After being part of a company downsizing I was nervous to spend this much money with no income. I felt my resume was great to begin with. After receiving a free evaluation I realized maybe my resume did need help. I sent it to a few companies and it was posted on a few job boards with no results. I decided to give top resume a whirl. I was looking to go in a new direction without starting at the bottom. After filling out a questionnaire, I had my first resume draft, cover letter and follow up letter within 48 hours. None of them needed changes. I can not believe the difference in the way the resume was written and how the formatting flowed. I had interview requests for the first 3 jobs I've applied for! TopResume was very easy to work with, and the pricing was great. My writer's name was Kim. There was a bit of a delay in getting my first draft, but the rep who responded to me was very apologetic, and provided me with a couple of options as to how they could redeem themselves. Once Kim got to work, everything moved quickly. She answered several questions, and made some requested revisions. I was very happy with the final result, and would confidently recommend TopResume to anyone looking for this type of service.

I looked at several companies to help me rewrite my resume and found a wide variance of not only cost but how I felt about the representatives that I spoke to. Some seemed to really try to understand my background and goals and others didn't. With TopResume, I found both a very reasonable cost and people that made the effort to understand me and my goals. I am very pleased with the job they did, the responsiveness, and customer care.

Working with TopResume was a great experience, my writer didn't miss a deadline and did a fantastic job customizing the documents to the jobs I am targeting. I absolutely love both my cover letter and resume while both are a huge upgrade from my previous documents.

However, I applied for nearly 50 vacancies and did not got an interview or a positive response. That's the only negative thing to say that got me wondered if it is not efficient enough.

I spent over $400 to have my resume done by a professional. The results were not what I had hoped for. I ran my resume through the TopResume system that picked up on what I had noticed myself. It was half-hearted and didn't make my career sound like I had done anything special when in fact I've had a very extensive career.
