I wish I had read the negative reviews on this, and other, sites before purchasing a service with this company. At least those reviews received a service, if only a poor one, but I never even got that.
In early July I purchased a resume update service, where they were supposed to help with adding my most recent employment history to an existing resume. From the purchase date to a month later I had to chase them up four separate times asking on the progress of my order. They kept assuring me that it was fine and that I would hear from a writer in a couple days. Finally on the fourth chase up they told me that they were not able to link the update service I purchased to an existing resume and therefore no writer had been assigned to complete the service, so I guess the first few people I talked to were just leading me on. At least now they knew what the issue was, but they still didn't know what to do about it. So rather than fix it they started offering me services other than the one I paid for. After a while I just requested a refund, which they agreed to after keeping over half of the price I paid as a cancellation fee.
So basically I gave this company a donation, and got nothing in return except too many back and forth emails/calls with their abysmal customer service team.

I recently availed of the Executive Priority Resume Writing Package from TopResume, and I must say that my experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I entrusted them with the task of creating a professional resume and cover letter that accurately reflected my experience and career goals, but unfortunately, the service I received was far from satisfactory.

To begin with, the resume provided was of extremely poor quality. It seemed as if the writer didn't take my notes into account at all. The document did not represent my work history, skills, or aspirations accurately. It was a generic piece that could have belonged to anyone, completely failing to capture the essence of my career journey.

Moreover, the writer seemed to lack a fundamental understanding of my work history and objectives. It was evident that they did not take the time to comprehend my background before attempting to craft a resume. This resulted in a resume that was riddled with inaccuracies and failed to emphasize my strengths.

Adding to the frustration, the work was delivered late, causing me to miss out on several valuable job opportunities. The whole purpose of investing in a resume writing service was to enhance my chances of securing interviews and advancing my career. Instead, the delay and subsequent missed opportunities have set me back significantly.

I had opted for the Executive Priority Resume Writing Package, expecting top-notch service. However, what I received was anything but that. The resume and cover letter were far from personalized, and the overall quality was abysmal.

When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service, I was offered a meager 30% refund. It's disheartening to think that all I received in return for my investment was an unusable CV and cover letter.

In conclusion, my experience with TopResume has been incredibly frustrating and disheartening. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice before proceeding. The lack of personalized attention, poor quality of work, missed opportunities, and inadequate resolution to my concerns have left me deeply dissatisfied.

Horrible - it looked like a 5th grader put it together. What a waste of time and money. I have issued a fraud claim because Bruce their CS Bot cant get past my request for a refund. USE ANY OTHER SERVICE

They gave me a poorly formatted resume that was full of misspellings and grammatical error, nothing about my personal attributes or who I was as a person. All of the bullets were AI generated. Any hiring manager would have binned the resume. The cover letter I received was generic garbage that they probably copy and pasted from a template or used AI to generate. Please do yourself a favour and just avoid this company! Despite several attempts at getting a refund it fell on deaf ears. Avoid at all costs. Save your money I paid for an Executive Priority Resume Writing Package and got a poorly formatted/ written and non personal resume in return. The Re-write didnt include an updated cover letter or linked in profile

I was pleasantly surprised to have my first draft before the target date. I was pleased with the first draft and only had to make minor changes. I would use them again in the future for other job seeking services. Good value for the price I paid compared to other resume writing services.

It's been a couple of days and I only attached the resume in 2 places so far and my inbox is full of real people reaching out to interview me. I recommend this to anyone including the professionals who already have a resume.

I paid top résumé to help update and reformat my resume and cover letter. After I applied to over 100 jobs. I received no responses from this postings. Confused I ran the new resume through their resume review system to see how the new resume stood out. And it was worse than my original. After reaching out for assistance the only option they gave me was to pay them again for the same service. They also denied the 30 guarantee they advertise everywhere. Claiming that it only apples to the upper tiers.
This was a terrible experience and it seems I'm just out of money on this one.
