done (in the same employment field) working in some of the spaces I am interested in).

However, I have not noticed any new job inquiries and I have still not received any job interviews based upon the new resume and LinkedIn profile I have submitted, that was targeted done by Top Resume writer.

My writer was Harry and he was great! He redid my resume and when I reviewed it, I let him know the changes I'd like, quickly he made the changes and sent it back to me. We did this twice until I was happy with the final product. I started applying to jobs with my new resume and quickly I started receiving calls. I have used other resume writing services and paid more money than I did with TopResume, and I never got calls as quickly. I applied for a position I thought I was qualified for 3 weeks ago. Human Resources called me back and said based on my resume, they felt I would be a better fit for a senior level position within their company. I have never been at a senior level so I was a bit nervous. The hiring manager was impressed with my resume, I went through two rounds of interviews, and I was offered the job quickly with a nice $22,000 a year increase than what I am making now. I am so happy with the results of my resume and would 100% recommend TopResume.

This is a terrible resume writer. Took $220 from me to then make a resume for me thst wasn't even done by the writer. They take your old resume and put it into an Authenticator and then use the AI or whatever to make the same resume that they make for everyone esle (bio, bullet points, work history, education). The two week revision period is terrible, they get back to you 3 days later so you really only have 2 edits for them to do and they do a terrible job on each edit. I had to actually edit wording because it was misspelled, one sentence had 5 "ands" in it. The resume I had made is high school Quality. They writers reply's are not even a real person it's just a generated reply. Really bad service and a bad resume I'm going to have to go back and make my own edits.

They give you resume writers that have 0 knowledge of the medical or public health fields. They put useless information about product placement and marketplace analysis into your resume even when you ask them to remove it because it's false, incorrect, and not relevant. A 5th grade wrote the clover letter which wasn't written in complete sentences. They do not honor their guarantee. I am a hiring manager and would laugh at the resume they created if someone tried to apply for an entry level position with what they provided. I had to completely overhaul everything they gave me. Waste of time and money

Overall good. Used it because it was recommended from a friend.
