My writer re-wrote my resume as if he knew and worked with me everything was well summarized neat and professional. I upgraded to the expedited service to include cover letter and Thank you letter. I would definitely utilize this service again and I recommend anyone to use this service.

I worked with Adam to create a résumé and cover letter would effectuate a career change. Although I have all of the transferable skills, I couldn't figure out how to reflect them on paper in a clear, dynamic, and persuasive way. Adam did, though, and three days earlier than expected! Adam took my skills and my original formatting, and adjusted them to industry standard to make me sound like a strong candidate for the roles I've hoping to land. Adam was also very responsive. He answered all of my questions; made some of my requested revisions; and gently explained why some of my other requested changes wouldn't meet the industry standard, thereby putting me at a disadvantage. In other words, he handled the creation of my résumé and cover letter expertly and thoughtfully. I haven't sent my brand new documents out yet, but I feel incredibly confident about doing so. This is a terrible product and experience. The first draft of the resume I got back was so far off that giving feedback to the writer on each item I needed changing would have been way more time and effort than just writing it myself in the first place.

The overall quality of language was awkward, grammatically incorrect, and sounded like it was written by someone not fluent in English. Word choices were like someone did a mad-libs exercise with every buzzy cliche business term possible. The proposed format was even more copy than I had started with, with long paragraphs of text.

I ran my original resume and the new Top Resume version through a couple of resume scoring platforms and the Top Resume version scored lower than mine.

I pinged Customer Service twice through the chat and once via email and got no human response.

This was a waste of time.

They assigned your resume to random people who are not professional writers. The english was pathetic on my resume, they never took the substance from my questionnaires. And they waste your time on customer care calls. Good bye to the hefty fees they charge for doing NOTHING.
They are a scam. If they were genuine they would have refunded my money back or had the courtesy to pickup my call.

This is my second time utilizing the services at Top Resume. Both times I experienced exceptional customer service. Turn around time was faster than initially quoted and both writers were great to work with.

I purchased a $272 resume & cover letter package with extra for expedited 2 day service. While the company was quick and responsive, what was delivered to me was full of misspellings, grammatical errors, and incomprehensible bullet points. It was clear the author disregarded all of my notes and requests. They increased my resume from my 1 page to 3 FULL pages, when I have less than five years of professional experience. My cover letter looked like it was copied and pasted from a google image, it was so poorly written and it included ALL FIVE of my most recent job titles. I had to spend an hour sending my writer my notes, grammar edits, and complaints was the one PAYING to have someone to do that work for me. The work was so unprofessional and even when I requested a refund, TR rejected that and instead offered me a new writer and complimentary thank you email template. After spending hours on the phone trying to reach an agent, I was finally granted a full refund. While I was grateful for the exceptional service I received at the end, it took weeks of my time and money. I WOULD NOT recommend TopResume, unless you are completely new to the workforce and have time to spend in your job search. Hope this helps.

I have received several compliments on my resume an cover letter. I think that my LinkedIn account looks so much better as well. I have had a few really good interviews since the update, and I feel like I am getting more and more people reaching out to me for jobs, to which I would credit the very professional looking resume and cover letter that I now have.
