When I first started looking for new job opportunities, I used an old resume that a different free resume service had rated 91%. But after a couple of weeks of not getting the attention of prospective employers, I tried TopResume. They gave my resume a rating of 71% so I asked them to improve it. Julia M. Took on the project and did a great job. She was fast and clearly knew what she was doing. She took my comments and incorporated them into the resume, and made small improvements through a second round of review. The resume looks updated, fresh, and eye-catching. I would recommend the service to anyone.

Good resume is to get you interview opportunites and then it's up to you to sell yourself to potential employers. I had 6 pages resume, a laundry list of what I had done in the past and Cindy R transformed it to 2 pages with the right format, style and most importantly the right keywords for the job I want to apply. Less than a week after I posted the new resume and I have two phone interviews and one of them leads to a F2F and potential job offer!

I'm glad I finally broke and decided to spend the money for this service. I've been trying to get an internship with a resume I created with my college career center for over a year and was getting nowhere as soon as I posted the new resume written by TopResume I was getting contacted by random companies on Monster. The turn around for the whole process was probably two weeks at most, and I only had to make some minor changes during the revision. I would recommend this service to someone who isn't having any luck.

I am regretting I didn't read these reviews before... It happened to me as well... Such a joke they are! I sent my resume and after nearly one week I didn't hear from them. So I wrote again to complain. I get an answer from someone replying me that my resume was waiting to be approved... The day after I had an email from Joe, another "writer", telling me my previous writer was not available anymore and that he was taking care of me. After a few days I had, a resume which is roughly the same as mine... They just played with a few words and sentences, cut the most important tasks for my job. In other words, a lower professional profile... And they have replied below in the same way they do for resumes, past and copy! Why should I use Facebook? So UNPROFESSIONAL! Please, don't use their services and check all the complains below! Don't trust the good ones!

Only issue that I had was that I had contacted TopResume same week that I was laid off. Knowing that there would be a great more candidates looking for work. There was a sense of urgency that needed to be addressed. In the long run great product. I would only advise anybody that is currently working have their resumes updated NOW and don't wait until you get laid of.
